In the article, the authors discuss their 2020 retrospective study to assess the effect of telerheumatology and the pandemic on the care of rheumatology patients in a tertiary outpatient service in Melbourne, Victoria. Among the conditions reviewed in the research are fibromyalgia, systemic lupus erythematosus, and rheumatoid arthritis. Also cited are the use of univariate analysis and Mann-Whitney U-test in the study, and the possible negative effects of telerheumatology.
