This publication presents a multi-criteria comparison of two mobile applications built with the use of Android and Flutter SDK. The former has been implemented with Kotlin and the latter with Dart. The benchmarking process examines factors such as execution time and CPU usage during data and disk operations. During the analysis, attention was paid to the length and volume the source code, community support and the availability of libraries. The comparative analysis shows that a mobile application written using Android SDK is often not only faster and more efficient, but also has greater community support and the number of libraries available. In addition, an analysis of the source code volume showed that Flutter has more concise but more difficult to navigate code than Android.

Застосування Android-технологій в сфері автоматизації дозволить людині мати прямий доступ в режимі реального часу до поточних даних системи з будь якого місця та в будь який час, а також мати можливість впливати на систему використовуючи смартфон. Головною метою роботи є розробка системи автоматизації нагрівального колодязя та додатку на платформі Android для контролю та регулювання параметрів системи. The use of Android-based automation technology will allow a person to have real-time direct access to the system's current data from anywhere, anytime, and to be able to influence the system using a smartphone. The main purpose of the work is to develop a system for automation of the heating well and the application on the Android platform to control and adjust the system parameters. Применение Android-технологий в сфере автоматизации позволит человеку иметь прямой доступ в режиме реального времени к текущим данных системы с любого места и в любое время, а также иметь возможность влиять на систему используя смартфон. Главной целью работы является разработка системы автоматизации нагревательного колодца и приложения на платформе Android для контроля и регулирования параметров системы.

Aplikacija koja je opisana u ovom radu je mobilna aplikacija. Što se tiče izrade i biranja platforme ili sustava na kojoj/em će raditi precizno je izabrano kako bi osvojila ciljane korisnike. Korisnici koji će koristiti ovu aplikaciju su upravo ljudi koji svoje pametne telefone ne ispuštaju iz ruku i žele da im je sve „blizu“, odnosno na jednome mjestu – pametnom telefonu. Aplikacija se bazira na javni gradski prijevoz i omogućava korisniku da pronađe točno onu liniju (rutu) koja ga vodi do njegove ciljne točke. Osim što nudi popis svih linija kojima autobusi prometuju, korisnik može provjeriti i cijene za pojedinu liniju kako ne bi došlo do konfuzija prilikom polaska, odnosno dolaska na odredište. The application described in this documentation is a mobile application. In terms of designing and selecting the platform or system on which it will work, it has been carefully selected to get to targeted users. The users who will use this application are they who want everything to be on their Smartphones. The application is based on public transport and allows the user to find exactly the line (route) that leads him to his destination. In addition to providing a list of all bus routes, the user can also check the prices for each line to avoid any confusion on departure or arrival at the destination.

Мета роботи — розробка Android-додатку спеціалізованого Інтернет-сервісу “Відкритий спортмайданчик з е-сервісами”. Досліджено особливості подібних систем та аналогів. Для створення нативного мобільного додатку використано Android SDK та мову програмування Kotlin. При розробки було використано середовище розробки Android Studio та систему автоматичної збірки проектів Gradle. Записка містить 81 сторінок, 28 рисунків, 2 таблиці, 3 додатки і 11 посилань. The purpose of the work is to development of Android-application of specialized Internet service Open sports ground with e-services;. The features of such systems and analogues are investigated. To create a native mobile application, the Android SDK and the Kotlin programming language are used. For development, the Android Studio development environment and the gradle Gradle system have been used. The note contains 81 pages, 28 figures, 2 tables, 3 attachments and 11 links. Цель работы - разработка Android-приложения специализированного Интернет-сервиса "Открытый спортплощадка с е-сервисами». Исследованы особенности подобных систем и аналогов. Для создания нативного мобильного приложения использовано Android SDK и язык программирования Kotlin. При разработке были использованы среда разработки Android Studio и систему автоматической сборки проектов Gradle.

Mestrado em Engenharia de Computadores e Telemática Mobile network operators use dedicated equipment (probes) to obtain performance, QoS and QoE metrics for their networks and services. This project aims to develop an Android application with probing features, not only complementing the dedicated equipment in the collection of information regarding performance, QoS and QoE, but also detecting problems in the network and its services automatically in mobile network commercial terminal and providing customer test tools and support for faster troubleshooting. Os operadores de redes móveis recorrem a equipamentos dedicados (sondas) para obtenção de métricas relativas ao desempenho, QoS e QoE das suas redes e serviços. Pretende-se desenvolver uma aplicação Android com funcionalidades de sonda, não só complementando os equipamentos dedicados na recolha de informação relativa ao desempenho, QoS e QoE, como também detetando automaticamente problemas ao nível da rede e dos seus serviços no próprio terminal do cliente final, disponibilizando ferramentas de teste e suporte para uma resolução de problemas mais rápida e eficaz.

