The unique goods from university is utilized to support micro, small, and medium firms in enhancing company performance. These items underline the existence of a hydroelectric power generation system, particularly a portable generator turbine, which is an analytical and new output at Andalas University. This is a low-cost radial turbine made from a centrifugal blower. Inventors and users will profit from it. Therefore, this study intends to establish the financial feasibility of a portable generator turbine and its technology/patent valuation, as well as market potential, by applying a business model. Explanatory Sequential Mixed-Method Design was employed. Quantitative and qualitative methodologies were employed to assess the business's financial viability and product marketability. Based on the financial analysis, the construction of a portable generator turbine was viable, and had the potential to be commercialized due to its affordable value propositions. The purposes of this research were: 1) to examine the brand value of health-oriented bakery products in Thailand; 2) to investigate the importance of factors influencing business strategies in the production of health-oriented bakery products in Thailand; 3) to compare the importance levels of factors influencing business strategies in the production of healthoriented bakery products in Thailand, categorized by the basic characteristics of survey respondents; 4) to explore a relationship between brand equity and factors influencing business strategies in the production of health-oriented bakery products in Thailand; and 5) to propose business strategies and branding for health-oriented bakery products in Thailand. This study applied a mixed research methodology: quantitative and qualitative method. Quantitative data were collected from customers who used to purchase healthy bakery products via accidental sampling of 385 respondents, and qualitative data were collected from in-depth interview with 5 key informants. The research instrument was a research questionnaire. Statistics used in this study were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson Product-Moment Correlation, and Multiple Regression Analysis. The research results were as follows: 1) The overall brand equity creation of healthy bakery products were at a high important level, which can be ranked by mean as brand awareness, brand identity, brand preferment, and loyalty respectively; 2) The overall factors leading to business approach of healthy bakery products were at a high important level, which be ranked by mean as competitiveness, product value, packaging, distribution, marketing promotion, and price setting respectively; 3) A relationship between the overall of brand equity creation and factors leading to business approach of healthy bakery products were at a moderate level; 4) The overall independent variables can predict the business approach of healthy bakery products at 68.8%, which can be presented as brand preference, packaging, competitive potential, product value, distribution, and marketing promotion respectively. The context of construction reflects the complexity of technological advancements, industrial modelling and simulation, intertwined by the need for economic attention. The current paper captures the evolution of businesses and labor indicators in the construction industry of Romanian companies in the seaside region and determines a series of illustrated trends of the labor cost in the principal subsectors specific to construction engineering domain. By combining case study observation and quantitative analysis methods, we could express in suggestive figures the diverse, divergent and compelling business context in the construction industry of Romania’s two counties by the sea, Constanta and Tulcea. The dichotomic issues found during our study provide insights into the complex competition, business approach and labor costs in the construction context. The motivation for research and need to disseminate managerial knowledge derives from the impetus to enhance productivity and support for the economic development strategies in Eastern Europe.

Threat of information security has impact to business of organization. Therefore, the development of information security risk model should consider business perspective. In order to develop new risk model, defining metrics is important process. It can be conducted by theoretical analysis, validity analysis and reliability analysis. Theoretical analysis and validity analysis had been performed in previous work. Furthermore, reliability analysis is performed in this paper. Cronbach's Alpha is required as method to measure reliability coefficient from five proposed metrics namely reputation, financial impact, critical level, business type of organization, and size of organization. Reliability analysis from proposed metrics results coefficient between 0.70-0.91. Based on previous researches, metric is reliable if it has coefficient greater than 0.65. Firma and companies wish the extension on the international market, but not always are able to serve in anefficient manner, an extended market as a result of the capacity restrictions that these companies register. Inrapport with the capacity restrictions, the firm would take into account another dimension of the Internationalmarket that might posses. The study takes into consideration the adaptation of the firm at one of the four levels ofmarket development, having as result two major approaches, each approach offering two action modalities at thelevel of international business. There results four modalities (ways) of assignment of the resources and activities,depending on the capacity of the company, in rapport with the one of the market and competition.

Construction industry in several developing countries has undergone major transitions to cope with their national economic goals and – as importantly – to align their markets with the growing global sustainability trends. This study proposes a business approach addressing the common barriers against the strong presence of sustainable construction materials in these countries. The Egyptian market was selected as a candidate for a potential sustainable transformation. The use of sustainable concrete is advocated as a pivotal market transformation that warrants technical leverage in the construction industry and ensures local development as well as global competitiveness. A mixed-mode survey was performed to estimate the level of understanding of sustainable construction and, thus, gauge market’s receptiveness to change. Like most sustainable changes in developing countries, the use of sustainable concrete in Egypt as a mainstream construction material is challenged by the stagnant culture of the industry and the absence of a proactive legislative role. Business implementation of the desired transformation is suggested to endure the three stages of the Kotter’s model for change: unfreeze-change-lock. In view of the noted commonness of the barriers and similarities in construction cultures of developing countries, due consideration to the proposed approach could be given in these markets. The progress in context-aware systems is predominantly technology-driven, leading to innovations in technologysavvy industries while having almost no impact on other industries, such as the insurance sector. In this paper we introduce a novel, key player-oriented framework that explicitly takes into account the (business) value for each player being relevant when implementing a particular context-aware service on the market. Battery energy storage systems (BESSs) are gaining increasing importance in the low carbon transformation of power systems. Their deployment in the power grid, however, is currently challenged by the economic viability of BESS projects. To drive the growth of the BESS industry, private, commercial, and institutional investments in large-scale BESS projects are needed. For financiers and investors, choosing an appropriate BESS installation location is a crucial task that requires important considerations. However, so far, studies targeting the BESS placement problem have mainly focused on minimizing operational losses, solving power quality issues, and improving the voltage profile of the system. Implementing such approaches only considers the operational feasibility of BESS at the installation site while ignoring its business feasibility. Therefore, in this paper, we approach the BESS placement problem from a business viewpoint by conducting a stage-level investigation of BESS projects. First, we identify the factors impacting the business feasibility of placement decisions in projects' construction, connection, operation, and disposal stages and propose cost and time effective measures for making them business friendly. We investigate several factors such as profitability of grid services, integrability of renewable resources, affordability of connection charges, and the usability of BESS capacity. Second, we investigate the business potential of placing BESSs in different grid-levels of the power system and examine BESS connection procedures at those levels. Third, we implement the proposed approach for installing a BESS in the Danish island of Bornholm, for which, we investigate multiple locations of the Bornholm power system. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
