- Abstract
A new flavonoid named saniculamin C ( 1 ), together with six known compounds ( 2-7 ), were isolated from the whole plants of Sanicula lamelligera Hance. The chemical structures were elucidated by spectroscopic and physico-chemical analyses. All isolates were evaluated for in vitro cytotoxic activities against four human cancer cell lines, HepG2, SGC-7901 gastric cancer, Hela and A-549 lung cancer. Compound 1 showed potent antiproliferative activities against SGC-7901 cells with IC
50 value of 7.45 μM. In addition, compound 6 exhibited weak antiproliferative activities against HepG2, SGC-7901, Hela cancer cells with IC50 values of 10.43, 8.24 and 15.32 μM, respectively.[Formula: see text].- Published
