In this paper, we obtain a converse duality theorem for higher order Wolfe type multiobjective programming with cone constraints under appropriate assumptions. This fills some gaps in the work of Kim et al. ABSTRACT: Purpose: The aim was to analyse the knowledge and awareness regarding Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) within the operational districts of two high-volume non-profit eye organisations in Uttar Pradesh. Challenges faced by beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries are also examined. Methods: A prospective cross-sectional survey from November 2021 to April 2022 was conducted across operational districts of organisations A and B. Cluster sampling was used to select participants in randomly selected villages with 200 or more households, within 10–15 km of existing vision centres. A semi-structured interview schedule was used to collect data. The means of AB-PMJAY indicators were estimated. Awareness was estimated as a summed score. Multivariate logistic regression was applied to check the effects of the socio-economic and socio-demographic factors on the awareness of AB-PMJAY for both organisations separately and together. Results: A total of 1151 participants were interviewed: 52.9% from the catchment area of organisation A and 47.1% from that of organisation B. From the catchment of organisations A and B, 82.6% and 22.9% participants, respectively, had heard of the scheme, mostly from family and friends. Whereas 43% interviewees from the catchment area of organisation A and 8.5% from that of organisation B had knowledge about at least one topic, only 8.5% and 2.8%, respectively, were knowledgeable about all topics. Village effect was found to be significant for most of the knowledge and awareness indicators in both catchments. Only 37.8% and 20.2% of the catchment from organisations A and B, respectively, were AB-PMJAY cardholders. Of the services availed, 50% were cataract surgery. Almost 40% of the applicants faced some challenges while securing the AB-PMJAY card and 9% while using the AB-PMJAY card. Family income was found to be the only common predictor of knowledge at both locations. Conclusion: Varied awareness and limited knowledge in catchment villages put the onus on community eyecare organisations to spread awareness in their catchment, which may increase the uptake and utilisation of the scheme. Background: Cosmetic Rhinoplasty is one of the most common facial plastic surgeries. Recognition of patients with psychological problems may affect the outcome of surgery. Carefully chosen cases may improve the patients' well-being. Objective: To analyze the existing literature for clinical studies and investigate the psychological implications and Quality of Life after Cosmetic rhinoplasty. Methods: A comprehensive review of the literature was performed using PubMed, Google Scholar, Mendeley and FindIt@MSP were searched between 2008 and 2023 in English text only. Included articles assessed the comparison between preoperative and postoperative psychological outcomes of cosmetic rhinoplasty as well as impact on QOL. Results: Of the 53 articles selected for screening, 16 were identified as meeting the inclusion criteria. Based on the literature, surgical intervention appears to have a positive effect on various psychological factors such as self-esteem, body image, depression, and anxiety. Additionally, evidence suggests significant improvements in QOL, mental health, social function, and postoperative satisfaction, accompanied by a reduction in psycho-social distress. Limitations: Factors such as monetary incentives for participation, lack of blinding, and self-reported measures within studies decrease the validity of results. Additionally, in some of the studies examined, there was an inability to isolate rhinoplasty procedures performed solely for cosmetic concerns. Conclusions: Cosmetic rhinoplasty has been long regarded as a transformative intervention with beneficial effects on self-esteem, body image, and mental well-being, encompassing reductions in depression and anxiety. The present study highlights the substantial improvements in QOL and social functioning post-rhinoplasty, accompanied by heightened overall satisfaction with appearance and diminished levels of psycho-social distress. These findings contribute valuable insights into the broader implications of cosmetic rhinoplasty beyond physical changes, emphasizing its potential for positively influencing psychological and emotional well-being. This work is motivated by the importance of vertical vibration in nanofluids suspension, because of its wide applications in heat exchangers from one fluid to another, controlling the mixing in microvolumes, pharmaceutical industry, and engineering. The current study analyzes the effects of high-frequency vertical vibration on a horizontal Casson nanofluid layer heated from below saturated between rigid-rigid, rigid-free, and free-free boundary conditions. Field equations are derived by using time-average method, which describes the vibrational thermo-convection. These field equations are solved by utilizing linear stability analysis and Galerkin technique to obtain the thermal stability curve. By using this curve, the impacts of vertical vibration and physical governing factors on temperature profile are discussed. High-frequency vertical vibration is observed to have a stabilizing effect on Casson nanofluid suspension, thereby reducing thermo-convective heat transfer from one fluid to another. Stability threshold of vibrated suspension is increased approximately as 5. 