This article summarized the nursing of an adolescent with hidradenitis suppurativa complicated with bilateral axillary skin ulcers. Nurses had work with doctor to control MRSA infection, ensured effective negative stress wound therapy, observed the survival of the flap, provided health education to enhance patients' ability to proactively manage wounds and prevent recurrence, reduced the pain of the patient's wound and prevented the occurrence of mood disorders. The bilateral axillary wounds reached epithelialization after comprehensive treatment and nursing. A deep eutectic solvent (DES) with the ability to change from hydrophilic to hydrophobic was designed and synthesized and applied to the determination of organophosphorus (OPP) pesticides in honeysuckle dew samples. Choline chloride, phenol, and tetrahydrofuran (THF) were used as the hydrogen bond acceptor, hydrogen bond donor, and demulsifier, respectively. Eight OPP pesticides were extracted by DES coupled with ultrasonic-assisted extraction (UA) and then chromatographed by GC-MS. DES used as an extract solvent has the advantages of high extraction efficiency, low cost, and environmental protection. Furthermore, DES is compatible with GC-MS. The single factor experiment design and Box–Behnken design (BBD) were applied to the optimization of experimental factors, including the type and composition of extraction solvent, type of demulsifier solvent, the volume of DES and THF, pH of sample solution, and ultrasonic time. Under the optimum experimental conditions, the high degree of linearity from 0.1 to 20.0 ng mL−1 (R2 ≥ 0.9989), the limits of detection from 0.014 to 0.051 ng mL−1 (S/N = 3), and the recoveries of analytes from 81.4 to 104.4% with relative standard deviation below 8.6%. In addition, the adsorption mechanism of OPPs on DES was explored by adsorption kinetic studies. These results have demonstrated that the present method has offered an effective, accurate, and sensitive methodology for OPP pesticides in honeysuckle dew samples, and this method provides a reference for the detection of pesticide residues in traditional Chinese medicine. Purpose: This study aimed to develop a medication literacy scale for parents of children with epilepsy (MLSPCE) and to test the reliability and validity of the scale.Patients and Methods: The pilot scale was formulated based on the concept of medication literacy, the knowledge-attitude-practice model, and relevant literature reviews. It was formed through two rounds of expert consultations using the Delphi method. A survey of 657 parents of children with epilepsy, who were admitted to the neurology department or examined in the neuro-electrophysiological outpatient department of Guangzhou Women and Children Medical Center, using the pilot scale was conducted from October 2021 to January 2022 to test the reliability and validity of the scale questionnaire. The content validity of the scale questionnaire was assessed by consulting 20 neurology nursing, neurology clinician, and nursing education experts. Numbers, percentages, t-test, correlation analysis, Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient and factor analysis were used for data analysis.Results: The MLSPCE included 34 items in four dimensions. Ten factors were drawn from the explorative factor analysis, with a cumulative variance contribution rate of 62.32%. The content validity index of each item on the 34-item scale was between 0.81 and 1.0, and the scale-content validity index/ average was 0.97. The correlation coefficient between each item and its dimension was between 0.399 and 0.760, the correlation coefficients between dimensions were between 0.150 and 0.382, and the correlation coefficients between each dimension and the total scale were between 0.390 and 0.845. Differences for all comparisons were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the total scale was 0.864, and the split-half reliability of the total scale was 0.923.Conclusion: All the statistical procedures performed in the validity and reliability stages of the study showed that MLSPCE is a valid and reliable tool for measuring medication literacy among Chinese parents of children with epilepsy. The widespread existence of uncertainty makes power system control and decision-making face various risks, especially the interconnection of modern large-scale power systems, which makes its influence range more extensive. In smart grid, the renewable energy prediction and uncertainty analysis methods represented by wind power generation have attracted extensive attention. In this study, an adaptive parameter selection method based on Kullback−Leibler divergence is designed to fully extract the potential information of data. The grey wolf optimization based on reverse learning is used for prediction optimization, identifying historical data, processing dynamic information, and improving the accuracy of the model. In interval prediction, an interval prediction method combining empirical error, quantile statistics, and Markov Chain Monte Carlo is creatively proposed to generate a large number of independent error cases, and form a series of interval predictions with given confidence according to the quantile of random simulation