Traffic problems in China's river–valley-type cities are prominent. In order to solve these traffic problems, this paper presents four aspects of motorists' terrain spatial perception according to the characteristics of river–valley-type cities. Based on the structural equation model (SEM), four-dimensional terrain spatial perception is reduced by second-order confirmatory factor analysis. The SEM–Logit model was constructed to analyze the influences of individual socioeconomic attributes, objective built-environment attributes, travel characteristics, and terrain spatial perception on Park and Ride (P&R) use behavior, as well as the moderating effects of terrain spatial perception. The results show that the four latent variables can explain the terrain spatial perception of motorists in river–valley-type cities well. Objective built environments and motorists' subjective terrain spatial perception have significant impacts on the use of P&R facilities in river–valley-type cities. The terrain spatial perception of motorists in a river–valley-type city moderates the impact of work–residence distance, road slope, river crossing demand, group travel, departure time, and the time saved on P&R use behavior. To study the problems related to two-stage degradation characteristics of locomotive wheels, a two-stage Wiener process-based method for predicting the remaining service life was proposed. The wheel rim degradation model was established by using a two-stage Wiener process model, and the individual differences in the wheel degradation process were characterized by the random drift coefficient. The expectation maximum (EM) algorithm and Bayesian theory were used to achieve offline parameter estimation and online updating of the degradation model parameters. The change point in the wheel degradation process was determined and found via the Schwarz information criterion (SIC). Finally, an example of wheel rim degradation data from a certain locomotive was used for validation. The results show that, compared with the single-stage degradation model, the two-stage degradation model considering the change point is more in line with the field reality, and the prediction accuracy at 80% of the life quantile of the wheel is improved by 9.42%. The prediction of the remaining service life can provide a certain theoretical basis for the optimization of the wheel turning cycle. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

According to the requirements for underground multi-system fusion of Technology schemes of upgrading of coal mine safety monitoring and control system, and for the problem that fusion degree of underground monitoring and control system was not high, a new fusion sub-station with multi-communication interface and multi-sensor interface was designed. Based on the new fusion sub-station, an underground multi-system fusion method for coal mine safety monitoring and control was proposed. The fusion method adopts the new fusion sub-station to realize link level fusion, device level fusion and shared data level fusion according to field equipment acquisition interfaces, communication interfaces and fusion degree of different systems. The link level fusion can realize fusion of multiple sensor acquisition interfaces, device level fusion can realize equipment fusion of different systems, shared data level fusion can realize data sharing between different systems.

The article presents papers discussing a study on alunite short-wave-infrared (SWIR) mapping for tracing fluid pathways of the Zijinshan copper (Cu)- gold (Au) Deposit, Fujian, China. It mentions that the alunite with the highest wavelength of absorption feature gives the indication for potential porphyry-type targets in the deep. It mentions that the extensive data can solve the problem caused by the occurrences and overprinting of multi-stage oreforming fluid.
