1. Trend and challenges of study on artistic activities of person with disability : From a perspective of cultural resources for the cohesive society

PDF, 要旨 本研究は、知的障害者の造形活動に関する先行研究をレビューし、社会福祉、障害者福祉の視座から、今後の実践に資する研究のあり方を明示することを目的とする。先行研究を「制作物等の呼称」、「日本における活動の歴史的経緯」、「活動・制作物と機能障害」、「活動の社会的意義」、「芸術との関係」の５つのトピックに分類し検討した結果、本活動の根底には障害者福祉実践に内在化していた問題を是正しようとする動きがあり、その手がかりが当事者の芸術活動を介しての声にあること、さらに、芸術はその制作者が属する文化、コミュニティの声であり、それらを読み取り他の文化と共有できる形に変換し、社会全体の状況改善につなげる作業を含めて芸術活動を捉えることが、障害者福祉、社会福祉の視座において重要であると考えた。そして、共生社会の形成にあっては、コミュニティ間の対話を実現するための文化資源として本活動を位置づける研究が求められることを示した。, The objective of this study is to demonstrate the way of study which contribute to a future actual practice by reviewing earlier studies on artistic activities of person with intellectual disability in view of social welfare and welfare for the disabled. Earlier studies are categorized into ５ topics; naming of the work, the historical background of the activity in Japan, the relation between the activity or the work and impairment, the relation between the activity and the social significance or the arts, then examined. The result indicates the movement of correcting internalized problem of the actual practice of welfare for the disabled underlies this activity, and that clue of the correction is in voice of the person concerned via the art work. The art work is the voice of the culture and the community of which its creator belong to. I consider that detecting and translating those voices to share with other cultures and recognizing the art activity including as the work of connecting to the improved situation of entire society are important in view of social welfare and welfare for the disabled. In addition, for the forming of a cohesive society, this study shows the need of study which considers this activity as cultural resources for the dialogue between communities.