results. Taking wind speed forecasting as an example, it is verified that the method proposed in this article has good performance. The refrigerant R513A receives significant attention as an alternative to R134a used in water chiller, due to its lower global warming potential. However, whether R513A can directly and efficiently take the place of R134a in the twin screw compressor has not been verified. In this paper, a thermodynamic model is applied to compare the performance of R513A and R134a in a twin screw compressor. The leakage process and heat transfer between refrigerant and lubricant oil are taken into account. With this model, the volumetric efficiency and adiabatic efficiency are simulated and p - V indicator diagram is presented. Simulated results show that R513A is the refrigerant with low temperature lift, low pressure ratio but high pressure difference. Experimentally, the test compressor originally designed for R134a is used to compare the performance of R134a and R513A. Test results show that the differences of volumetric efficiency and adiabatic efficiency between R134a and R513A are very small and acceptable. The COP of R513A is only a little bit lower than that of R134a. Hence, taking the cost of replacing equipment and GWP into account, R513A can directly take the place of R134a in the twin screw compressor. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Owing to their advantages of anti-electromagnetic interference, chemical resistance, high sensitivity, and fast response time, optical fiber sensors (OFSs) are widely used in biomedical, environmental monitoring, and food safety fields. We introduce the classification and principles of OFSs and summarize the applications and research progress of OFSs in water quality detection (heavy metals and microorganisms) and air quality monitoring (COx, NOx, and VOCs). Software reliability growth models, which are based on nonhomogeneous Poisson processes, are widely adopted tools when describing the stochastic failure behavior and measuring the reliability growth in software systems. Faults in the systems, which eventually cause the failures, are usually connected with each other in complicated ways. Considering a group of networked faults, we raise a new model to examine the reliability of software systems and assess the model's performance from real‐world data sets. Our numerical studies show that the new model, capturing networking effects among faults, well fits the failure data. We also formally study the optimal software release policy using the multi‐attribute utility theory (MAUT), considering both the reliability attribute and the cost attribute. We find that, if the networking effects among different layers of faults were ignored by the software testing team, the best time to release the software package to the market would be much later while the utility reaches its maximum. In this paper, characteristics of discharge pressure pulsation in a twin-screw refrigeration compressor are investigated. A thermodynamic model is developed and validated using data from a comprehensive experimental study. This validated model is then applied to investigate effects of key parameters including condensing temperature, compressor rotational speed, super-feed pressure, part-load operation, and design parameters on the discharge pressure pulsation. The results showed that the discharge pressure pulsation was mainly due to periodic variations of mass and energy flow from the working volumes to the discharge chamber. As the condensing temperature increased or decreased from the design condition, the compressor was in either over- or undercompression leading to an increase in the amplitude of the pressure pulsation. The gas super-feed pressure could increase the pressure pulsation at condensing temperatures below the design value and reduce the pressure pulsation at condensing temperatures above the design value. The analysis also demonstrated that the pressure pulsation was lower at part-load conditions. However, the compressor rotational speed increased both the amplitude and frequency of the pressure pulsation. Theoretical analysis of design parameters indicated that a large discharge volume with a high number of lobes could lower the pressure pulsation. Identifying influential spreaders in complex networks is crucial for containing virus spread, accelerating information diffusion, and promoting new products. In this paper, inspired by the effect of leaders on social ties, we propose the most influential neighbors’ k-shell index that is the weighted sum of the products between k-core values of itself and the node with the maximum k-shell values. We apply the classical Susceptible-Infected-Recovered (SIR) model to verify the performance of our method. The experimental results on both real and artificial networks show that the proposed method can quantify the node influence more accurately than degree centrality, betweenness centrality, closeness centrality, and k-shell decomposition method. Recently, collaborative filtering-based methods are widely used for service recommendation. QoS attribute value-based collaborative filtering service recommendation mainly includes two important steps. One is the similarity