Abstract

The article discusses a study related to assessment of efficacy and safety of topical timolol treatment of infantile haemangioma (IH) and determining occurrence of systemic absorption. Topics discussed include no significant relationship between significant response to treatment and blood level, gestational age or birth weight, different plasma level on the face than from the scalp and scalp may be a high-risk area for systemic absorption leading to increased vascularity of the scalp.
