Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is one of the microvascular complications of diabetes mellitus and a major pathological feature of neovascular DR. These patients potentially experience vision impairment and blindness. Platelet-derived growth factor receptor β (PDGFRβ), fibroblast growth factor receptor 1 (FGFR1), and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2) are implicated in the DR pathogenesis. Nintedanib (BIBF1120) is an oral selective dual receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) inhibitor of VEGFR2, FGFR1, and PDGFRβ. In this study, intravitreal injection of BIBF1120 blocked the phosphorylation of VEGFR2, FGFR1, PDGFRβ, and MAPK signaling pathway proteins in a streptozotocin (STZ)-induced diabetic retinopathy mouse model. In in vitro cell experiments, BIBF1120 did not change cellular activity under normal conditions, while it further suppressed the tube formation, migration, and proliferation of high glucose-induced human retinal microvascular endothelial cells (HRMECs). Additionally, BIBF1120 blocked the phosphorylation of p38, JNK, and ERK1/2 in high glucose-treating HRMECs. Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a rare and refractory autoimmune disease, and Qi Shen Di Huang (QSDH) drug formulary is an in-hospital herbal decoction with proven clinical efficacy in treating MG. Currently, most of the research on the QSDH drug formulary has concentrated on its clinical efficacy, and there is a lack of systematic study on the material basis. The active compounds and their mechanism of action have not been entirely determined. Therefore, this study sought to identify the active compounds in the QSDH drug formulary and analyze the key targets and potential mechanisms. We used ultra-performance liquid chromatography Q Exactive-mass spectrometry (UHPLC-QE-MS) and Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform (TCMSP) database to identify and screen 85 active ingredients corresponding to 59 potential targets (17 herbs) associated with myasthenia gravis, and further identified AKT1 as the primary core target and the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway as the most substantial enriched pathway. Molecular docking and UPLC-MS analysis identified quercetin, luteolin, wogonin, kaempferol, laccasein, and epigallocatechin gallate are the core compounds of the QSDH drug formulary. In vivo rat studies showed that the QSDH drug formulary reduced Lennon's clinical score and decreased acetylcholine receptor antibody levels in peripheral blood rats with experimental autoimmune myasthenia gravis. In addition, the QSDH drug formulary downregulated P-PI3K/PI3K and P-Akt/Akt protein expression. Collectively, these findings describe the role and potential mechanism of the QSDH drug formulary in the treatment of MG, which exerts potential value by acting on AKT targets and regulating the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway and providing a theoretical reference for QSDH drug formulary application in the clinical treatment of MG. Background. Fructus mume pills (FMPs) have been clinically proven to be effective for treating ulcerative colitis (UC). However, the therapeutic and protective mechanisms have not been fully studied. Aim. We aimed to explore the mechanism of FMPs in an acetic acid (AA)-induced ulcerative colitis rat model. Methods. The targets, GO terms, and KEGG pathways for the FMPs and UC were screened and constructed using network pharmacology. A possible mechanism was verified in a 4% AA-induced colitis rat model. Colitis activity and state were evaluated using the disease activity index, and colon ulceration and intestinal mucosal damage were determined by histopathological observation through HE, AB-PAS, and Masson pathological staining. The concentrations of TNF-α, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, MPO, MMP9, CXCR1, eNOS, and VEGF were measured to evaluate vascular permeability effects. Results. The network pharmacology results showed 108 active compounds, and 139 FMP-related targets were identified. Twenty-nine targets were identified for FMPs against UC, which included MMP9, MMP3, ESR1, PTGS1, PPARA, MPO, and NOS2. A total of 1,536 GO terms and 41 pathways were associated with FMP treatment of UC. The pharmacological evaluation showed that FMPs attenuated inflammation in AA-induced colitis by reducing the serum concentrations of TNF-α, IL-6, IL-8, and IL-10 and the colonic concentrations of MPO, MMP9, and CXCR1. FMPs ameliorated hyperpermeability by reducing the colonic VEGF and eNOS concentrations. FMPs also significantly decreased the VEGFA, VEGFR2, Src, and eNOS