В статье на примере производственного романа В. Пановой "Кружилиха" рассматривается противостояние соцреалистического канона и индивидуальной манеры письма. The creative activity of V. Panova of the first post-war years, which are traditionally considered as the period of late socialist realism, became the material of analysis in this article. Focusing on the novel "Kruzhilikha", thematically corresponding to the most orthodox genre of socialist realism - occupational novel - allows showing how the confrontation between canon and individual writing style unfolds within one text.

В статье рассматриваются версии "механических" людей в творчестве А. Платонова, прослеживается их происхождение и последующий процесс развития. The article examines the versions of "mechanical" people in the works of A. Platonov and traces their origin and subsequent process of development. The methodological basis of the study is made up by the works interpreting Platonov's creative activity from the positions of the following scientific approaches: the contextualapproach (M. M. Bakhtin, V. E. Khalizev), according to which meanings generated by extra-textual reality are important for this research and the motif-centered approach (B. M. Gasparov, M. Ya. Polyakov), based on the principle of leitmotif narrative composition.

The article analyzes the novels by a famous American screenwriter John August “Arlo Finch in the Valley of Fire” (2018), “Arlo Finch in the Lake of the Moon” (2019) and “Arlo Finch in the Kingdom of Shadows” (2020). The trilogy of Arlo Finch is the author's literary debut. It is demonstrated that the author makes extensive use of literary allusions and reminiscences, images and motifs of mythology, and materials of European medieval legends. Written in praise of the scouts, reminding of fortitude, endurance, perseverance and group solidarity,the novel is filled with intense drama, as teenagers during a sports game fall into the world of the Long Woods, the world of death, understood as a transgressive transition to another world.

The article presents the results of a study of a doctor's speech portrait in the book "Sakhalin" by V. M. Doroshevich. Penal servitude discourse functions in the book as one of the variants of political discourse, which is usually controlled by the authorities. Doroshevich shows two different worlds on Sakhalin at the end of the 19th century: the world of convicts and settlers on the one hand, and the world of prison administration and the island authorities that opposes them, on the other.

A review of the studies of literary criticism and academic research on Akunin's work has revealed that the basic principles of his poetics include intertextuality and the use of gamebased strategies.

The article examines the reception of the unfinished work "Under the Hill" by Aubrey Beardsley and the author's illustrations of it in the novel "South Wind" by Norman Douglas.

The article deals with the story “White Mazurka” by the writer of the Eastern emigration Boris Yulsky. Yulsky’s creative work is usually associated with Chinese traditions, highlighting the oriental line which permeates his prose. However, in the vein of classical Russian literature, Yulsky created two works which refer the reader to the mid 19th century and bring them back to the world of noble manors and Pyatigorsk resorts. These are “Lermontov’s” short story “The Moon over Beshtau” and the story “White Mazurka”. The urgency of the study consists in identifying Bunin’s themes in Yulsky’s prose on the example of his story “White Mazurka” and in discovering the position of the artist who wrote his works in the middle of the 20th century. The research methods rest on the historico-literary, phenomenological, typological and comparative approaches and are based on the works of researchers of the poetics of the Eastern emigration and specialists in Bunin’s creative activity. The purpose of the study is to show that the story “White Mazurka” does not only demonstrate the reception of the noble Russia in the new century and new (eastern) space, but is also a reference to the short story written two years earlier by I. A. Bunin – “Natalie” from the collection “Dark Alleys”. The motives and the elements of the plot of Bunin’s short story and Yulsky’s story have a certain similarity: the arrival of a young relative at a noble manor, the meeting with the main female character, the characters’ ambivalent love – carnal and sublime, the ball scenes which became mainstream in both texts, the separation, and the tragic finale. At the same time, “White Mazurka” also echoes other short stories from “Dark Alleys” (“Tanya”, “Zoyka and Valeria”) and even kind of anticipates the “Clean Monday” of 1944. Conclusions. The “parody” of the 19th century turns into the creation of a new text in Yulsky’s story, which, on the one hand, combines the motives of classical literature, and on the other, shows how Bunin’s background forms the position of the 20th century modernist, who creates a multi-layered narrative space joining the tradition and its transfiguration in new forms.

It is shown that Bunin's short story seems to lead a dialogue with the novel by F. M. Dostoevsky "The Karamazov Brothers".

