Praseodymium-containing double perovskites (Ba1-xSrx)2PrRuO6 were prepared. They crystallize in a monoclinic structure with space group P21/n in the range of 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.30. Magnetic susceptibility measurements show that all these (Ba1-xSrx)2PrRuO6 compounds order an antiferromagnetic transition at 95 ≤ T ≤ 117 K, and the Neel temperatures decrease with increasing Sr concentration (x value). Specific heat measurements and the magnetic entropy change for (Ba1-xSrx)2PrRuO6 also reveal the simultaneous magnetic ordering of Pr and Ru ions.
