【Objective】 The present paper was to study the effects of different concentrations of cryoprotectants on the sperm motility，life-span and movement time of Acipenser dabryanus. 【Method】 Six kinds cryoprotectants of 4 %Methanol，8 % Ethyleneglycol，12 % Propanediol，6 % Glycerol，20 % N，N-Dimethylformamide and 24 % Dimethyl sulfoxide were respectively conducted with sperm diluents (0.7% NaCl+ 0. 02 % KCl+3.5% Glu)，and the sperm by cryoprotectants was preserved 16 hours at 4 1 and activated. 【Result】 The sperm of Acipenser dabryanus had sperm motility and life-span with 4 % - 24 % cryoprotectant (Glycerol， N，N-Dimethylformamide and Dimethyl Sulfoxide) and 4 % -16 % cryoprotectant( Methanol，Ethyleneglycol and Propanediol) ，but the all spermwas died with 20 % - 24 % cryoprotectant ( Methanol，Ethyleneglycol and Propanediol) . The sperm motility was 82 % ，32 % ，76 % ，64 % ，72 % and 67 % ，respectively when 8 % Methanol，8 % Ethyleneglycol，12 % Propanediol，4 % Glycerol，4 % N，N-Dimethylformamide and 8 % Dimethyl sulfoxide were applied， The drastic movement time and life-span of the sperm were the longest and respectively achieved 42 and 205 s，16 and 123 s，36 and 127 s，25 and 96 s，27 and 132 s，25 and 103 s. As compared with other cryoprotectants，the drastic movement time and life-span of the sperm were the longest and respectively achieved 42 and 205 s with 8 % Methanol. 【Conclusion】 Six kinds of cryoprotectants could produce toxicity on the sperm，and the motility and life-span of the sperm could be reduced after preserved by these cryoprotectants.