В статье рассматривается как бытовое время в календарной хронологии романа "Преступление и наказание" претворяется в качественное духовное бытие. Applying the method of Orthodox axeology, the present work tries to answer the following question: how the everyday time (chronos) in the calendar chronology of the novel "Crime and Punishment" is transformed into a qualitative spiritual being (kairos). The possibility of changing the ideological discourse in Dostoevsky's work frompagan to Christian through the influence of the hagiographic corps of Cheti Minei is studied. It is shown how the biographical texts, intended for reading on a specific date, coinciding with the calendar time from the development of the novel plot, influence the change of thoughts and actions of a given character and explain the inner meaning of the event.

Статья посвящена периодизации творчества немецкого писателя Г. Э. Носсака, чья деятельность охватывает значительный период. Носсак сотрудничал с разными литературными объединениями и кружками, работал с разными издательствами. Его взгляды формируются в переломную для Германии эпоху. Его произведения оказываются под запретом, большая часть раннего творчества сгорает при бомбардировке Гамбурга. Он критикует общество потребителей, противопоставляя ему своих "избранных" героев. Его герой вынужден скрывать свою суть, быть как все, однако из произведения в произведение у Носсака появляется мотив суда обывателя над творцом. Диалогическая форма позволяет увидеть столкновение обывателя и "избранного", чей поиск предопределяет появление в текстах мотивов сна, ухода от реальности, существования на грани пространств. Проблема выбора, вопросы жизни и смерти, свободы раскрываются Носсаком в русле экзистенциализма, принадлежность к которому писатель отрицает. Носсак выстраивает символическую модель своей страны и человека в разрушенном катастрофой мире. Мироощущение героя, оказавшегося на границе пространств, раскрывается с помощью метафизических символов, античных сюжетов, "интеллектуальной игры", мистификаций. Анализ сквозных образов и мотивов, таким образом, показывает, что творчество Носсака составляет единую целостность, понять и расшифровать которую возможно лишь контексте взаимосвязи всех его художественных текстов., The article is devoted to the periodization of the works of the German writer H. E. Nossack, whose activities cover a significant period. Nossack collaborated with various literary associations and circles, worked with different publishing houses. His views are being shaped at a turning point for Germany. His works were banned; most of his early works were burned up during the bombing of Hamburg. He criticizes the consumer society, opposing it with his "chosen" heroes. His hero is forced to hide his essence, to be like everyone else, however, from work to work, Nossack has a motive of the court man in the street over the creator. The dialogical form allows you to see the clash between the man in the street and the "chosen one", whose search predetermines the appearance in the texts of the motives of sleep, escape from reality, existence on the verge of spaces. The problem of choice, questions of life and death, freedom are revealed by Nossack in the mainstream of existentialism, which the writer denies belonging to. In his works, Nossack builds a symbolic model of his country and a person in world destroyed by a catastrophe. The world perception of the hero, who finds himself on the border of spaces, is revealed with the aid of metaphysical symbols, antique plots, "intellectual games", and hoaxes. The urgent task of literary criticism is the study of literary texts from the point of view of the implementation of concepts. The article examines the functioning of the concepts of true and false, which in the postmodern world that strives for getting away from binary oppositions, acquire new meanings, which allows to talk about both the preservation and transformation of traditional meanings of a concept. Modern texts about adolescents and the Internet allow us to consider this issue also in the context of interaction of the virtual space and the real world, which is characterized by a shift in the boundaries of the reliable and unreliable. This process is especially noticeable in drama. The article also examines the issue of the antihero, which is significant for the postmodern world, which logically follows from the analysis of the concepts of truth and false in the plays by C. Rinderknecht "Livia, 13" and N. Blok "Topless Photo". Изучение художественных текстов с точки зрения реализации концептов - актуальная задача литературоведения. В данной статье рассматривается функционирование концептов истинного и ложного, которые в постмодернистском мире, стремящемся уйти от бинарных оппозиций, приобретают новые смыслы, что позволяет говорить как о сохранении, так и о трансформации традиционных значений концепта. Современные тексты о подростках и интернете позволяют рассмотреть этот вопрос в том числе в контексте взаимодействия в текстах виртуального пространства и реального мира, для которого характерен сдвиг границ достоверного и недостоверного. Особенно этот процесс заметен в драматургии. В статье также рассматривается значимый для постмодернистского мира вопрос об антигерое, логично вытекающий из анализа концептов истина и ложь в пьесах К. Риндеркнехт "Ливия, 13" и Н. Блок "Фото topless".

В статье рассматривается символика образа главной героини повести Ильи Прозорова сквозь призму аналитической психологии. Тhe study explores the symbolic interpretation of the image of the main female character of the novel from the perspective of analytical psychology.