7 4 8 % and 8 1. 9 3 7 % when R v → 5 0 and R v → 1 0 0 , respectively. The significance of Brownian motion and thermophoretic force on convective heat transfer with vertical vibration is discussed. Background: Noncultured epidermal cell suspension (NCES) and Jodhpur technique (JT) are two treatment options in vitiligo, in which the basic principle is the transfer of melanocytes from uninvolved skin to stable vitiligo patch in the form of either tissue graft or cellular graft. Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate effectiveness of two different treatment methods (NCES and JT) in stable vitiligo. Materials and Methods: This was a randomized comparative study, which included 45 patients with 153 stable vitiligo patches. Cases were randomly divided into two groups. Appropriate statistical analysis was done. A value of P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: Of 45 cases, female-to-male ratio was 1.36:1. Mean duration of disease and stability were found to be 10.44±5.24 and 3.83±2.31 years, respectively. Mean size of treated area for NCES and JT was 10.11±10.31 and 10.13±10.29cm2, respectively. Earliest repigmentation was found at 3 weeks in NCES and 6 weeks in JT. At 6 weeks, repigmentation was better in NCES, whereas later JT showed better pigmentation. Follow-up was done at 8 days and 6, 10, 14, and 24 weeks. With respect to color match at 6 weeks, JT was found superior; however, at 24 weeks both showed similar efficacy. Mean reduction in daily life quality index was significantly decreased post-surgery. Limitations: This was a single-center, small sample size study. Conclusion: Melanocyte plus keratinocyte cell transfer is very effective in the treatment of stable vitiligo. On the basis of the results, JT may show significant contribution in vitiligo. Robust bi-level programming problems are a newborn branch of optimization theory. In this study, we have considered a bi-level model with constraint-wise uncertainty at the upper-level, and the lower-level problem is fully convex. We use the optimal value reformulation to transform the given bi-level problem into a single-level mathematical problem and the concept of robust counterpart optimization to deal with uncertainty in the upper-level problem. Necessary optimality conditions are beneficial because any local minimum must satisfy these conditions. As a result, one can only look for local (or global) minima among points that hold the necessary optimality conditions. Here we have introduced an extended non-smooth robust constraint qualification (RCQ) and developed the KKT type necessary optimality conditions in terms of convexifactors and subdifferentials for the considered uncertain two-level problem. Further, we establish as an application the robust bi-level Mond-Weir dual (MWD) for the considered problem and produce the duality results. Although a great deal of work has been done on bi-level programming problems (BPPs) during the last few decades, there is still a substantial gap in the literature on sufficient optimality conditions and duality results of BPPs. This article aims to develop sufficient optimality conditions and Mond-Weir-type dual for a multi-objective BPP from an optimistic perspective under the Guignard constraint qualification. Using the weighted sum scalarisation at the lower level and a special function at the upper level, we convert the multi-objective BPP to the corresponding single-objective BPP. With the help of optimal value reformulation, we reformulate the single-objective BPP as a single-level mathematical programming problem. Background: With wide clinical spectrum, multisystem inflammatory syndrome associated with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in children (MIS-C) is a relatively novel condition occurring weeks to months' post SARS-CoV-2 infection. The aim was to systematically review data on clinical features, laboratory parameters and therapeutics of MIS-C from India. Methods: This systematic review was done as per the PRISMA guidelines, and quality assessment was done using NIH tool for case-series. A systematic search through databases yielded studies whose data was pooled to calculate the mean frequencies with standard deviation using GraphPad software. Results: Screening of 2548 articles published till December, 2021, yielded 11 case-series. World Health Organization case definition was used widely. There was a slight preponderance of males (57%), median (IQR) age was 7 (6,7) years, 63% (n=305) required intensive care unit admissions, and mortality rate was 10% (n=261). Clinical features included fever, mucocutaneous features (72%), and gastrointestinal problems (62%) in majority. Widely used treatment was corticosteroids (76%) and intravenous immunoglobulin (62%) with other options depending on patient's state. An increased level of inflammatory markers and derangement in other parameters corroborated with disease status. Kawasaki disease like features, not reported in many studies, ranged from 4-76% of patients. Conclusion: MIS-C presents with