computation, and the other is the prediction for QoS attribute value, which the user has not experienced. In previous studies, the performances of some methods need to be improved. In this paper, we propose a ratio-based method to calculate the similarity. We can get the similarity between users or between items by comparing the attribute values directly. Based on our similarity computation method, we propose a new method to predict the unknown value. By comparing the values of a similar service and the current service that are invoked by common users, we can obtain the final prediction result. The performance of the proposed method is evaluated through a large data set of real web services. Experimental results show that our method obtains better prediction precision, lower mean absolute error ( $MAE$ ) and faster computation time than various reference schemes considered. In this paper, we address the problem of structure-aware shape deformation: We specifically consider deformations that preserve symmetries of the shape being edited. While this is an elegant approach for obtaining plausible shape variations from minimal assumptions, a straightforward optimization is numerically expensive and poorly conditioned. Our paper introduces an explicit construction of bases of linear spaces of shape deformations that exactly preserve symmetries for any user-defined level of detail. This permits the construction of low-dimensional spaces of low-frequency deformations that preserve the symmetries. We obtain substantial speed-ups over alternative approaches for symmetry-preserving shape editing due to (i) the sub-space approach, which permits low-res editing, (ii) the removal of redundant, symmetric information, and (iii) the simplification of the numerical formulation due to hard-coded symmetry preservation. We demonstrate the utility in practice by applying our framework to symmetry-preserving co-rotated iterative Laplace surface editing of models with complex symmetry structure, including partial and nested symmetry. Ganglioside as a neurotrophic drug has been hitherto widely used in China, although Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) following intravenous ganglioside treatment was reported in Europe several decades ago. We identified 7 patients who developed GBS after intravenous use of gangliosides (ganglioside+ group) and compared their clinical data with those of 77 non-ganglioside-associated GBS patients (ganglioside− group) in 2013, aiming at gaining the distinct features of ganglioside-associated GBS. Although the mean age, protein levels in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and frequency of cranial nerve involvement were similar between the two groups, the Hughes Functional Grading Scale (HFGS) score and the Medical Research Council (MRC) sum score at nadir significantly differed (4.9±0.4 vs 3.6±1.0; 7.7±5.5 vs 36.9±14.5, both p<0.001), indicating a higher disease severity of ganglioside-associated GBS. A higher ratio of patients with ganglioside-associated GBS required mechanical ventilation (85.7% vs 15.6%, p<0.01). The short-term prognosis of ganglioside-associated GBS, as measured by the HFGS score and the MRC sum score at discharge, was poorer (4.3±0.5 vs 2.8±1.1; 17.3±12.9 vs 46.0±13.9, both p<0.001). All the patients in the ganglioside+ group presented an axonal form of GBS, namely acute motor axonal neuropathy (AMAN). When compared with the AMAN patients in the ganglioside− group, more severe functional deficits at nadir and poorer recovery after standard treatment were still prominent in ganglioside-associated GBS. Anti-GM1 and anti-GT1a antibodies were detectable in patients with AMAN while not in patients with the demyelinating subtype of GBS. The concentrations of these antibodies in patients with AMAN were insignificantly different between the ganglioside+ and ganglioside− groups. In sum, ganglioside-associated GBS may be a devastating side effect of intravenous use of gangliosides, which usually manifests a more severe clinical course and poorer outcome. A cDNA library of male Chinese seahorse (Hippocampus kuda Bleeker) was constructed to investigate the molecular profile of seahorse as one of the most famous traditional Chinese medicine materials, and to reveal immunological and physiological mechanisms of seahorse as one of the most primitive vertebrates at molecular level. A total of 3372 expressed sequence tags (ESTs) consisting of 1911 unique genes (345 clusters and 1566 singletons) were examined in the present study. Identification of the genes related to immune system, paternal brooding and physiological regulation provides not only valuable insights into the molecular mechanism of immune system in teleost fish but also plausible explanations for pharmacological activities of Chinese seahorse. Furthermore, the occurrence of high prevalent C-type lectins suggested that a lectin-complement pathway might exert a more dominant function in the innate immune system of teleost than mammal. Carbohydrate recognition domain (CRD) without a collagen-like region in the lectins of seahorse was likely an ancient characteristic of lectins similar to invertebrates. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
