- Abstract
Objective Analysis of the establishment of a set of operational performance appraisal program, observation and analysis of its application to strengthening the management of nursing. Methods With key indicators, questionnaire survey and expert consultation, performance appraisal implementation plan was established, and the satisfaction degree of nursing staff and of doctors with nursing staff before and after the implementation plan were compared. Results After the implementation of the program,the satisfaction scores of the nursing staff in the evaluation of merit,promotion,scheduling,performance distribution,retention intention and comprehensive satisfaction were significantly improved ( P<0.05) . At the same time,after the implementation of the program,the satisfaction score of doctors was significantly improved in nursing staff's emergency response ability,communication,responsibility,implementation of medical treatment and comprehensive satisfaction (PP <0.05) . Comprehensive satisfaction degree of nursing staff with themselves and of doctors with the nursing staff has improved from82.18%and 83.55%before implementation to 97.02%and 99.05%after implementation. Conclusion Implementation of nursing performance evaluation program standardized nursing management, and thus improved the management level, and promoted nursing quality. As doctors' and patients' satisfaction with nursing staff improved, nursing staff greatly improved their working initiative,enthusiasm and creativity.
