Abstract

Old adults find it difficult to navigate in large complexes that have 'You-Are-Here' (YAH) boards that are not properly aligned when compared to simple boards. Women were slow and inefficient in comprehending and navigating according to the directions in the YAH boards. It is essential to align YAH boards in a simple manner to enable youngsters and adults to follow it with ease.
