Abstract

This paper presents hydrogeological conditions in coastal area of Rijeka, which have changed considerably over the last 150 years, since development of the city and spreading of the port began. We analyzed risks caused by planned constructions and long-term impact of expected sea-level rise on hydrogeological conditions and groundwater flow dynamic.
