This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed and revised selected papers from the 12th International Conference on Pattern Recognition Applications and Methods, ICPRAM 2023, held in Lisbon, Portugal, during February 22–24, 2023. The 28 full papers and 42 short papers included in this book were carefully reviewed and selected from 157 submissions. They were organized in topical sections as follows: theory and methods and applications.

This two-volume set LNAI 14473-14474 constitutes revised selected papers presented at the Third CAAI International Conference, CICAI 2023, in Fuzhou, China, in July 2023. CICAI is a summit forum in the field of artificial intelligence and the 2023 forum was hosted by Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI). The 100 papers were thoroughly reviewed and selected from 376 submissions. CICAI 2023 conference covers a wide range of of AI generated content, computer vision, machine learning, nature language processing, application of AI, and data mining, amongst others.

This book contains revised and extended versions of selected papers from the 10th and 11th International Conference on Pattern Recognition, ICPRAM 2021 and 2022, held in February 2021 and 2022. Due to COVID-19 pandemic the conferences were held virtually. Both conferences received in total 204 submissions from which 8 full papers were carefully reviewed and selected for presentation in this volume. The papers span a wide range of investigation as well as development lines, which of course always reflect the last trends of research in the pattern recognition community.

This three-volume set LNCS 13604-13606 constitutes revised selected papers presented at the Second CAAI International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, held in Beijing, China, in August 2022. CICAI is a summit forum in the field of artificial intelligence and the 2022 forum was hosted by Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI).The 164 papers were thoroughly reviewed and selected from 521 submissions. CICAI aims to establish a global platform for international academic exchange, promote advanced research in AI and its affiliated disciplines such as machine learning, computer vision, natural language, processing, and data mining, amongst others.

This book constitutes the proceedings of the 12th International Workshop on Statistical Atlases and Computational Models of the Heart, STACOM 2021, as well as the M&Ms-2 Challenge: Multi-Disease, Multi-View and Multi-Center Right Ventricular Segmentation in Cardiac MRI Challenge.The 25 regular workshop papers included in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected after being revised. They deal with cardiac imaging and image processing, machine learning applied to cardiac imaging and image analysis, atlas construction, artificial intelligence, statistical modelling of cardiac function across different patient populations, cardiac computational physiology, model customization, atlas based functional analysis, ontological schemata for data and results, integrated functional and structural analyses, as well as the pre-clinical and clinical applicability of these methods. In addition, 15 papers from the M&MS-2 challenge are included in this volume. The Multi-Disease, Multi-View & Multi-Center Right Ventricular Segmentation in Cardiac MRI Challenge (M&Ms-2) is focusing on the development of generalizable deep learning models for the Right Ventricle that can maintain good segmentation accuracy on different centers, pathologies and cardiac MRI views. There was a total of 48 submissions to the workshop.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 15th International Conference on Pattern Recognition and Information Processing, PRIP 2021, held in Minsk, Belarus, in September 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the conference was held online. The 17 revised full papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 90 submissions. The papers present a discussion on theoretical and applied aspects of computer vision, recognition of signals and images, the use of distributed resources, and high-performance systems.

The two-volume set LNCS 11992 and 11993 constitutes the thoroughly refereed proceedings of the 5th International MICCAI Brainlesion Workshop, BrainLes 2019, the International Multimodal Brain Tumor Segmentation (BraTS) challenge, the Computational Precision Medicine: Radiology-Pathology Challenge on Brain Tumor Classification (CPM-RadPath) challenge, as well as the tutorial session on Tools Allowing Clinical Translation of Image Computing Algorithms (TACTICAL). These were held jointly at the Medical Image Computing for Computer Assisted Intervention Conference, MICCAI, in Shenzhen, China, in October 2019. The revised selected papers presented in these volumes were organized in the following topical sections: brain lesion image analysis (12 selected papers from 32 submissions); brain tumor image segmentation (57 selected papers from 102 submissions); combined MRI and pathology brain tumor classification (4 selected papers from 5 submissions); tools allowing clinical translation of image computing algorithms (2 selected papers from 3 submissions.)

This book constitutes thoroughly refereed revised selected papers from the First IAPR TC3 Workshop on Partially Supervised Learning, PSL 2011, held in Ulm, Germany, in September 2011. The 14 papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected for inclusion in the book, which also includes 3 invited talks. PSL 2011 dealt with methodological issues as well as real-world applications of PSL.
