We consider here the stationary Micropolar fluid equations which are a particular generalization of the usual Navier-Stokes system where the microrotations of the fluid particles must be taken into account. We thus obtain two coupled equations: one based mainly in the velocity field u and the other one based in the microrotation field $\omega$. We will study in this work some problems related to the existence of weak solutions as well as some regularity and uniqueness properties. Our main result establish, under some suitable decay at infinity conditions for the velocity field only, the uniqueness of the trivial solution.

In this article we consider a damped version of the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations in the whole three-dimensional space with a divergence-free and time-independent external force. Within the framework of a well-prepared force and with a particular choice of the damping parameter, when the Grashof numbers are large enough, we are able to prove some estimates from below and from above between the fluid characteristic velocity and the energy dissipation rate according to the Kolmogorov dissipation law. Precisely, our main contribution concerns the estimate from below which is not often studied in the existing literature. Moreover, we address some remarks which open the door to a deep discussion on the validity of this theory of turbulence.

We consider a system of two nonlocal and nonlinear partial differential equations that describe some aspects of yeast cell-cell communication. We study local and global existence and uniqueness of solutions. We consider mild solutions and we perform bilinear and trilinear fixed point arguments in suitable functional spaces.

We consider parabolic PDEs associated with fractional type operators drifted by non-linear singular first order terms. When the drift enjoys some boundedness properties in appropriate Lebesgue and Besov spaces, we establish by exploiting a priori Besov-type estimates, the H{\"o}lder continuity of the solutions. In particular, we handle the almost critical case in whole generality.

We study the existence of global weak solutions of a nonlinear transport-diffusion equation with a fractional derivative in the time variable and under some extra hypotheses, we also study some regularity properties for this type of solutions. In the system considered here, the diffusion operator is given by a fractional Laplacian and the nonlinear drift is assumed to be divergence free and it is assumed to satisfy some general stability and boundedness properties in Lebesgue spaces.

We study here a new generalization of Caffarelli, Kohn and Nirenberg's partial regularity theory for weak solutions of the MHD equations. Indeed, in this framework some hypotheses on the pressure P are usually asked (for example P $\in$ L q t L 1 x with q > 1) and then local H{��}lder regularity, in time and space variables, for weak solutions can be obtained over small neighborhoods. By introducing the notion of dissipative solutions, we weaken the hypothesis on the pressure (we will only assume that P $\in$ D) and we will obtain H{��}lder regularity in the space variable for weak solutions.

We consider stationary Navier-Stokes equations in R 3 with a regular external force and we prove exponential frequency decay of the solutions. Moreover, if the external force is small enough, we give a pointwise exponential frequency decay for such solutions according to the K41 theory. If a damping term is added to the equation, a pointwise decay is obtained without the smallness condition over the force.

We investigate some smoothness properties for a transport-diffusion equation involving a class of non-degerate L{\'e}vy type operators with singular drift. Our main argument is based on a duality method using the molecular decomposition of Hardy spaces through which we derive some H{\"o}lder continuity for the associated parabolic PDE. We are interested in some properties related to the solutions of non-local diffusion equations with divergence free drift. Existence, maximum principle and a positivity principle are proved. In this article I study H\"older regularity for solutions of a transport equation based in the dissipative quasi-geostrophic equation. Following a recent idea of A. Kiselev and F. Nazarov, I will use the molecular characterization of local Hardy spaces in order to obtain information on H\"older regularity of such solutions.