protein expressions in colon tissue through the VEGF-PI3K/Akt-eNOS signaling pathway. Conclusion. These results suggest that FMPs control UC inflammation by regulating inflammatory cytokine concentrations. Objective: The aim of this study was to research the role and underlying mechanism of miR-195 involved in pancreatic β-cell dedifferentiation induced by hyperlipemia in type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods: High-fat-diet-induced obese C57BL/6J mice and palmitate-stimulated Min6 cells were used as the models of β-cell dedifferentiation in vivo and in vitro, respectively. The expression of miR-195 and insulin secretion during β-cell dedifferentiation were measured. Also, the influence of regulated miR-195 expression on β-cell dedifferentiation was examined. Meanwhile, the IRS-1/2/Pi3k/Akt pathway and mitofusin-2 (Mfn2) expression were investigated during β-cell dedifferentiation.Results: MiR-195 was upregulated during lipotoxicity-induced β-cell dedifferentiation in both in vivo and in vitro experiments, and miR-195 functionally contributed to lipotoxicity-induced β-cell dedifferentiation. Furthermore, miR-195 inhibited IRS-1/2/Pi3k/Akt pathway activation, which accompanied β-cell dedifferentiation. Mfn2, a target of miR-195, was found to be downregulated and was associated with increased mitochondrial production of reactive oxygen species during β-cell dedifferentiation. Instructively, inhibition of miR-195, at least partially, reversed the downregulation of Mfn2, restored IRS-1/2/Pi3k/Akt pathway activation, and prevented β-cell dedifferentiation.Conclusions: MiR-195 promoted β-cell dedifferentiation through negatively regulating Mfn2 expression and inhibiting the IRS-1/2/Pi3k/Akt pathway, providing a promising treatment for type 2 diabetes mellitus. Background. A large number of proinflammatory/anti-inflammatory cytokines are produced in the extracellular matrix (ECM) after myocardial infarction (MI), and the inflammatory pathways activated by these inflammatory stimuli are involved in the regulation of lesions with excessive accumulation of ECM. Wenxin granules can play a protective role against MI, but the mechanism of its effect on the inflammatory pathway and ECM collagen expression is still unclear. Objective. To verify the effect of Wenxin granules on the inflammatory pathway and collagen expression after MI. Method. The proximal left anterior descending coronary artery in rats was ligated to induce acute MI. Then, animals were randomly assigned to the model group, the Carvedilol group, and the Wenxin Granules group. In addition, sham operation rats were used as the control group. 10 rats were allocated in each group. Gavage was given once a day for 4 weeks. The changes of cardiac hemodynamics were detected by the catheter method, morphological changes were observed by HE staining, and myocardial tissue collagen volume was counted by Immunohistochemistry combined with Masson staining, and the expression of inflammatory TGFβ-p38/JNK MAPK signal pathway markers was detected by Western blot. Results. Wenxin granules could significantly improve the hemodynamics, so that the fibrosis scar was relatively dense and uniform, and the residual myocardium was relatively neat, while Collagen type I and III volume and TGFβ expression levels were lessened. Although there were no differences in the expression of CTGF, p38, and JNK proteins, their phosphorylation levels showed significant differences. Conclusion. Wenxin granules can affect the inflammation-related TGFβ-p38/JNK MAPK signaling pathway and change the structural properties of myocardium and scar after MI by attenuated collagen deposition in the left ventricular myocardial tissue to improve cardiac function. Qiliqiangxin capsule (QLC), a natural herb recipe with therapeutic effect from China, has been widely used in clinical practice for attenuating cardiac remodeling induced by myocardial infarction (MI). However, the pharmacological mechanism of QLC on cardiac remodeling after MI is not entirely clear. The present study aims to investigate the effectiveness and mechanisms of QLC on cardiac remodeling induced by MI in rats. The animal model was established by permanently ligating the left anterior descending coronary artery in rats. Subsequently, rats with successful ligation were randomly divided into model group, captopril group, and QLC group. And the control group was operated upon in parallel except ligation, namely, the sham group. All rats were treated through the intragastric administration once a day for 4 weeks. Cardiac hemodynamics was measured after treatment. Then, the left ventricular mass index (LVMI) was examined. The pathological changes were observed by HE staining. The collagen volume fraction (CVF) was detected by Masson trichrome staining. The apoptosis index was obtained by TUNEL fluorescent staining. The miR-133a and mRNA of TGF-β1, CTGF, Caspase9, and Caspase3 were examined by real-time PCR. The protein expressions of TGF-β1, CTGF, Caspase9, Caspase3, and cleaved-Caspase3 were tested by Western blot. Compared with the model group, QLC partially improved cardiac hemodynamics and decreased LVMI. miR-133a was significantly increased in QLC group. In addition, QLC declined CVF by downregulating TGF-β1 rather than CTGF. Meanwhile, QLC decreased the apoptosis index by attenuating Caspase9, Caspase3, and cleaved-Caspase3. This study suggested that QLC could improve cardiac function and partially attenuate cardiac remodeling by attenuating fibrosis and decreasing apoptosis, which might be partially related to miR-133a, TGF-β1, Caspase9, and Caspase3. Myocardial infarction (MI) patients are at high risk of potential lethal arrhythmia. Gap junction and microRNA-1 (miR-1) are both arrhythmia generating conditions. The present study investigated whether Wenxin Granules (Wenxin-Keli, WXKL) could prevent potential lethal arrhythmia by improving gap junctions and miR-1 following MI. Male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided randomly into control, model, metoprolol, low dose WXKL, and high dose WXKL groups. The MI rat model was created by coronary artery ligation. Treatments were administrated intragastrically to the rats for 4 weeks. Conventional transmission electron microscopy was performed to observe the ultrastructure of gap junctions. Quantitative real-time PCR and western blotting were used to detect the expression of miR-1, protein kinase C (PKC), and related proteins. Additionally, a programmatic electrophysiological stimulation test was performed to detect the ventricular fibrillation threshold (VFT). WXKL protected the ultrastructure of the gap junctions and their constituent Cx43 by regulating miR-1 and PKC mediated signal transduction and increased the VFT significantly in the rat MI model. Background: Porphyromonas gingivalis is one of the major periodontal pathogens. In a previous study, a mouse abscess model showed that sialidase deficiency of P. gingivalis weakened its virulence, but the mechanism behind this observation remains unknown.Methods: A sialidase-deficient mutant strain (△PG0352) and a complemented strain (com△PG0352) were constructed. Epi4 cells were stimulated by wild-type strain P. gingivalis W83, △PG0352, or com△PG0352. Real-time polymerase chain reaction was carried out to detect expression of virulent genes in P. gingivalis and interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6, IL-8, and tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α in epi4 cells. Activities of sialidase, gingipains, and lipopolysaccharide (LPS) were compared among the different P. gingivalis strains. Levels of IL-1β and TNF-α in the epi4 cells supernatant were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and levels of p38, extracellular signal-regulated kinase, c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK), and phospho-c-Jun were detected by western blotting.Results: Compared with P. gingivalis W83 and com△PG0352, activities of Kgp and Rgp gingipains and amount of LPS decreased in △PG0352, whereas there were no differences in LPS activity among these three strains. Level of phospho-JNK was lower in epi4 cells stimulated by △PG0352. △pG0352 induced less IL-1β and TNF-α and more IL-8 in epi4 cells; differences in IL-1β and TNF-α could not be detected after JNK blocking.Conclusion: A sialidase-deficient P. gingivalis mutant strain induces less IL-1β and TNF-α in epi4 cells than W83 strain through regulation of JNK pathway. In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), xianfanghuomingyin (XFHM) is used to treat autoimmune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Here, we studied the mechanisms underlying its treatment effects, especially its anti-inflammatory effects in a collagen-induced arthritis (CIA) mouse model. We found that cartilage destruction and pannus formation were alleviated by treatment with XFHM. The abnormal differentiation of Th1 and Th17 cells was downregulated significantly by XFHM, and Th2 and Treg cells were upregulated. Moreover, the expression levels of specific cytokines and transcription factors related to Th1 cells (interferon γ [IFNγ], T-bet) and Th17 cells (interleukin- [IL-] 17) and the nuclear receptor retinoic acid receptor-related orphan receptor-gamma (RORγ) were downregulated. Serum