In today’s socio-economic conditions, university graduates are disoriented in the labor market. On the one hand, graduates do not have enough knowledge about the real requirements of the labor market as to the level and quality of training of young professionals, and on the other hand, their own assessment of their skills and professional ideas is not adequate. This fact is due to some isolation of higher education from the real requirements of the labor market, including the lack of mechanisms for the job assignment of university graduates, as well as institutions of employment and career of young people. Thus, the relevance of the study is due to the existence of the problem of adaptation of young people in the labor market, which requires improvement, and is enhanced by the fact that it has a practical orientation. The materials of the work can be used in subsequent research of the youth segment of the labor market, as well as in the preparation of textbooks and for university courses on the basics of employment technologies and effective behavior of young people in the labor market. The urgency of the problem of effective youth employment and regulation of the youth segment of the labor market in the conditions of reforming of the economy has determined the choice of the objectives of the study, which are to investigate the opinions of graduates regarding their employment prospects and the need to provide them with more effective assistance by the University in order to increase the adaptive capacity and employment. Analysis of the empirical material obtained by the method of questionnaire survey in the study of the opinion of students aged 20 to 21 years at Ural Federal University in Yekaterinburg showed that University graduates demonstrate an increased level of anxiety when faced with difficulties in finding a future job and employment, not having the appropriate skills of behavior in the labor market and technologies of job search and employment. The university should pay special attention to the promotion of employment and adaptation to the labor market of its graduates. В современных социально-экономических условиях выпускники вузов оказываются дезориентированными на рынке труда. С одной стороны, у выпускников недостаточно знаний о реальных требованиях рынка труда к уровню и качеству подготовки молодых специалистов, а с другой – собственная оценка своих умений, навыков и профессиональных представлений не адекватной. Это обстоятельство обусловлено некоторой обособленностью высшего образования от реальных запросов рынка труда, том числе отсутствием механизмов распределения выпускников вузов по организациям, а также институтов трудоустройства и карьеры молодежи. Таким образом, актуальность исследования обусловлена существованием проблемы адаптации молодежи на рынке труда, требующей совершенствования, и усиливается тем, что она имеет практическую направленность. Материалы работы могут быть использованы в последующих научных исследованиях молодежного сегмента рынка труда, а также при подготовке учебных пособий и чтении учебных курсов в вузах по основам технологий трудоустройства и эффективному поведению молодежи на рынке труда. Актуальность проблемы эффективной занятости молодежи и регулирования молодежного сегмента рынка труда в условиях реформирования экономики определили выбор цели исследования, которая состояла в изучении мнения выпускников относительно собственных перспектив трудоустройства и необходимости оказания им более эффективной помощи со стороны вуза в вопросах повышения адаптационных возможностей и занятости. Анализ эмпирического материала, полученного с помощью метода анкетного опроса в ходе изучения мнения студенческой молодежи в возрасте от 20 до 21 года на базе УрФУ в г. Екатеринбурге, показал: выпускники вуза демонстрируют повышенный уровень тревожности, сталкиваясь с трудностями в период поиска будущего места работы и трудоустройства, не обладая соответствующими навыками поведения на рынке труда и технологиями поиска и трудоустройства; вузу необходимо уделять особое внимание вопросам содействия трудоустройству и адаптации на рынке труда выпускников.
