Abstract

The article focuses on the development of a new material for protecting soldiers, aircrafts and spacecrafts in the U.S. The material was created by researchers at the Institute for Soldier Nanotechnologies. The material can be used to prepare lightweight armor for soldiers. The researchers used a light-sensitive epoxy resin mixed with an organic solvent for preparing the material.
