During last decade the learning environment of students has been changed. Hence, the conventional teaching methodology is not enough for 21st century learners. Keeping this in view, making them efficient and globally competitive graduates, the learning environment has to be changed by adopting new teaching pedagogies. To address this, we introduced Active Learning and Problem-Based Learning in mechatronics course. In this course the students are more exposed to hands-on experience rather than conventional chalk and talk so that it helps them to solve engineering problems. This course will improve the skills of our next generation engineers in the fields of innovation, creativity with entrepreneurial-mindset. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
