The article discusses a cross sectional study which examines the prevalence and risk factors of metabolic syndrome among the adult population in Saudi Arabia. The study used anthropometric measurements, statistics and laboratory data to evaluate subjects with metabolic syndrome. Results show that Saudi adult population has obtained a high prevalence of metabolic problem and needs an urgent execution of health care strategies to control borth mortality and morbidity.