a wide spectrum clinical features, increased inflammatory markers and managed as per the disease course and presentation. There are several classes of decision-making problems that explicitly or implicitly prompt fractional programming problems. Portfolio selection problems, agricultural planning, information transfer, numerical analysis of stochastic processes, and resource allocation problems are just a few examples. The huge number of applications of minimax fractional programming problems inspired us to work on this topic. This paper is concerned with a nondifferentiable minimax fractional programming problem. We study a parametric dual model, corresponding to the primal problem, and derive the sufficient optimality condition for an optimal solution to the considered problem. Further, we obtain the various duality results under (p, r)-ρ-(η, θ)-invexity assumptions. Also, we identify a function lying exclusively in the class of (−1, 1)-ρ-(η, θ)-invex functions but not in the class of (1, −1)-invex functions and convex function already existing in the literature. Background: Surgical treatment of vitiligo is reserved for stable recalcitrant vitiligo patches. Split-thickness skin grafting (STSG) is an important established modality for the surgical treatment of vitiligo, whereas autologous, non-cultured, non-trypsinized epidermal cell transplant, also known as Jodhpur technique (JT), is an unconventional innovative surgical modality for the treatment of stable vitiligo. Aims: To compare the two techniques, JT and STSG, with regards to the extent and pattern of repigmentation achieved, color matching of the repigmented area, patient satisfaction (Dermatology Life Quality Index [DLQI] questionnaire and patient global assessment), and adverse events (if any) in patients with stable vitiligo. Materials and Methods: It was a randomized comparative study. We randomized 32 patients with 180 stable vitiligo lesions into two groups. Patients in group 1 were treated with JT, and those in group 2 with STSG. They were subjectively evaluated 20 weeks post-surgery for the extent of repigmentation, color match, change in DLQI score, and patient satisfaction. The categorical data were presented as number (percent) and were compared among groups using Chi-square test. Mean and standard deviation were calculated for demographic data, and they were also compared by using student t-test. Probability P value < 0.001 was considered statistically significant. Results: The extent of repigmentation was excellent (90%--100% repigmentation) in 72.5% of lesions in the JT group and in 40% of lesions in the STSG group (P < 0.001). Seventy-five percent repigmentation (good repigmentation) was observed in 95% of lesions in the JT group and in 83.75% of lesions in the STSG group (P = 0.040). There was a highly significant decline in DLQI score. Post-procedure DLQI (0.79 ± 1.13) and pre-procedure DLQI (15.39 ± 4.76) in the JT group were compared with post-procedure DLQI (3.85 ± 2.89) and pre-procedure DLQI (16.19 ± 4.56) in the STSG group. The mean decline among groups differed significantly (P < 0.001). Adverse events were significantly higher in the STSG group at the recipient site. Background: Parthenium dermatitis is caused by friable plant extracts of Parthenium hysterophorus and related species. Approximately 40% of cases of plant dermatitis in India are contributed by this single species. Materials and Methods: This was a cross-sectional, observational study conducted in the Department of Dermatology of Jhalawar Medical College. Ninety-nine consecutive patch test positive parthenium dermatitis human subjects of age more than 16 and either sex were included. The study period was 11 months between September 2019 and August 2020. Sociodemographic, clinical profile parthenium dermatitis severity score (PDSS) and Dermatology life quality index (DLQI) were obtained from each patient. Correlation between PDSS and DLQI was obtained using Pearson's two-tailed coefficients. Results: Our study included 62 men and 37 women (1.67:1). The mean age was 51 ± 10.27 years. Mean duration of disease was 8.47 ± 4.45 years, and mean PDSS was 57.25 ± 17.65, mean DLQI was 17.14 ± 5.56. ABCD with CAD was the most common clinical subtype (45.45%). A significant positive correlation was observed between PDSS and DLQI. Conclusion: In this study, a significant impairment in quality of life (QoL) was observed in patients with higher score of PDSS and increasing duration, emphasizing that the disease needs specialized care including multiple indoor admission at the time of flare-up of disease. Computed tomography scan of the head was normal, but magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) brain showed multiple scalp hemangiomas, the largest being in the right posterior parietal region (size 16 mm × 6 mm), while underlying skull vault appears normal [Figure 3]. The red-colored raised lesion initially appeared in multiple mustard size, round, firm lesions, which progressed to almost pea-sized pedunculated lesions in 2-5 days and bled on touch/slightest trauma. There was the presence of a raised solid skin-colored lesion of size 2 cm and rubbery consistency over the right posterior parietal scalp diagnosed clinically as infantile hemangioma. The thermoelectric properties of a series of the