Business environment adaptation is crucial to market longevity and sustainability. The COVID-19 pandemic catalyzed a global paradigm shift in remote services which led to technology and service innovations that impacted organizations, leaders, and employees. The resulting impacts have required organizational leaders to consider new market entry strategies, employees to consider new processes and procedures, and both to learn new technologies and capabilities. This case study examines and provides recommendations to Premier Mental Therapy with a focus on leadership, organizational, change management, and strategy theories to mitigate risks to mental health services resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and increase sustainability and revenue. Marketing and networking strategies are introduced as tools to lower barriers to entry into technology driven healthcare markets. RACI charts are recommended for roles and responsibilities definition, and balanced scorecard is recommended for performance measurement and awareness. We present the discovery and characterization of six short-period, transiting giant planets from NASA's Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) -- TOI-1811 (TIC 376524552), TOI-2025 (TIC 394050135), TOI-2145 (TIC 88992642), TOI-2152 (TIC 395393265), TOI-2154 (TIC 428787891), and TOI-2497 (TIC 97568467). All six planets orbit bright host stars (8.9 < G < 11.8, 7.7 < K < 10.1). Using a combination of time-series photometric and spectroscopic follow-up observations from the TESS Follow-up Observing Program Working Group, we have determined that the planets are Jovian-sized (RP  = 0.99--1.45 RJ), have masses ranging from 0.92 to 5.26 MJ, and orbit F, G, and K stars (4766 ≤ Teff ≤ 7360 K). We detect a significant orbital eccentricity for the three longest-period systems in our sample: TOI-2025 b (P  = 8.872 d, 0.394 |$^{+0.035}_{-0.038}$|⁠), TOI-2145 b (P  = 10.261 d, e  =  |$0.208^{+0.034}_{-0.047}$|⁠), and TOI-2497 b (P  = 10.656 d, e  =  |$0.195^{+0.043}_{-0.040}$|⁠). TOI-2145 b and TOI-2497 b both orbit subgiant host stars (3.8 < log  g <4.0), but these planets show no sign of inflation despite very high levels of irradiation. The lack of inflation may be explained by the high mass of the planets; |$5.26^{+0.38}_{-0.37}$| MJ (TOI-2145 b) and 4.82 ± 0.41 MJ (TOI-2497 b). These six new discoveries contribute to the larger community effort to use TESS to create a magnitude-complete, self-consistent sample of giant planets with well-determined parameters for future detailed studies. This study investigates undergraduate students' perceptions of the content, difficulty, and value of the Communication major. Students in majors other than Communication from two universities indicated that the content of the Communication major was valuable and, in some cases, involved difficult tasks. However, the major was perceived as easier than any other compared discipline. The students surveyed demonstrated low to moderate belief in most popular "myths" regarding Communication as an academic field. A number of potential strategies to increase awareness of the value of a degree in communication are provided, which can be adapted for use with existing departmental marketing strategies. An experiment was conducted from the perspective of the Extended Parallel Process Model (EPPM) investigating readers' responses to print news stories about the issue of bed bugs. Stories containing reference to (a) the threat of bed bugs and (b) efficacy of the solution were manipulated to vary the level of certainty with which the variables were discussed. Results suggest that stories referencing uncertainty regarding presence of the bed-bug threat may be more likely to motivate intention to seek information than stories referencing certainty of the threat. Results also suggest that stories referencing uncertainty regarding feasibility/effectiveness of proposed solutions may be more likely to motivate intention to avoid information than stories referencing certainty of proposed solutions. Given that information avoidance is one of various types of maladaptive responses to fear appeal messages (according to EPPM), results suggest that the presence of uncertainty when discussing solutions to threats in news stories might result in problematic avoidance responses that discourage people from taking protective action. The eclipsing and strongly interacting binary star system R Arae (HD 149730) is in a very active and very short-lived stage of its evolution. R Ara consists of a B9V primary and an unknown secondary. We have collected the International Ultraviolet Explorer ( IUE) archival data on R Ara, with most of the data being studied for the first time. There are 117 high-resolution IUE spectra taken in 1980, 1982, 1985, 1989 and 1991. We provide photometric and spectroscopic evidence for mass transfer and propose a geometry for the accretion structure. We use colour-scale radial velocity plots to view the complicated behaviour of the blended absorption features and to distinguish the motions of hotter and cooler regions within the system. We observed a primary eclipse of R Ara in 2008 and have verified that its period is increasing. A model of the system and its evolutionary status is presented. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The light curves of many Algol-type binary stars are complicated with strange variations. Secular variations are due to the transient nature of the accretion structure, while the phase-dependent features, such as outside-of-eclipse dips, are likely geometrical effects of the accretion structure eclipsing the primary star. Presented here is a model of the ultraviolet light curve of R Arae that explains these variations through the combination of an eccentric accretion structure and the system's orbital inclination.The orbital period of R Ara is 4.4 days, which is too long to allow for direct impact of the mass transfer stream onto the primary star, but not long enough for a stable accretion disk to form. Such intermediate-period Algols are good candidates in which to find transient and eccentric accretion structures. Other examples of interacting Algols that exhibit outside-of-eclipse dips in their light curves include RV Oph (Porb.=3.7 days) and Y Psc (Porb.=3.9 days).In order to more accurately model eccentric accretion structures with synthetic light curves, especially at visible (and longer) wavelengths, more work must be done to account for emission by the parts of the accretion structure that are not in the line of sight to the primary star.