IL-4 and GATA-3, which contribute to Th2 cells differentiation, increased significantly after XFHM administration. These results indicate that XFHM can restore the balance of T lymphocytes and reestablish the immunological tolerance to inhibit autoinflammatory disorder of RA. Background: Activation of the transcription factor NF-κB and expression of pro-inflammatory mediators have been considered as major events of acute pancreatitis (AP). Karyopherin alpha 2 (KPNA2), a member of the importin α family, reportedly modulates p65 subcellular localization.Aim: This study aimed to investigate the expression and possible functions of KPNA2 in the AP cell and animal model, focusing on its association with NF-κB activation.Methods: An AP cell model was established with the cerulein-stimulated AR42J and isolated rat pancreatic acinar cells. The AP rat model was induced by the intraperitoneal injection of cerulein. The secretion of TNF-α, IL-6, and LDH was detected by ELISA kits and the production of NO using nitric oxide kit. Expression of KPNA2 was measured by RT-PCR and Western blot. Expression levels of IKKα, phosphorylation of p65, and total p65 were detected by Western blot. Co-localization of KPNA2 with p65 was observed by immunofluorescence assay. To determine the biological functions of KPNA2 in cerulein-induced inflammatory response, RNA interference was employed to knockdown KPNA2 expression in AR42J and isolated pancreatic acini cells.Results: Cerulein stimulated KPNA2 expression and IL-6, TNF-α, NO, and LDH production in rat pancreatic acinar cells. Cerulein triggered the phosphorylation and nuclear translocation of NF-κB p65 subunit, indicating the NF-κB activation. The co-localization and nuclear accumulation of KPNA2 and p65 were detected in cerulein-treated cells. Knocking down KPNA2 hindered cerulein-induced nuclear transportation of p65 and alleviated the subsequent inflammatory response in rat pancreatic acinar cells. Additionally, KPNA2 expression was significantly up-regulated in cerulein-induced AP rat model.Conclusions: KPNA2-facilitated p65 nuclear translocation promotes NF-κB activation and inflammation in acute pancreatitis. Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a chronic idiopathic inflammatory disorder of the large intestine. Fructus mume (FM), a natural food with nutritive and pharmaceutical value, has demonstrated therapeutic efficacy against UC. In this study, we investigated the protective effects and mechanisms of FM against UC. We induced UC in rats with 4% (v/v) acetic acid (AA), orally administered 0.7 or 0.325 g/kg FM and 0.3 g/kg sulfasalazine (SASP) for 7 days, and explored the responses the drugs elicited in the rats. We assessed the general conditions of the rats by the disease active index. We evaluated colon tissue damage macroscopically and by Hematoxylin & Eosin, Alcian Blue–periodic acid–Schiff, and Masson's staining, and explored the potential mechanisms of FM on inflammation, oxidative stress, and neuropeptides by measuring TNF-α, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, MMP9, CXCR-1, SOD, GSH-px, MDA, ROS, SIRT3, SP, VIP, ghrelin, and 5-HT. FM treatment significantly attenuated colon damage and submucosal fibrosis compared with the model. It lowered serum proinflammatory TNF-α, IL-8, and colonic MMP9 and CXCR-1, and raised serum anti-inflammatory IL-10 levels. FM upregulated the antioxidant enzymes SOD, GSH-px, and SITR3 protein but inhibited ROS and MDA production. It downregulated colonic SP, VIP, ghrelin, and 5-HT. The beneficial effects of FM might be dose dependent. Around 0.7 g/kg FM and SASP displayed similar efficacy for treating AA-induced colitis in rats. Our results provide empirical evidence that FM protects against AA-induced UC in rats via anti-inflammatory and antioxidant mechanisms, and regulates neuropeptides; thus, FM may be a promising, safe, and efficacious alternative therapy for UC, if its efficacy can be confirmed in human trials. The process of atherosclerosis (AS) is complicated. Transcriptomics technology can assist in discovering the underlying mechanisms and exploring the key targets of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) against atherosclerosis. This study aimed to investigate targets and signaling pathways significantly related to AS and the potential intervention targets of Xuefu Zhuyu decoction by transcriptomics. AS models were established by subjecting ApoE-/-mice to an 8-week high-fat diet. Structural changes and plaque formation in the aortic root were observed using hematoxylin-eosin staining (HE staining), while Oil Red O staining was employed to visualize lipid