The article presents an analysis of the functions of the literary landscape and the literary interior in the short story "Tanya" by I. A. Bunin. Particular attention is paid to the issue of the elaboration of the concepts of "landscape" and "interior" in Russian literary criticism. In link with this problem, studies of the peculiarities of the writer's art world are taken into account. It also seems appropriate to refer to the mythopoetic of some details of both the landscape and interior. The landscapes in the story are characterized by a psychological function: these are associated with the inner state of the protagonist. Interiors often fulfill a decorative and characterological function - these aims to create the image of a landlord's house, tells about the patriarchy and belonging to its mistress noble culture. Moreover, the noble estate is thought of as a single space, suggesting the fusion of a house and a garden, therefore, it is proposed to analyze the landscape and interior as a complex. This approach helps to reveal the mythologemes of the hearth and the Garden of Eden in the story. В статье представлен анализ функций литературного пейзажа и литературного интерьера в рассказе И. А. Бунина "Таня". Особое внимание уделяется вопросу разработанности понятий "пейзаж" и "интерьер" в отечественном литературоведении. В связи с этой проблемой учитываются исследования особенностей художественного мира писателя. Также представляется целесообразным обращение к мифопоэтике некоторых деталей пейзажа и интерьера. Для пейзажей в рассказе характерна психологическая функция: они сопряжены с внутренним состоянием главного героя. Интерьеры часто выполняют декоративную и характерологическую функцию - помогают создать образ помещичьего дома, рассказать о патриархальности и принадлежности к дворянской культуре его хозяйки. Причём дворянская усадьба мыслится как единое пространство, предполагающее слитность дома и сада, поэтому пейзаж и интерьер предлагается анализировать в комплексе. Такой подход помогает выявить в рассказе мифологемы домашнего очага и райского сада.

Shklovsky “The Protest of Models” is considered in the optics of installation and collage. Corresponding to the principles of graphic unity, the text of the essay is a combination of literary theories that are largely separated from each other. This paper observes narrative devices in the novel by Dmitri Prigov "Katja kitajskaja" (Kate Chinese) that transforms Chinese realia. In the noted text representation of Chinese culture involves both fictional and fact-based details. First of all, there are plenty of originally Chinese words and phrases that were consciously mutilated by the author. Next, there are various forms of stereotypization. In the novel those could be pointed out as naming units or images. Listed devices could be combined in many ways, representing even more complicated transformations. From this perspective, "China" in the text could be viewed as a space for writing innovations and experiments with language. Статья посвящена рассмотрению повествовательных приемов в романе Д. А. Пригова "Катя китайская", направленных на трансформацию "китайских" реалий. В тексте произведения сведения о культуре Китая используются автором для совмещения фактологических основ и художественного вымысла. Во-первых, многочисленным искажениям подвергаются слова, имеющие китайское происхождение (заимствования, фонетические транскрипции фраз). Во-вторых, в романе активно используется стереотипизация, которая может быть рассмотрена как на уровне языковых номинаций, так и через призму образной структуры. Возможны также разнообразные сочетания указанных приемов, порождающие более сложные формы трансформаций реальной действительности в произведении. Таким образом, "Китай" в тексте можно рассматривать как пространство для авторских экспериментов с повествовательной техникой, нацеленных на обогащение художественного языка.

The article is the first attempt to consider the plot-forming functions of the mythologeme of Dionysus in “Lucerne” by L. N. Tolstoy. The interpretation of semantic imagery contexts of the Dionysian mystery in the story is based on the methodological principles of mythopoetic, structural-semantic, and systemic-functional text analysis.

Reading his art works, we get into the situation of heroes, ordinary people, and our compatriots who lived many years ago. They radiate warmth and light, so mentally spelled out images in a language that has already become distant and, unfortunately, more and more distant. This language is beautiful, but at the same time it is difficult to understand its folk folklore. Russian national character paradoxes, the writer's awareness of the peculiarities of the character of the Russian person, his internal motivations of behavior, his understanding of duty, historical laws, and the internal moral choice that is revealed unexpectedly, in the struggle of contradictions of nature-all this becomes the subject of analysis of the story "Pygmy" by N. S. Leskov. The meaning hidden in the story "Pygmy" implies that any good deed can lead to a series of unpredictable events. В статье рассматриваются пути восхождения простого, "ничтожного" героя Н. С. Лескова к праведничеству. Читая его произведения, проникаешь душой в ситуацию героев, простых людей, наших соотечественников, живших много лет назад. От них веет теплотой и светом, так душевно прописаны образы языком, уже ставшим далеким и к сожалению, все более и более отдаляющимся. Этот язык красив, насыщен фольклором. Парадоксы русского национального характера, осознание писателем особенностей характера русского человека, его внутренних мотивировок поведения, его понимание долга, исторических законов и того внутреннего нравственного выбора, который раскрывается неожиданно, в борьбе противоречий натуры - все это становится предметом анализа рассказа Н. С. Лескова "Пигмей". Глубинный смысл рассказа "Пигмей" заключается в том, что любое доброе дело может повлечь за собой череду непредсказуемых событий.

