В статье рассматривается влияние художественной литературы на формирование образа полицейского. The present study is devoted to the analysis of the influence of fiction on the formation of the image of a policeman. The urgency of the study consists in the fact that conflictogeneity and aggressiveness of the modern world bring about the growing significance of the law enforcement officers, turn this profession into one of the central occupations in the Russian society, and suggest a wide range of expectations from the representatives of the law enforcement agencies.

В статье рассматриваются версии "механических" людей в творчестве А. Платонова, прослеживается их происхождение и последующий процесс развития. The article examines the versions of "mechanical" people in the works of A. Platonov and traces their origin and subsequent process of development. The methodological basis of the study is made up by the works interpreting Platonov's creative activity from the positions of the following scientific approaches: the contextualapproach (M. M. Bakhtin, V. E. Khalizev), according to which meanings generated by extra-textual reality are important for this research and the motif-centered approach (B. M. Gasparov, M. Ya. Polyakov), based on the principle of leitmotif narrative composition.

Бульвера-Литтона, ставшее объектом творческой рефлексии русского писателя. The article deals with Ivan Turgenev's attitude to English Literature. The focus of the study is on the comic play of Edward Bulwer-Lytton, which became the object of the Russian writer's reflection in 1840s, firstly, as a reader and later as a creator.

The object of the study includes two texts - Dostoevsky's novel “Poor Folk”, the central novel in the Russian literature of the 1840s, and Turgenev's comedy “The Bachelor”.

В статье на примере книги В. М. Дорошевича рассматриваются два разных мира на Сахалине конца XIX века: с одной стороны, мир каторжан и поселенцев, а с другой - мир администрации тюрем. The article presents the results of a study of a doctor's speech portrait in the book "Sakhalin" by V. M. Doroshevich. Penal servitude discourse functions in the book as one of the variants of political discourse, which is usually controlled by the authorities. Doroshevich shows two different worlds on Sakhalin at the end of the 19th century: the world of convicts and settlers on the one hand, and the world of prison administration and the island authorities that opposes them, on the other.

Akunin'sAkunin's series of detective novels often referred to as Fandorin cycle, portrayed in the last underresearched novels All the World's a Stage, The Black City and Not Saying Goodbye. A review of the studies of literary criticism and academic research on Akunin's work has revealed that the basic principles of his poetics include intertextuality and the use of gamebased strategies.

The aim of the work is to show that the artistic form of this novel is intended to present the author's philosophical idea ofcreating a new art and a new science through their synthesis.

The article deals with the story “White Mazurka” by the writer of the Eastern emigration Boris Yulsky. Yulsky’s creative work is usually associated with Chinese traditions, highlighting the oriental line which permeates his prose. However, in the vein of classical Russian literature, Yulsky created two works which refer the reader to the mid 19th century and bring them back to the world of noble manors and Pyatigorsk resorts. These are “Lermontov’s” short story “The Moon over Beshtau” and the story “White Mazurka”. The urgency of the study consists in identifying Bunin’s themes in Yulsky’s prose on the example of his story “White Mazurka” and in discovering the position of the artist who wrote his works in the middle of the 20th century. The research methods rest on the historico-literary, phenomenological, typological and comparative approaches and are based on the works of researchers of the poetics of the Eastern emigration and specialists in Bunin’s creative activity. The purpose of the study is to show that the story “White Mazurka” does not only demonstrate the reception of the noble Russia in the new century and new (eastern) space, but is also a reference to the short story written two years earlier by I. A. Bunin – “Natalie” from the collection “Dark Alleys”. The motives and the elements of the plot of Bunin’s short story and Yulsky’s story have a certain similarity: the arrival of a young relative at a noble manor, the meeting with the main female character, the characters’ ambivalent love – carnal and sublime, the ball scenes which became mainstream in both texts, the separation, and the tragic finale. At the same time, “White Mazurka” also echoes other short stories from “Dark Alleys” (“Tanya”, “Zoyka and Valeria”) and even kind of anticipates the “Clean Monday” of 1944. Conclusions. The “parody” of the 19th century turns into the creation of a new text in Yulsky’s story, which, on the one hand, combines the motives of classical literature, and on the other, shows how Bunin’s background forms the position of the 20th century modernist, who creates a multi-layered narrative space joining the tradition and its transfiguration in new forms.