U ovome radu promatra se i optimizira naˇcin posluživanja unutar uslužnih djelatnosti. Temeljem analize problema zakljuˇceno je da Android aplikacija najbolje odgovara zahtjevima. Za izradu same aplikacije koristi se Android Studio okruženje i Genymotion emulator na kojem su izvod¯ena testiranja. Cilj ovog rada izrada je Android aplikacije za upravljanje traženjem usluga u ugostiteljskom objektu. Aplikacija koja je izrad¯ena služi kao serverska aplikacija koja komunicira sa nezavisno razvijenom klijentskom aplikacijom. ServeMe aplikacija preko utiˇcnica (engl. socket-a) prima narudžbe gostiju poslane preko klijentske aplikacije, obrad¯uje podatke te ih prikazuje osoblju lokala. In this paper it is observed and optimized way to serve in the service sector. Based on the analysis of the problem, it was concluded that an Android application best suits the requirements. Android Studio environment is used to create the application combined with Genymotion emulator where testing of the application is performed. The aim of this work is making Android apps for managing search services in a restaurant. The application that is made serves as a server application that communicates with the independently developed client application. ServeMe application via socket receives orders sent from guests through the client application, processes data and displays them on the staff of the establishment.

V diplomskem delu je predstavljena bluetooth komunikacija med pametnim avtomobilom MINDCar, sestavljenim iz Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0 in pametnim telefonom z operacijskim sistemom Android. Program za krmilno enoto NXT je realiziran v programskem jeziku leJOS, aplikacija za pametni telefon pa s pomočjo Android SDK. Oba temeljita na objektno orientiranem programskem jeziku Java. Na kratko je predstavljena tudi uporabljena programska oprema. Na koncu diplomske naloge je opisan algoritem samodejnega bočnega parkiranja, ki je sestavljen iz iskanja prostega parkirnega mesta in parkiranja. The thesis discusses the bluetooth communication betwen a smartcar MINDCar compounded of Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0 and a smart phone wtih the operating system Android. The programme for the NXT has been implemented by a programming language leJOS and the apllication for the smart phone with the Android SDK. Both of them are based on an object orianted programing language Java. The programming equipment is also briefly presented. The thesis describes the algorithm that is used for the parallel parking which consits of finding a free parking space and parking in it.

U ovom radu izrađena je aplikacija za brzo dogovaranje sastanaka pametnim telefonima s operacijskim sustavom Android. Za komunikaciju i predlaganje sastanaka koristi se vanjska komponenta za razmjenu poruka i informacija o prisutnosti protokolom XMPP. Pri dogovaranju sastanaka, na osnovu informacija o prisutnosti, filtriraju se potencijalni sudionici. Na osnovu lokacijske informacije omogućeno je automatsko mijenjanje informacija o prisutnosti korisnika. Za izradu aplikacije proučeni su operacijski Android te glavne značajke protokola XMPP. The result of this paper is a smartphone application for quick arrangement of meetings for Android mobile devices. In order to exchange messages and presence with other users, an external XMPP (Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol) component was used. In order to arrange meetings, application filters potential meeting participants by their presence and automatically updates their location information. Android operating system and XMPP protocol were studied in purpose of understanding technologies needed for the application implementation.

U radu je izrađena i opisana komponenta za razmjenu poruka i informacija o prisutnosti na uređajima s operacijskim sustavom Android. Radi ispravnog oblikovanja, programske izvedbe i testiranja aplikacije, analiziran je protokol XMPP na kojem se komponenta temelji. Komponenta direktno komunicira s poslužiteljem Openfire temeljenim na protokolu XMPP. Ovaj način komunikacije uspoređen je s posrednom komunikacijom preko poslužitelja GCM-CSS. Objašnjena je instalacija i podešavanje poslužitelja Openfire koji je povezan s komponentom. Komponenta je na kraju ugrađena u testnu aplikaciju pomoću koje je testirana njena ispravnost pri radu. A messaging and presence information sharing component for Android devices was implemented in this paper. XMPP protocol, on which the component is based, is analized in order to design and test the component correctly. The component communicates directly with XMPP Openfire server. This way of communication is compared to intermediate way of communicating using the GCM-CSS server. Openfire was connected to the component, and its installation and configuration are explained in the paper. Finally, the component was built in a test application which was used to test the components behaviour.