polycrystalline samples of titanium dichalcogenides with partial substitution of Ti for Nb and S for Se were investigated. It was found that sintering of the samples improved the thermoelectric efficiency (ZT), and the maximum ZT was achieved at sintering temperature of 600°C. A further increase in the sintering temperature (850°C and 950°C) led to the recrystallization of the samples, as a result, the Seebeck coefficient sharply decreased and electrical conductivity dramatically increased. The temperature dependences of electrical conductivity σ(T) in the temperature range from 4.2 to 300 K and Seebeck coefficient S(T) in the temperature range from 77 to 300 K were investigated in order to determine the nature of the observed improvements in thermoelectric properties due to double substitutions and sintering. Two‐dimensionalization of electron transport properties of Ti1−xNbxS2−ySey solid solutions was found. The Fermi energy EF2D was estimated using the temperature dependences of Seebeck coefficient. The relationship between the Fermi energy EF2D and figure of merit ZT was established. The effect of sintering on parameters σ(T), S(T), charge carrier concentration (n2D), mobility (µ), and thermal conductivity (k) was found. The optimal value of Fermi energy EF2D in terms of figure of merit ZT = 0.31 at room temperature (T = 300 K) was found for Ti0.98Nb0.02S1.3Se0.7 sample sintered at 600°C. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Past research works in the area of customer loyalty are insufficient to provide clear understanding of linkage in attitudinal and behavioral loyalty. In order to explain this linkage, present research tests the relationship between two forms of customer loyalty: attitudinal and behavioral. The study employs survey methodology to collect the responses from 600 customers of health clinics, fitness centers, beauty salons, and convenience stores. The data were collected through a structured questionnaire with a series of statements based on a 7-point Likert scale. To examine the bilateral relationships, a non-recursive model was implemented using structural equation modeling in Amos 17.0 designed for data analytics. The results reveal that attitudinal loyalty drives behavioral loyalty, while behavioral to attitudinal loyalty has been insupportable across the sample collected from diverse service categories. The study provides insights about the design of marketing strategies in targeting customers' attitudinal loyalty, so that positive behavioral responses can be obtained to sustain the growth and profitability. This research adds value to the growing body of literature on customer loyalty by identifying the relationships between two broad dimensions: attitudinal and behavioral. Background: Pediatric dermatoses present as one of the most common clinical entities in dermatology clinics. They differ in clinical presentation and management from adults. Their prevalence and pattern differ from region to region due to several factors such as environmental, social, genetic, and cultural. Aims and Objective: The aim of the study was to determine the prevalence and pattern of various dermatoses among children of the age group 0–18 years in Southeast region of Rajasthan. Materials and Methods: Our study included 1000 cases of 0–18 years age group attending the dermatology outpatient and inpatient department of Government Medical College and attached group of hospitals, Kota. It was carried out from December 2017 to September 2018 (10 months). Appropriate history was taken, and a complete thorough examination was done as required. Relevant investigations were done, and all the findings were recorded in predesigned pro forma. Results: Our study included 560 males and 440 females of 1000 with the male-to-female ratio of 1.272:1. There were 553 urban and 447 rural participants. The patients were subgrouped in the age group of 0–1 year, 1–7 years, 8–12 years, and 13–18 years. The most prevalent dermatoses in 0–1 year age group were eczematous disorders (31.91%). Viral infections were predominant in 26.08% and 23.47% in the age groups of 1–7 years and 8–12 years, respectively. The most common dermatoses in the age group of 13–18 years were disorders of sweat and sebaceous glands (20.15%). Conclusion: Our study demonstrates variability of dermatoses among pediatric patients according to their age groups. This information should contribute to raising the awareness of pediatricians and dermatologists regarding the most common dermatological diagnosis in those patient populations. Although Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome (KTS) is an infrequently seen dermatological disorder with plethora of associations. It is largely a clinical diagnosis made by the presence of at least two of the three classic findings. We are reporting a 16-year-old male child who presented to us with the limb hypertrophy, portwine stains, congenital heart disease, and bony abnormality. Ichthyosis and psoriasis both are inherently considered as disorders of abnormal keratinization. X-linked recessive ichthyosis (XLRI) is a genetic disorder, while psoriasis is sporadic in most cases. The underlying pathophysiology for their occurrence in the same patient is not well understood but may be attributed to genetic modifications or epigenetics. We hereby report a case of a 14-year-old male child with psoriasis vulgaris in the setting of XLRI. To our best knowledge, it has not been reported in the English literature to date. The article presents a case study of a 42-year-old male presented with the multiple, asymptomatic, progressive hyperpigmented macules and pits over the face, neck, and flexures of the upper and lower limb for 20 years. Topics include the lesions were progressive with the appearance of keratotic papules on the face that healed with pitted scars, the family history of similar lesions was present in 3 of 8 members, and the personal and family history of atopy was present.