Достоевского "Братья Карамазовы". The article examines the intertextual constituent of the short story by I. A. Bunin "The Case of the Cornet Elagin". It is shown that Bunin's short story seems to lead a dialogue with the novel by F. M. Dostoevsky "The Karamazov Brothers".

The article proposes to correct the idea of the "Goncharov school" in Turgenev's practice and determine the boundaries and degree of influence of Goncharov's novel ideas on Turgenev's novels. It is shown that by the time of close ommunicationbetween the two writers in 1855, Turgenev was not disoriented as a novelist.

В статье рассматривается как бытовое время в календарной хронологии романа "Преступление и наказание" претворяется в качественное духовное бытие. Applying the method of Orthodox axeology, the present work tries to answer the following question: how the everyday time (chronos) in the calendar chronology of the novel "Crime and Punishment" is transformed into a qualitative spiritual being (kairos). The possibility of changing the ideological discourse in Dostoevsky's work frompagan to Christian through the influence of the hagiographic corps of Cheti Minei is studied. It is shown how the biographical texts, intended for reading on a specific date, coinciding with the calendar time from the development of the novel plot, influence the change of thoughts and actions of a given character and explain the inner meaning of the event.

С опорой на выявленные В. Н. Топоровым параметры и функции петербургского текста в статье предпринята попытка анализа "акмеистского" варианта мифа о Петербурге в новелле Г. В. Иванова "Трость Бирона". Рассматривается историческая основа, на которой создает свой образ Г. В. Иванов. Выявляются ключевые образы, которые автор вводит в свой текст с целью раскрытия идеи эсхатологичности и инфернальности Петербурга. Носителем злого начала, идущего из прошлого, становится в новелле образ Бирона, приобретающий демонические черты в духе готической традиции. Отмечается внимание писателя к предметному миру, старинные вещи показаны как артефакты, хранящие память культуры. Описания деталей одежды, интерьера антикварной лавки и жилища Симона, архитектурных примет центра Петербурга создают образ города-музея. Призрак Бирона символизирует то зло, которое, не проявляясь открыто, продолжает тяготеть над душами людей. Трость вновь и вновь находит хозяина-жертву. Такая повторяемость злого промысла выражает ощущение близкого заката былой петербургской эпохи и ее культуры., The article focuses on the originality of interpretation of "the Petersburgian myth" in G. Ivanov's short story "Biron's cane". Features of "the Petersburgian hypertext" in Russian literature are described based on V. N. Toporov's researches. Drawing on these features, we have prepared an analysis of Duke Biron's image in the short story and estimated it against the context of "the Petersburgian myth". We have also analyzed the short story's chronotope and correlate it to the historical background and traditions of "the Petersburgian hypertext" in Russian literature. The article identifies key images the author utilizes in the text in order to develop the topic of the eschatological and infernal Petersburg. As the result of the research, we have identified special features of "the Petersburgian myth's" interpretation in the short story "Biron's cane", connected to cultural, historical and social contexts of Saint Petersburg., Уральский филологический вестник, Issue № 3, Pages 80-95