The article focuses on the originality of interpretation of "the Petersburgian myth" in G. Ivanov's short story "Biron's cane". Features of "the Petersburgian hypertext" in Russian literature are described based on V. N. Toporov's researches. Drawing on these features, we have prepared an analysis of Duke Biron's image in the short story and estimated it against the context of "the Petersburgian myth". We have also analyzed the short story's chronotope and correlate it to the historical background and traditions of "the Petersburgian hypertext" in Russian literature. The article identifies key images the author utilizes in the text in order to develop the topic of the eschatological and infernal Petersburg. As the result of the research, we have identified special features of "the Petersburgian myth's" interpretation in the short story "Biron's cane", connected to cultural, historical and social contexts of Saint Petersburg. С опорой на выявленные В. Н. Топоровым параметры и функции петербургского текста в статье предпринята попытка анализа "акмеистского" варианта мифа о Петербурге в новелле Г. В. Иванова "Трость Бирона". Рассматривается историческая основа, на которой создает свой образ Г. В. Иванов. Выявляются ключевые образы, которые автор вводит в свой текст с целью раскрытия идеи эсхатологичности и инфернальности Петербурга. Носителем злого начала, идущего из прошлого, становится в новелле образ Бирона, приобретающий демонические черты в духе готической традиции. Отмечается внимание писателя к предметному миру, старинные вещи показаны как артефакты, хранящие память культуры. Описания деталей одежды, интерьера антикварной лавки и жилища Симона, архитектурных примет центра Петербурга создают образ города-музея. Призрак Бирона символизирует то зло, которое, не проявляясь открыто, продолжает тяготеть над душами людей. Трость вновь и вновь находит хозяина-жертву. Такая повторяемость злого промысла выражает ощущение близкого заката былой петербургской эпохи и ее культуры.

В статье рассматривается символика интермедиальных референций (живописных картин) в пьесе "Канотье" известного уральского драматурга Николая Коляды. The article studies symbolic functions of intermedial references to paintings in the play "The Boater Hat" by the famous Urals playwright, director and actor Nikolai Kolyada. Although this play has repeatedly become the subject of attention of Russian researchers and critics in the context of other works by Kolyada, the symbolism of the paintings in it has not yet been specially considered. A detailed analysis of the ekphrasis of twopaintings by the characterhero-painter Viktor Sukhinin has revealed their polysemantic functions in portraying the characters and presenting the main conflict of the play.

The article considers quotations (allusions, reminiscences) from the works of B. Pasternak, which form the intertextual basis of the story by M. Shishkin "The Hum quieted down…", the purpose of the work is to determine the function of the Pasternak's layer in the story: to show the “increment” of meaning due to the intensive appeal to the poet's work. As a result of observations on the intertext, the key motif of the story was revealed - the motif of resurrection in the word; its plot-forming and chronotopic meaning is shown. The semantics of this motif is shown primarily by references to the poems of B. Pasternak's "Hamlet" and "The garden of Gethsemane". Their analysis allows us to see the justification of the life choice made by the autobiographical hero. В статье рассмотрены цитаты (аллюзии, реминисценции) из произведений Б. Пастернака, которые составляют интертекстуальную основу рассказа М. Шишкина "Гул затих…". Цель работы - определить функцию пастернаковского слоя в рассказе: показать "приращение" смысла, обусловленного интенсивным обращением к творчеству поэта. В результате наблюдений над интертекстом был выявлен ключевой мотив рассказа - мотив воскрешения в слове; показано его сюжетообразующее и хронотопическое значение. Семантика этого мотива проявлена прежде всего отсылами к стихотворениям Б. Пастернака "Гамлет" и "Гефсиманский сад". Их анализ позволяет увидеть оправданность жизненного выбора, который делает автобиографический герой.
