This study investigates the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on financial inclusion satisfaction and recommendation, with a focus on the ethical dimensions and perceived algorithmic fairness. Drawing upon organizational justice theory and the heuristic–systematic model, we examine how algorithm transparency, accountability, and legitimacy influence users' perceptions of fairness and, subsequently, their satisfaction with and likelihood to recommend AI-driven financial inclusion services. Through a survey-based quantitative analysis of 675 users in China, our results reveal that perceived algorithmic fairness acts as a significant mediating factor between the ethical attributes of AI systems and the user responses. Specifically, higher levels of transparency, accountability, and legitimacy enhance users' perceptions of fairness, which, in turn, significantly increases both their satisfaction with AI-facilitated financial inclusion services and their likelihood to recommend them. This research contributes to the literature on AI ethics by empirically demonstrating the critical role of transparent, accountable, and legitimate AI practices in fostering positive user outcomes. Moreover, it addresses a significant gap in the understanding of the ethical implications of AI in financial inclusion contexts, offering valuable insights for both researchers and practitioners in this rapidly evolving field. Healthcare workers (HCWs) are trusted sources of information for vaccination and their attitude toward vaccination is thus critical. We aimed to synthesize existing literature on healthcare workers’ HPV vaccine confidence and their practices of recommending this vaccine. We conducted a systematic literature review and meta-analysis, with the search conducted last in March 2024. For the inclusion criteria, the studies needed to include healthcare worker practices or behaviors on recommending the HPV vaccination. Seventy-three articles were included. The proportions of HCWs recommending varied considerably by region and gender of the recipient, but there was no statistically significant difference in income level or pre- or post-HPV vaccine introduction into the national vaccination program. The main barriers to recommending HPV vaccination were concerns around safety and efficacy, cost, parental concerns, and systemic barriers. The results illustrate the importance of contextually adapted approaches to improving vaccine acceptance and recommendation.

Objective To examine the behavior of recommendation on childhood vaccines and its influencing factors among pediatricians. Methods Using convenient sampling, we conducted a web-based voluntary anonymous questionnaire survey among 289 pediatricians at seven professional training sites in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region and six municipalities in central, southern and northern China during November – December 2020. Multivariate ordinal logistic regression analysis was adopted to explore factors associated with the recommendation behavior. ResultsOf all the respondents, 25.3% (73/289), 50.2% (145/289), and 24.5% (71/289) reported often, sometimes, and occasionally recommending childhood vaccines to the parents of child clinic attendees, respectively. The main reason reported by 89.7% of the pediatricians not recommending childhood vaccines was there being no requirements and responsibilities on the vaccination recommendation. Among all the respondents, only 30.1% (87/289) considered being with adequate knowledge about childhood vaccines to answer relevant questions from child clinic attendees′ parents, although 84.8% (245/289) reported having been consulted by the parents on the issues during past one year. The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that the respondents with following characteristics were more likely to conduct the vaccination recommendation: with senior professional titles (odds ratio [OR] = 2.124, 95% confidence interval [95% CI]: 1.169 – 3.858), having received influenza vaccination (OR = 2.237, 95% CI: 1.296 – 3.861), ever receiving vaccine-related training (OR = 1.830, 95% CI: 1.112 – 3.012), having been consulted by child clinic attendees′ parents frequently (OR = 6.604, 95% CI: 3.042 – 14.338), with adequate knowledge about childhood vaccines (OR = 1.984, 95% CI: 1.152 – 3.418), and having perceived professional responsibilities for the vaccination recommendation (OR = 5.6, 95% CI: 3.083 – 10.172). Conclusion Recommendation on childhood vaccines is not often conducted by pediatricians and the situation needs to be improved in China.

Students have become extremely critical and analytical while choosing higher education institutions. Preferability by these students and the retention and commitment of current students are important for higher education institutions. Universities, one of the most important representatives of higher education institutions, are directly and indirectly evaluated by their stakeholders regarding the quality of the services they provide. As a result of these evaluations, the increasing studies on the service quality and loyalty can have a wide range of reflections from the ranking of institutions to their preferability and financial policies. The aim of this study is to examine the relationships between service quality, student loyalty and recommendation intention, and the structure that creates these relationships, in particular within sports sciences faculties. In this direction, the sample of the study consists of 242 students who are senior at the Departments of Physical Education and Sports Teaching, Coaching Education, Sports Management and Recreation in the Faculty of Sports Sciences of Selçuk University. In the study, survey method was used for the data collection, and basic statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and structural equation model were used. As a result of the data analysis carried out through SPSS 21 and AMOS 23 programs, positive and significant effects of perceived service quality, empathy, academic appearance and access variables were determined on the loyalty of sports science faculty students, and positive and significant effects of empathy and academic appearance variables were determined on their recommendation intentions. In order for universities to increase student loyalty and recommendation intention in sports sciences faculties, it is recommended that academic and administrative staff should engage in activities that improve their empathy skills, as well as easy access to quality sports facilities, modern equipment and services. Purpose -- The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of travel agency's reputation on customer recommendation behavior by examining the mediating effects of customer-perceived functional and emotional value as well as the moderating effects of tour leader performance and customer flow experience in the travel agency sector. Design/methodology/approach -- A statistical analysis of the collected questionnaires was computed based on the 463 usable responses from Taiwan tourists who joining the group package tours traveling to China. Structural equation modeling is the essential analysis methodology used to examine the hypothesized relationships among the variables. Findings -- The analysis results confirm that reputation has positive effects on customers recommendation behaviors in which perceived functional and emotional value work as necessary mediating roles. Nevertheless, the effect of reputation through emotional value on customer recommendation behavior provides a much better explanation than through functional value in the model. In addition, regarding the variables of tour leader performance and customer flow experience in the model, only the tour leader performance is confirmed that moderates the relationships among reputation, perceived value, and customer recommendation behavior. According to the findings, managerial implications are discussed as well. Originality/value -- This study develops a conceptual stimulus-organism-response (S-O-R) model that, reflecting the mediating role of perceived value and the moderating role of tour leader performance, indicates the effect of reputation on customer recommendation behavior.