With the continuing growth of mobile phones outpacing that of desktops and laptops, mobile phones are the new personal computer. These devices started becoming increasingly sophisticated and extremely powerful. In addition to making phone calls it have the capabilities to perform variety functions, one of the most important functions using it as a classroom tool. However, mobile phone applications must be designed and developed with respect to different technologies skills, learning capabilities and language proficiency in order to be accepted by wide audiences (e.g., students, instructors). However, there is much work that has been done to measure the quality of mobile applications, and there are many researchers attempting to figure out the most important reasons that make those applications fail. In this paper, we discuss the design issues of mobile learning specifically the usability and its sub- characteristics, by considering a case study based on our proposed framework. It concludes by introducing and discussing the results that were obtained, and also some suggestions are given to enhance the quality aspects of mobile learning.

Esminis šio darbo siekis yra išanalizuoti „Android“ operacinės sistemos (OS) programų kūrimo įrankių galimybes. Remiantis darbo rezultatais, matome, kad ši OS uţima daugiausiai rinkos pagal pardavimus. Taip pat yra įţvelgiama, kad pasirinktas programavimo įrankių komplektas (Android SDK) nėra iki galo išdirbtas programų kūrimui, tačiau nelabai yra iš ko rinktis, kadangi alternatyvios programavimo aplinkos reikalauja jos įdiegimo. Reikia pridurti, kad testavimui yra būtina naudoti realius fizinius įrenginius. Taip pat norėtųsi paminėti, kad šiai OS buvo rastas tik vienas programinis įrankis (FuturEye), skirtas šilumos pernešimo uţdaviniams spręsti. The main purpose of this work is to make an analysis of abilities of tools for development of Android operating system programs. In the view of the work results, we can conclude, that this OS has the biggest part of the market share by sales. Also we can see, that we are left with only one choice for development tools (Android SDK) of Android programs, because all other programming environments require that Android SDK must be installed. For a more accurate programming results, one should test applications on real devices. In addition, we should say, that only one programming tool (FuturEye) was found for heat transfer problems evaluation.

Kako bi se ostvarila komunikacija Android mobilnih uređaja i bežičnih mreža osjetila bilo je potrebno razviti programsku podršku za Android sustav. Programska podrška je izrađena u obliku biblioteke koja preko jednostavnog sučelja omogučuje korisniku biblioteke mogućnost komunikacije sa bežičnom mrežom osjetila. Uređaji koji predstavljaju bežičnu mrežu osjetila su uređaji s operacijskim sustavom otvorenog koda TinyOS. Za uspješno ostvarenje programske podrške bilo je potrebno riješiti probleme oko čitanja i slanja paketa na serijsku (USB) vezu s uređajem s TinyOS operacijskim sustavom. Kod slanja, problemi su uključivali formiranje pravilnog oblika paketa kako bi paketi bili prihvaćeni od strane TinyOS uređaja. Kod čitanja paketatrebalo je osigurati pristizanje cjelovitih paketa i odstraniti zaglavlja koja ne pripadaju korisnom sadržaju paketa. Programska podrška je izrađena pomoću biblioteke otvorenog koda usb-serial-for-android i Android USB Host API koji pripada Android SDK.

V okviru diplomske naloge smo izdelali mobilno aplikacijo na operacijskem sistemu Android OS za upravljanje slik in albumov. V teoretičnem delu smo najprej predstavili že obstoječe podobne aplikacije. Nato smo se seznanili z arhitekturo operacijskega sistema Android OS in s kompletom za razvijanje aplikacij Android SDK. V nadaljevanju sledi še predstavitev lokacijskega podsistema Google Map ter podrobnejši opis uporabljenih funkcionalnosti. V praktičnem delu prikažemo implementacijo aplikacije za upravljanje slik in albumov. Sledi opis pridobljenih rezultatov in sklep. A mobile application which works on the Android OS operating system for photo and album management was built in this dissertation. In the theoretical part, the already available similar applications are presented. Then we studied the structure of the Android OS operating system and the Android SDK application development tool. The presentation of the location subsystem Google Map and a detailed description of its functions are also presented. In the practical part, the implementation of the photo album application is presented. The bachelor thesis ends with a presentation of results and conclusion.