deposition within the aortic root plaque. Movat staining and immunohistochemical staining were conducted to examine the components present in the aortic root plaque. Macrophage content within the plaque was observed through immunofluorescence. Additionally, mRNA sequencing was performed on aortic tissues to identify differentially expressed genes. Enrichment analysis was performed using GO and KEGG analysis. Visualization of the protein-protein interaction (PPI) network was achieved using Cytoscape 3.7.1 and STRING. Western blotting (WB) was employed to assess the protein expression of major differentially expressed genes in the aortic tissue. The drug freeze-dried powder of Xuefu Zhuyu decoction was prepared and the RAW264.7 cells were induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) to build an in vitro model. Real-time quantitative PCR was employed to measure the mRNA expression of major differential genes. After ApoE-/- mice were fed with an 8-week high-fat diet, observable changes included the thinning of the aortic root wall, the accumulation of foam cells within the plaque, and the formation of cholesterol crystals in the model group. Treatment with Xuefu Zhuyu (XFZY) decoction for 12 weeks significantly reduced the lipid deposition and the number of macrophages (P < 0.05) and significantly increased the collagen content within the plaque (P < 0.01). Enrichment analysis revealed a high enrichment of the Cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction pathway and Chemokine signaling pathway. Noteworthy genes involved in this response included Ccl12 , Ccl22 , Cx3cr1 , Ccr7 , Ccr2 , Tnfrsf25 , and Gdf5. Xuefu Zhuyu decoction significantly downregulated the expression of CX3CL1 and CX3CR1 (P < 0.05) and upregulated the expression of GDF5 (P < 0.01). Compared with control group, in cell models, the mRNA expressions of Ccl12 , Ccl22 , and Ccr2 were significantly upregulated (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01). Xuefu Zhuyu decoction significantly downregulated the expression of Ccl12 , Ccl22 , Cx3cr1 , Ccr7 and Ccr2 (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01). Xuefu Zhuyu decoction demonstrates effective regulation of plaque components, retarding plaque progression and preserving plaque stability by modulating lipid metabolism and inflammatory responses. Subsequent transcriptome analysis identified the Cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction and Chemokine signaling pathway as potential key pathways for the therapeutic effects of Xuefu Zhuyu decoction. The traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formula Banxia Xiexin decoction (BXD) has definite therapeutic effect in treating stress-induced gastric ulceration (SIGU) and many other gastrointestinal diseases, but its effect on gastric lymphatic pumping (GLP) remains unclear. Elucidating the role of GLP in SIGU and BXD treatment, and exploring the molecular mechanisms of GLP regulation. In vivo GLP imaging were performed on SIGU rat model, and the lymphatic dynamic parameters were evaluated. Gastric antrum tissues and serum were collected for macroscopic, histopathological and ulcerative parameters analysis. Gastric lymphatic vessel (GLV) tissues were collected for RNA-Seq assays. Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were screened from RNA-Seq result and submitted for transcriptomic analysis. Key DEGs and their derivative proteins were measured by qRT-PCR and WB. GLP was significantly suppressed in SIGU rats. BXD could recover GLP, ameliorate stomach lymphostasis, and alleviate the ulcerative damage. Transcriptome analysis of GLV showed the top up-DEGs were concentrated in smooth muscle contraction signaling pathway, while the top the down-DEGs were concentrated in energy metabolism pathways especially fatty acid degradation pathway, which indicated BXD can promote lymphatic smooth muscle contraction, regulate energy metabolism, and reduce fatty acid degradation. The most possible target of these mechanisms was the lymphatic smooth muscle cells (LSMCs) which drove the GLP. This speculation was further validated by the qRT-PCR and WB assessments for the level of key genes and proteins. By activating the smooth muscle contraction signaling pathway, restoring energy supply, modulating energy metabolism program and reducing fatty acid degradation, BXD effectively recovered GLP, mitigated the accumulation of inflammatory cytokines and metabolic wastes in the stomach, which importantly contributes to its efficacy in treating SIGU. Aberrant angiogenesis is a hallmark of cancer and is critically associated with tumor progression. Perivascular