The current work describes how 2D layered materials, such as MoS 2 and WS 2 , might improve the de/re-hydrogenation kinetics of MgH 2. In the presence of WS 2 catalyst, desorption of MgH 2 begins at 277 °C, with a hydrogen storage capacity of 5.95 wt%, while the onset desorption temperature of MgH 2 catalyzed by MoS 2 is 330 °C. In just 1.3 min at 300 °C under 13 atm hydrogen pressure, the MgH 2 -WS 2 absorbed approximately 3.72 wt% of hydrogen, and in 20 min at 300 °C under 1 atm hydrogen pressure, it desorbed around ∼5.57 wt% of hydrogen. To ensure the cyclic stability up to 25 cycles of de/re-hydrogenation of the catalyzed MgH 2 , a continuously 25 cycles of dehydrogenation (under 1 atm hydrogen pressure at 300 °C) and rehydrogenation (under 13 atm hydrogen pressure at 300 °C) were carried out. As a result, MgH 2 -WS 2 exhibits superior cyclic stability than MgH 2 –MoS 2. In addition, with the de/re-hydrogenation kinetics, MgH 2 -WS 2 has a lower reaction activation energy (∼117 kJ/mol) than to other catalyzed and pristine samples. Rhizospheric microbes help plants to acquire and assimilate nutrients, improve soil texture and modulate extracellular molecules. Rhizosphere bacteria regularly encounter a copious number of variables, such as temperature, pH, nutrients, pest resistance mechanisms, etc. The extracellular concentration of chemical messengers fabricated by plant growth promoting bacteria (PGPB) in a system is directly proportional to the bacterial population. To dwindle the use of chemically synthesised pesticides, plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) are new arsenals of imperishable agricultural practises for managing plant pathogens and resistance. This review aims to harness the rhizosphere milieu to raise climate smart crops. The PGPB mediated hormonal control of plant stress management pathway could be potentially modified for the benefit of plants. Nutrient solubilisation strengthens the rhizomicrobiome for phytoremediation and pathogen control. Quorum sensing as well as the role of enzymes and siderophores in rhizo-microbiome has been discussed. With advent of metagenomics, the understanding of soil microbiome ecology has acquired new dimensions and has enabled us to modify the microbiome for sustainable agriculture and enhanced productivity. Magnesium hydride (MgH 2) is the mostly used material for solid-state hydrogen storage. However, their slow kinetics and highly unfavorable thermodynamics make them unsuitable for the practical applications. The current study describes the unusual catalytic action of a new class of catalyst, a high-entropy alloy (HEA) of Al 20 Cr 16 Mn 16 Fe 16 Co 16 Ni 16 and its leached version, on the de/re-hydrogenation properties of MgH 2. The onset desorption temperature of MgH 2 was reduced significantly from 360 °C (for ball-milled MgH 2) to 338 °C when it was catalyzed with a leached HEA-based catalyst. On the other hand, a fast de/re-hydrogenation kinetics of MgH 2 was observed during the addition of leached HEA-based catalyst. It absorbed ∼6.1 wt% of hydrogen in just 2 min at a temperature of 300 °C under 10 atm hydrogen pressure and desorbed ∼5.4 wt% within 40 min. At moderate temperatures and low pressure, the HEA-based catalyst reduced desorption temperatures and improved re-hydrogenation kinetics. Even after 25 cycles of de/re-hydrogenation, the storage capacity of MgH 2 catalyzed with the leached version of HEA degrades negligibly. Background: Primary non-Hodgkin's lymphoma with multiple extra- and intra-calvarial extensions without systemic spread in an immunocompetent patient is extremely rare. They masquerade commonly as meningioma and can present as mass lesions with raised intracranial pressure. Case Description: We report one such case of primary diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) in a young female involving the scalp, dural involvement in the right frontal region, left parietal, and posterior fossa and mimicking both clinically and radiologically as meningioma. She was managed surgically. Histological examination showed features suggestive of DLBCL (germinal center type). She was planned for adjuvant therapy. However, at 2 months following surgery, she succumbed due to systemic involvement of the disease. Conclusion: DLBCL is seen rarely in neurosurgical practice. They can present as tumors with adjacent extra- and intra-cranial masses. They pose a diagnostic challenge as it can be easily confused with meningioma. Tumor resection is performed to confirm diagnosis and in patients who present with raised intracranial pressure. Chemotherapy is the preferred treatment, and adjuvant therapy should be started early.
