Laboratory spectrometer and hyperspectral imaging camera are two instruments for obtaining spectral information of substances. Both instruments have advantages in practical applications. In this paper, a total of 164 sediment samples were collected from two locations in the marine intertidal zone of Qingdao Aoshan Bay. The total carbon content (TC) concentration in marine sediments was obtained by chemical method. The spectral data of sediments were obtained by the spectrometer and the hyperspectral data were obtained by a hyperspectral imaging camera. With a spectrometer as the main instrument and a hyperspectral imaging camera as the slave instrument, the rapid measurement of carbon content in marine sediments was realized through the model transfer. Two model transfer algorithms were used: piecewise direct standardization, deviation model updating, and slope/bias correction method (PDS-DMP-S/B), and piecewise direct standardization, model updating, and slope/bias correction method (PDS-MP-S/B). Different modeling results were obtained by changing the proportion of the calibration set and test set and adding preprocessing. Compared with the single model transfer algorithm, PDS-MP-S/B and PDS-DMP-S/B were more effective. Standard normal variable transform (SNV) preprocessing had little effect on the modeling results in the model transfer between the spectrometer and hyperspectral imaging camera. After the data normalization of spectral data, all models were improved. When the ratio of the calibration set to the test set was 3:1, the PDS-DMP-S/B algorithm was used for the model transfer, the RP2 value of the modeling result was 0.693, the RMSEP value was 2.332, and the RPD value was 1.615, which achieved a relatively ideal modeling result. This study provides a new and fast method for predicting the carbon content in marine sediments.

There are no reliable measures for identifying self-healing failures in capacitors. Therefore, the high-voltage self-healing capacitor have not been widely adopted in power systems yet. It is urgent to study new scheme to protect the self-healing failure of high-voltage capacitors. Simulations tests and experiments were conducted to further assess self-healing of capacitors. The broken-down capacitor samples were connected into the test circuit with a vacuum contactor, and recorded the experimental phenomena and current wave-forms. The impedance changes were measured before and after the test, and calculated the active power dissipated by the sample. The test results showed that the insulation of self-healing failure sample temporarily restores or deteriorates rapidly. No visual defects are observed in the case of temporarily restored insulation, and the capacitor can continue to operate. However, if the insulation was deteriorated, unwanted gas generation, consisting of 85% H(2), potentially lead to smoke and fire. Our study showed no obvious correlation between impedance change and occurring self-healing phenomena. It is found that the process consumes a lot of active power in case of deterioration. Therefore, a method of capacitor self-healing failure protection based on active power variation was proposed.

In order to study the outdoor thermal comfort during the transition season in Hefei, a university in Hefei adopted a combination of field environmental measurements and questionnaires to study the changes in thermal sensation and thermal comfort of outdoor people before and after the transition season. The rankings of the effects of temperature, wind speed, humidity, and solar radiation on human thermal comfort were obtained through surveys, and the proportion of each parameter’s influence on human thermal comfort was analyzed. The relationship between thermal sensation and thermal comfort was analyzed, and the application was established through regression analysis Prediction model of thermal sensation in autumn and winter outdoor environment in Hefei area.

The saline soil distributed in Western Jilin Province could cause a serious of damages to local construction engineering and agriculture. The relationship between water content and soil suction has great influence on engineering properties, and effect the water migration and forming of saline soil. This paper aims to the saline soil in Zhenlai area of Western Jilin province, the basic properties test were taken in laboratory, and Arya-Paris prediction model were chosen to predict the SWCC of saline soil in Western Jilin. The results show that the 30cm soil sample has lower water holding capacity than the 50cm soil sample, which means the water migration rate is higher of 30cm. The results may provide theoretical support and beneficial reference for research and prediction of engineering properties and forming mechanism of saline soil.
