Abstract

We report a case of a man with chronic hepatitis C (HCV) and previous hepatitis B infection who developed severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 pneumonia. Treatment with remdesivir lowered HCV viral load, followed by a rebound after its discontinuation. Concomitant treatment with tocilizumab possibly contributed to loss of Anti-HBs.