cells are essential components of blood vessels, and the role of tumor perivascular cell-derived extracellular vesicles (TPC-EVs) in angiogenesis remains elusive. In the present study, using genetic mouse models and pharmacological inhibitors, we found that ablation of perivascular cells inhibited angiogenesis in allografted colorectal cancer tumors. Further studies demonstrated that TPC-EVs promoted the proliferation, migration, invasion, viability, and tube formation of HUVECs. They also facilitated vessel spouting in rat aortic rings and induced neovascularization in chick chorioallantoic membranes (CAMs). Silencing of Gas6 or blockade of the Axl pathway suppressed TPC-EV-induced angiogenesis in vitro and ex vivo. Moreover, inhibition of the Gas6/Axl signaling pathway impaired TPC-EV-mediated angiogenesis in vivo. Our findings present a deeper insight into the biological functions of TPCs and TPC-EVs in tumor angiogenesis and demonstrate that TPC-EV-derived Gas6 could be an attractive and innovative regulator of tumor angiogenesis. Tumor metastasis is the main cause of death in patients with triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). Bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSCs) have tropism towards tumor tissues, and can be converted into tumor-associated mesenchymal stromal cells (TA-MSCs) to facilitate TNBC metastasis through interactions with tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs). However, the underlying molecular mechanisms are complex and unclear, and effective strategies to suppress tumor metastasis via eliminating TA-MSCs are still lacking. Here, we demonstrate that fibroblast activation protein alpha (FAPα) was overexpressed in TA-MSCs, which prompts TA-MSCs to secrete multiple C-C motif chemokine ligands, promoting C-C motif chemokine receptor 2 (CCR2)+ TAM recruitment and facilitating TAM polarization into the M2 phenotype, thereby promoting TNBC pulmonary metastasis. Z-GP-DAVLBH, an FAPα-activated vinblastine prodrug, induces FAPα+ TA-MSC apoptosis, which significantly suppresses CCR2+ TAM recruitment and polarization, thus inhibiting pulmonary metastasis of orthotopic TNBC cell-derived xenografts and patient-derived xenografts. This study provides insight into an important role of FAPα in mediating TA-MSC-induced TNBC metastasis and provides compelling evidence that targeting TA-MSCs with an FAPα-activated prodrug is a promising strategy for suppressing TNBC metastasis. Banxia Xiexin Decoction (BXD) is a traditional Chinese medical formula applied to gastrointestinal (GI) motility disorders. Previous studies showed that miR-451-5p was down-regulated in rats with GI motility disorders induced by gastric electrical dysrhythmia. Interstitial cells of Cajal (ICCs) are pacemakers for GI motility, while loss of ICCs is responsible for GI motility disturbance. Thus, the underlying interaction mechanisms for BXD regulating ICCs apoptosis via miR-451-5p remain to be explored. In this work, the main objectives were to examine the efficacy of BXD on ICCs via miR-451-5p both in GI motility disorders rats model and in vitro, as well as the potential contributions of SCF/c-kit signaling. Rats with gastric electrical dysrhythmia were established in male SD rats by using a single-day diet and a double fasting method (drinking diluted hydrochloric acid water during the period) for 4 weeks. The gastric slow wave (GSW) recording, RT-qPCR, and western blot were performed to examine the effects of BXD on ICCs apoptosis in rats with GED and miR-451-5p expression. In vitro assays included CCK-8, flow cytometry analysis, RT-qPCR, and western blot were applied to investigate the potential molecular mechanism of BXD on ICCs apoptosis via miR-451-5p. BXD promoted gastric motility, reduced ICCs apoptosis, and elevated miR-451-5p in GED rats. In addition, miR-451-5p was significantly up-regulated in ICCs after BXD treatment compared with that in ICCs with miR-451-5p inhibitor transfection. Meanwhile, high miR-451-5p expression with either BXD treatment or miRNA mimics enhanced ICCs proliferation and inhibit apoptosis. Moreover, overexpression of miR-451-5p can reverse G0/G1 arrest in ICCs by BXD treatment. Further, SCF and c-kit protein levels were detected to demonstrate that modulation of miR-451-5p by BXD treatment was involved in this signaling. Through this study, we demonstrated that BXD could promote ICCs proliferation and inhibit apoptosis via miR-451-5p and may involve the modulations of SCF/c-kit signaling, thus suggesting a new therapy basis for GI motility dysfunction from the perspective of modulation of ICCs apoptosis by targeting miR-451-5p.
