This study aims to assess personal creativity and the development of higher-order thinking skills in improvisation. The authors evaluated higher-order thinking skills in music improvisation and creativity of improvised musical compositions. The results of the t-test showed significant progress in both creativity and thinking skills among students after the intervention. In general, the indicators of creativity, higher-order thinking skills, motivation and self-efficacy of students correlate well with each other. The strongest correlation was between creativity and general musical creative self-efficacy. There was a negative correlation between amotivation and these two traits: creativity and higher-order thinking. In general, the results of the study suggest that students acquired the skills of comparing, judging, planning, generalising and using previous knowledge to create a new product. It is a promising solution for real-time multitarget tracking to implement particle cardinality balanced multitarget multi-Bernoulli (CBMeMBer) filters in hardware platforms. However, this solution is difficult to materialize since there is a contradiction between the time-varying number of Bernoulli intensity components in CBMeMBer filters and the limited number of particles in hardware platforms. Moreover, real-time hardware implementation requires a resampling procedure that is suitable for parallel processing, while the existing parallel resampling algorithms oversimplify this procedure, resulting in estimation performance degradation. In this paper, we propose an optimization algorithm of particle allocation to overcome the above-mentioned contradiction, and a parallel resampling algorithm to improve the estimation performance. In this work, the metabolic characteristics of adipose tissues in live mouse model were investigated using a multiphoton redox ratio and fluorescence lifetime imaging technology. By analyzing the intrinsic fluorescence of metabolic coenzymes, we measured the optical redox ratios of adipocytes in vivo and studied their responses to thermogenesis. The fluorescence lifetime imaging further revealed changes in protein bindings of metabolic coenzymes in the adipocytes during thermogenesis. Our study uncovered significant heterogeneity in the cellular structures and metabolic characteristics of thermogenic adipocytes in brown and beige fat. Subgroups of brown and beige adipocytes were identified based on the distinct lipid size distributions, redox ratios, fluorescence lifetimes and thermogenic capacities. The results of our study show that this label‐free imaging technique can shed new light on in vivo study of metabolic dynamics and heterogeneity of adipose tissues in live organisms.