Subcorneal pustular dermatosis (SPD), first described by Sneddon and Wilkinson, represents a rare chronic and relapsing sterile pustular eruptions generally involving the trunk and flexor aspect of limbs. Usually, it affects middle-aged or elderly women. Histologically, it is characterized by the accumulation of subcorneal neutrophils with an absence of spongiosis and acantholysis. Here, we are reporting a rare case of SPD in the pediatric age group, which was diagnosed based on clinical and histological findings. We gave dapsone in treatment with a positive outcome. Anterior cervical hypertrichosis (ACH) is a very rare form of primary localized hypertrichosis. It is characterized by a tuft of terminal hairs on the anterior neck just above the laryngeal prominence. Although it frequently presents with an isolated defect, it can be associated with other abnormalities. Here, we report the case of a 12-year-old girl who presented to our outdoor with a complaint of localized excessive hairs over the anterior aspect of the neck. She also gave a history of the persistence of irregular hyperpigmented areas on the right cheek. The diagnosis of ACH with linear and whorled nevoid hypermelanosis was made. Their concurrence might be coincidental. So far, ACH associated with linear whorled nevoid hypermelanosis has not been reported in the literature. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Trichilemmal carcinoma is a rare malignant adnexal neoplasm of follicular type usually seen over the sun-exposed areas of elderly people. We present a report of a 60-year-old male with ulceroproliferative lesion over the occipital region of the scalp for 2 months, clinically diagnosed as squamous cell carcinoma. A wide local excision was done, and histopathological examination showed atypical clear cells with abrupt keratinization. The histogenesis and other differential diagnoses are discussed. Gastric cancer is the third most common cause of cancer deaths in the world, prompting high-risk countries like South Korea and Japan to establish nationwide screening programmes. Helicobacter pylori is linked to the majority of gastric adenocarcinoma cases and to the vast majority of non-cardia gastric adenocarcinomas. Several studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of 'test-and-treat' programmes for H. pylori infection to prevent gastric cancer in high-risk populations. While this strategy has gained momentum, providers in low-risk developed countries may be unaware of the risk individual patients face, particularly those who have emigrated from high-risk regions and members of economically disadvantaged minority groups. Rapidly evolving science in recent years has made it difficult for clinicians to keep up with the current best practices. Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to propose a model to understand the role of customer relationship management efforts in building, sustaining and enhancing customer loyalty (CL). Design/methodology/approach – This paper reviews extant literature in customer relationship management (CRM), customer experience management (CEM) and CL, with a particular emphasis on exploring the relationships between these proposed domains. Findings – The CRM efforts, customer acquisition, retention and experience, are suggested to have positive influence on attitudinal and behavioural loyalty. A model for testing the associations of customer relationship efforts to various forms of CL, including the satisfaction, trust and commitment as mediators in CRM-CL link are proposed. Research limitations/implications – This paper represents a first attempt to build and propose a conceptual framework of CRM–CL. This is an indicative research than a conclusive one. Therefore, research implications are to perform the empirical testing of model in different business environments. Practical implications – This application of proposed model in a business environment will be helpful for the marketing practitioners to well understand the customers’ changing expectations as well as to prioritize the marketing functions. The emphasis and right calculation about the acquisition, retention and experience decisions would be helpful to marketers to know the expected profitability of customers. Brassinosteroids (BRs) are a class of steroidal plant hormones that play diverse roles in plant growth and developmental processes. Recently, the easy availability of biological resources, and development of new molecular tools and approaches have provided the required impetus for deeper understanding of the processes involved in BRs biosynthesis, transport, signaling and degradation pathways. From recent studies it is also