We study $C^*$-algebras arising from $C^*$-correspondences, which was introduced by the author. We prove the gauge-invariant uniqueness theorem, and obtain conditions for our $C^*$-algebras to be nuclear, exact, or satisfy the Universal Coefficient Theorem. Sensitive dependence on initial conditions is widely understood as being the central idea of chaos. We first give sufficient conditions (both topological and ergodic) on an endomorphism to ensure the sensitivity property. Then, a strong sensitivity concept is introduced. Sufficient conditions on a transformation implying strong sensitivity are given. We also provide bounds for the strong sensitivity constant.

This paper presents a method of equilibrium that calculates the deflection of certain space frames in an exact manner, without needing to solve equation systems. For this purpose, the unknown quantity of the deflection is considered to be a combination of other partial deflections that can be immediately determined and that are subject to some partial conditions of the loads, the addition of which constitutes the load conditions of the problem. The procedure to calculate the partial conditions of the loads considers the hypotheses of manual calculations. An example is carried out to complete this exposition.

The purpose of this paper was to present the exact analysis of variance with unequal variances. Bishop presented the new procedure for the r-way layout ANOVA. In this paper, one and two way layout ANOVA were explained and Bishop's method and Standard method were compared by using a Monte Carlo method.