В статье рассмотрены цитаты (аллюзии, реминисценции) из произведений Б. Пастернака, которые составляют интертекстуальную основу рассказа М. Шишкина "Гул затих…". Цель работы - определить функцию пастернаковского слоя в рассказе: показать "приращение" смысла, обусловленного интенсивным обращением к творчеству поэта. В результате наблюдений над интертекстом был выявлен ключевой мотив рассказа - мотив воскрешения в слове; показано его сюжетообразующее и хронотопическое значение. Семантика этого мотива проявлена прежде всего отсылами к стихотворениям Б. Пастернака "Гамлет" и "Гефсиманский сад". Их анализ позволяет увидеть оправданность жизненного выбора, который делает автобиографический герой., The article considers quotations (allusions, reminiscences) from the works of B. Pasternak, which form the intertextual basis of the story by M. Shishkin "The Hum quieted down…", the purpose of the work is to determine the function of the Pasternak's layer in the story: to show the “increment” of meaning due to the intensive appeal to the poet's work. As a result of observations on the intertext, the key motif of the story was revealed - the motif of resurrection in the word; its plot-forming and chronotopic meaning is shown. The semantics of this motif is shown primarily by references to the poems of B. Pasternak's "Hamlet" and "The garden of Gethsemane". В статье рассматривается символика образа главной героини повести Ильи Прозорова сквозь призму аналитической психологии. Тhe study explores the symbolic interpretation of the image of the main female character of the novel from the perspective of analytical psychology.

The article presents an analysis of the functions of the literary landscape and the literary interior in the short story "Tanya" by I. A. Bunin. Particular attention is paid to the issue of the elaboration of the concepts of "landscape" and "interior" in Russian literary criticism. In link with this problem, studies of the peculiarities of the writer's art world are taken into account. It also seems appropriate to refer to the mythopoetic of some details of both the landscape and interior. The landscapes in the story are characterized by a psychological function: these are associated with the inner state of the protagonist. Interiors often fulfill a decorative and characterological function - these aims to create the image of a landlord's house, tells about the patriarchy and belonging to its mistress noble culture. Moreover, the noble estate is thought of as a single space, suggesting the fusion of a house and a garden, therefore, it is proposed to analyze the landscape and interior as a complex. This approach helps to reveal the mythologemes of the hearth and the Garden of Eden in the story. В статье представлен анализ функций литературного пейзажа и литературного интерьера в рассказе И. А. Бунина "Таня". Особое внимание уделяется вопросу разработанности понятий "пейзаж" и "интерьер" в отечественном литературоведении. В связи с этой проблемой учитываются исследования особенностей художественного мира писателя. Также представляется целесообразным обращение к мифопоэтике некоторых деталей пейзажа и интерьера. Для пейзажей в рассказе характерна психологическая функция: они сопряжены с внутренним состоянием главного героя. Интерьеры часто выполняют декоративную и характерологическую функцию - помогают создать образ помещичьего дома, рассказать о патриархальности и принадлежности к дворянской культуре его хозяйки. Причём дворянская усадьба мыслится как единое пространство, предполагающее слитность дома и сада, поэтому пейзаж и интерьер предлагается анализировать в комплексе. Такой подход помогает выявить в рассказе мифологемы домашнего очага и райского сада.

