- Abstract
In order to analyze the spatio-temporal changes in ecological environment quality and its influencing factors of the Lijiang River basin, the remote sensing ecological index (RSEI) was constructed by using Landsat 8 OLI/ TIRS imagery based on Google Earth Engine (GEE). The results show that the ecological environment quality is generally above the average of the Lijiang River basin. The ecological environment quality of woodland is at the excellent level, and the grassland is good, whereas that of the construction land and cultivated land is found to be poor of the Lijiang River Basin. The ecological environment quality of the Lijiang River basin is exhibited a strong spatial auto-correlation with a clustered distribution pattern, and mainly manifested as high-high, low-low, and insignificant clustering. The ecological environment quality of the Lijiang River Basin is positively impacted by greenness and humidity, and negatively impacted by dryness and heat. The impact of land use and cover change is far greater than that of natural factors ( i. e., precipitation) on the ecological environment quality of the Lijiang River Basin. It is concluded that the ecological environment quality and its protection of the Lijiang River basin is contributed a significant role in achieving regional sustainable development goals in Guilin.
