The outbreak of the COVID-19 has seriously affected the whole society, and vaccines were the most effective means to contain the epidemic. This paper aims to determine the top 100 articles cited most frequently in COVID-19 vaccines and to analyze the research status and hot spots in this field through bibliometrics, to provide a reference for future research. We conducted a comprehensive search of the Web of Science Core Collection database on November 29, 2023, and identified the top 100 articles by ranking them from highest to lowest citation frequency. In addition, we analyzed the year of publication, citation, author, country, institution, journal, and keywords with Microsoft Excel 2019 and VOSviewer 1.6.18. Research focused on vaccine immunogenicity and safety, vaccine hesitancy, and vaccination intention.

Abstract Background Lung cancer represents a significant public health issue in China, given its high incidence and mortality rates. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) have been recently proposed to participate in the development and progression of tumors. Nevertheless, their particular roles in the pathogenesis of lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), the tumor microenvironment (TME), and the underlying molecular mechanisms are still not well understood. Methods High-throughput sequencing was used to analyze the circRNAs expression profiles in 7 pairs of human LUAD tissues. shRNA was used to knockdown the YAP1 and FGB genes. RNA sequencing and RT-qPCR were performed to classify the regulatory effects of circ_16601 in LUAD cells. The progression effect of circ_16601 on lung cancer was investigated in vitro and in vivo. Results The circ_16601 is significantly elevated in LUAD tissues compared to adjacent normal lung tissues, and its high expression is positively associated with poor prognosis in LUAD patients. Additionally, circ_16601 overexpression promotes LUAD cell proliferation in vitro and increases xenograft tissue growth in mice in vivo; circ_16601 also could recruit fibroblasts to cancer associate fibroblasts. Mechanistically, circ_16601 can directly bind to miR-5580-5p, preventing its ability to degrade FGB mRNA and enhancing its stability. Subsequently, circ_16601 promotes the activation of the Hippo pathway in a YAP1-dependent manner, leading to LUAD progression. Conclusions Our findings shed valuable insights into the regulatory role of circ_16601 in LUAD progression and highlight its potential as a diagnostic and therapeutic target in LUAD. Overall, this study provides theoretical support to improve the prognosis and quality of life of patients suffering from this devastating disease.

Weathered-crust karst carbonate is developed in the third submember of the fourth member of the Middle Triassic Leikoupo Formation (Lei 4 3 submember) in the Longgang area of Sichuan Basin, China, and acts as an important oil and gas reservoir. To reconstruct the paleogeomorphology of the weathered-crust karst, we analyzed the seismic thickness of the interval from the erosional unconformity surface on the top of the Leikoupo Formation to the karst at the bottom of the third member of the Xujiahe Formation (Xu 3 member), based on existing three-dimensional seismic and drilling data, and the sedimentary characteristics of the Leikoupo and Xujiahe formations. There are three secondary types of geomorphological unit, namely the karst highlands, the karst transitional zone, and the karst basin, and these have distinct karst water development patterns and hydrological conditions that determine the intensity of karstification and reservoir quality. Among them, the karst highlands have a poor reservoir capacity due to their long-term exposure above the water table, which resulted in severe denudation. The karst transitional zone features the superimposition of multiple periods of strong karstification, and this has resulted in high-quality reservoir conditions in the karst monadnocks but poor reservoir conditions in the karren. The karst basin represents a drainage area that experienced weak karstification, and the reservoir capacity is generally poor, although some good reservoirs were developed in shoals. Paleogeomorphological maps provide excellent guides to finding karst monadnocks in karst transitional zones, and monadnocks should serve as the main targets of exploration in the weathered-crust karst reservoir on top of the Lei 4 3 submember.

This paper investigates the problem of designing angle constraint guidance law against unknown maneuvering targets based on discrete-time sliding mode control theory. Invoking the fact that the future course of action of the target, an independent entity, cannot be predicted beforehand due to its complexity and unpredictability, a model-assisted discrete-time disturbance observer in cooperation with a singularity-free strategy is proposed first to estimate the target maneuver. Based on the reconstructed signal and a fast convergence time-varying sliding surface, a new chattering-mitigated super-twisting-like discrete-time impact angle constraint guidance law is then synthesized. Stability analysis shows that the closed-loop system trajectory can be forced to enter into a small region around the sliding surface. Simulations and comparisons with classical discrete-time sliding mode guidance law validate the effectiveness of the proposed guidance law. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
