Taking population, geographical environment and status of the power grid business halls as the starting point. We establish the layout rationality evaluation index system of power grid business halls by decomposing and refining the indicator factor layer by layer. The index system consists of 3 major elements and 16 factors. According to the layout rationality evaluation indicator system, the analytic hierarchy process is applied to construct the layout rationality evaluation model of power grid business halls. On the basis of expert consultation and field investigation, the layout rationality of the power grid business halls in Jiangxi and Chongqing was evaluated, and the layout rationality of power grid business halls in this area is defined as 4 levels. This study can provide strong theoretical and technical support for the layout optimization of power grid business halls.