evident that BRs interact with other phytohormones such as auxin, cytokinin, ethylene, gibberellin, jasmonic acid, abscisic acid, salicylic acid and polyamine in regulating wide range of physiological and developmental processes in plants. The inputs from these studies are now being linked to the versatile roles of BRs. The present review highlights the conceptual development with regard to BR homeostasis, signaling and its crosstalk with other phytohormones. The present study aimed to examine the relationship between personality and mental health of male and female army officers. The demand for increased crop productivity and the predicted challenges related to plant survival under adverse environmental conditions have renewed the interest in research in root biology. Various physiological and genetic studies have provided ample evidence in support of the role of plant growth regulators in root development. The biosynthesis and transport of auxin and its signaling play a crucial role in controlling root growth and development. The univocal role of auxin in root development has established it as a master regulator. Other plant hormones, such as cytokinins, brassinosteroids, ethylene, abscisic acid, gibberellins, jasmonic acid, polyamines and strigolactones interact either synergistically or antagonistically with auxin to trigger cascades of events leading to root morphogenesis and development. In recent years, the availability of biological resources, development of modern tools and experimental approaches have led to the advancement of knowledge in root development. Research in the areas of hormone signal perception, understanding network of events involved in hormone action and the transport of plant hormones has added a new dimension to root biology. The present review highlights some of the important conceptual developments in the interplay of auxin and other plant hormones and associated downstream events affecting root development. Background: As generalized pruritus can be a symptom of a systemic disease, iron deficiency may be the underlying internal cause of its symptoms. Because data on the relationship between iron deficiency and generalized chronic pruritus are limited, more research is needed to ensure proper diagnosis and management. Aims: To evaluate the prevalence of iron deficiency in patients with generalized chronic pruritus in the southeast region of Rajasthan and to assess the correlation of serum ferritin with iron deficiency variables. Materials and Methods: An observational, analytical study was conducted among a total of 200 patients complaining of itching all across the body without any skin lesions for more than 6 weeks and enrolled in the outdoor and indoor Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprology departments of the Government Medical College, Kota. The duration of the study experiment was 1 year from June 2018 to May 2019. Results: Females (108; 54%) were more than males (92; 46%) with a ratio of 1.17:1. The mean age of the patients was 37.35 ± 13.56. S. ferritin was found to be below 15 g/L in 58 (29%) patients. Significant correlation was found between S. ferritin and hemoglobin, MCV, MCH, and MCHC, and the P value was <0.05. Maximum number of patients (70; 35%) achieved visual analog scale (VAS) scores between 4 and 9, followed by 50 (25%) patients obtaining scores >9. Similarly, a correlation was found between the VAS score and hemoglobin, MCV, MCH, and MCHC and a statistically significant P value was obtained. Limitations: The sample size was small in the study. The overall levels of iron and serum transferrin were not checked, keeping patients' compliance in mind. Conclusion: Although statistically significant results were found, limitations were also present in our study; so, further studies for proper diagnosis and management should be conducted in greater depth. Plants remodel their root architecture in response to a salinity stress stimulus. This process is regulated by an array of factors including phytohormones, particularly auxin. In the present study, in order to better understand the mechanisms involved in salinity stress adaptation in rice, we compared two contrasting rice cultivars—Luna Suvarna, a salt tolerant, and IR64, a salt sensitive cultivar. Phenotypic investigations suggested that Luna Suvarna in comparison with IR64 presented stress adaptive root traits which correlated with a higher accumulation of auxin in its roots. The expression level investigation of auxin signaling pathway genes revealed an increase in several auxin homeostasis genes transcript levels in Luna Suvarna compared with IR64 under salinity stress. Furthermore, protein profiling showed 18 proteins that were differentially regulated between the roots of two cultivars, and some of them were salinity stress responsive proteins found exclusively in the proteome of Luna Suvarna roots, revealing the critical role of these proteins in imparting salinity stress tolerance. This included proteins related to the salt overly sensitive pathway, root growth, the reactive oxygen species scavenging system, and abscisic acid activation. Taken together, our results highlight that Luna Suvarna involves a combination of morphological and molecular traits of the root system that could prime the plant to better tolerate salinity stress.