Цветаевой "Ледяная тиара гор"., The article is devoted to the analysis of the role of archetypes and symbols in the formation of the text matrix based on the example of literary fairy tale texts united by a common story line under the conditional name “Girl and the Beast” and published by different authors at different times and in different languages, and also on the example of the poem by M. Tsvetaeva “The Ice Tiara of the Mountains”. In particular, two well-known texts of fairy tales are compared: “The Scarlet Flower” by S. T. Aksakova - the eastern version of the plot - and “Beauty and the Beast” by Jeanne-Marie Le Prens de Beaumont - the western version of the plot. The symbolic poem by M. На материале малой прозы И. С. Тургенева («Сон», «Песнь торжествующей любви», «Клара Милич») и В. О. Пелевина («Спи», «Синий фонарь», «Созерцатель тени») рассматривается проблема трансформации концепции и способов воплощения сновидческих состояний, анализируются изменения функции сна и сновидений в классической и постклассической литературе. В классической литературе под онейрическим текстом понимается словесное изложение сновидения персонажей или автора в художественном произведении. В таинственных рассказах и повестях И. С. Тургенева мы имеем дело с вербальным воссозданием сна как пограничного состояния героя, прикосновения к инобытию, как способа погружения в иррациональную область человеческой психики. Онейропоэтика и фантастика в поздних произведениях Тургенева направлены на открытие непознанного в человеческой психике и связаны с вечными проблемами любви и смерти, поиском истины, обретением целостности художественно-философского мира. В эпоху постмодерна сны становятся одним из наиболее распространенных способов конструирования текста и служат передаче представления о тотальной виртуализации реальности. Современный автор не ставит задачу описывать сны, он создает текст по логике сна. Между тем художественной рефлексии в рассказах Пелевина подвергаются те же вечные вопросы, что и в классической литературе: истина и ложь, добро и зло, поиск смысла жизни, свобода и вера. Диалог писателя-постмодерниста с классиком строится на понимании нераздельности чувственного и сверхчувственного, противоречия между которыми могут быть сняты в акте художественного исследования тайн человеческой психики. Писатель рубежной эпохи говорит с современниками о человеческом сознании, попавшем в ловушку, потому что практических методов «снятия оков разума» не существует, но остается способность к трансценденции, к самореализации в творимых сознанием мирах. Сновидения у В. О. Пелевина зачастую становятся формой проявления эзотерического сознания и мистического откровения., Based on the material of short prose by I. S. Turgenev (“The Dream”, “The Song of Triumphant Love”, “Klara Milich”) and V. O. Pelevin (“Go to Sleep”, “The Blue Lantern”, “The Contemplator of the Shadow”), the article deals with the problem of transformation of conception and the ways of implementation of dream states. It also analyzes the change in the function of sleep and dreams in classical and post-classical literature. In classical literature, oneiric text is defined as a verbal presentation of a dream of a character or the author in a work of fiction. In mystery short stories and novellas by Turgenev, we are dealing with the verbal recreation of sleep as a borderline state of the character, as an experience of a different kind of existence, and as a way of immersion in the irrational region of the human psyche. Turgenev’s oneiropoetics and science fiction are aimed at discovering the unknown in the human psyche and are associated with the eternal problems of love and death, search for the truth, and the achievement of integrity of the artistic-philosophical world. In the postmodern era, dreams become one of the most common ways of text constructing and serve to convey the idea of total virtualization of reality. The modern author does not set the task to describe dreams; they create a text according to the logic of the dream. Meanwhile, the same eternal questions as in classical literature are subject to artistic reflection in Pelevin’s stories: the truth and lies, the good and the evil, the search for the meaning of life, freedom, and belief in God. Shklovsky “The Protest of Models” is considered in the optics of installation and collage. Corresponding to the principles of graphic unity, the text of the essay is a combination of literary theories that are largely separated from each other. The article shows the “valences” of these theories (there are border between reality and fiction, dialogue between Author and Hero, problems of prototype and other), which the author outlined thesis, but not deployed into a coherent consistent statement. Due to the principles of structural analysis of the text formulated by R. This paper observes narrative devices in the novel by Dmitri Prigov "Katja kitajskaja" (Kate Chinese) that transforms Chinese realia. In the noted text representation of Chinese culture involves both fictional and fact-based details. First of all, there are plenty of originally Chinese words and phrases that were consciously mutilated by the author. Next, there are various forms of stereotypization. In the novel those could be pointed out as naming units or images. Listed devices could be combined in many ways, representing even more complicated transformations. From this perspective, "China" in the text could be viewed as a space for writing innovations and experiments with language. Статья посвящена рассмотрению повествовательных приемов в романе Д. А. Пригова "Катя китайская", направленных на трансформацию "китайских" реалий. В тексте произведения сведения о культуре Китая используются автором для совмещения фактологических основ и художественного вымысла. Во-первых, многочисленным искажениям подвергаются слова, имеющие китайское происхождение (заимствования, фонетические транскрипции фраз). Во-вторых, в романе активно используется стереотипизация, которая может быть рассмотрена как на уровне языковых номинаций, так и через призму образной структуры. Возможны также разнообразные сочетания указанных приемов, порождающие более сложные формы трансформаций реальной действительности в произведении. Таким образом, "Китай" в тексте можно рассматривать как пространство для авторских экспериментов с повествовательной техникой, нацеленных на обогащение художественного языка.
