The biodiversity of pool ecosystems is nowadays fully dependent on building of new ones or reconstructing the damaged ones. Among the factors influencing the potential of being colonised are the habitat's local characteristics including abiotic and biotic factors. One of the most important key roles in the food chains of freshwaters play zooplankton and its high dispersal rate makes them successful colonists of new habitats. Together with phytoplankton and nutrient content development, the state and following evolution of pool ecosystem can be assessed. The aim of this study was to survey initial zooplankton succession of newly built pools and to assess the main influencers on its colonisation success. Two newly built pools (Pool 1 and Pool 4) with different morphometric characteristics were monthly sampled for zooplankton, phytoplankton and physico-chemical characteristics. Zooplankton individuals were sorted according to taxa and stage as cladocerans, copepods (adults), nauplii and rotifers; and according to size structure as follows: < 0.5 mm, 0.5-1 mm, 1-2 mm and > 2 mm. Phytoplankton species were sorted in five categories: cyanobacteria, cryptomonads, green algae, diatoms and other algae. Basic physico-chemical parameters were measured and nutrient analysis were carried out. In Pool 1, first colonists were rotifers, followed by various cladoceran taxa. Rapid increase of large cladoceran species occurred in late spring. Till the end of the survey, rotifers together with nauplii predominated. Larger copepods were constantly present since late spring. In Pool 4, first colonists were rotifers, followed by copepod nauplii which predominated till the end of survey. Larger zooplankton species peaked in summer. In the first season after inundation, the presence of a massive biomass of charophytes and subsequently green filamentous algae was crucial for the development of the communities in both pools - significantly reduced the development of phytoplankton, caused high water clarity and affected the development of zooplankton. Because there were nutrients released from the sediment nutrient pool inflicted by fertilisation of intensively farmed field, significant fluctuations in pool ecosystem were observed. Also the morphometric characteristics of the pool, such as size, shape, depth and slope of the shores indicated the suitability of the habitat for successful zooplankton colonisation.

In 2013, an ichthyological investigation with focus on the population of brown trout (Salmo trutta m. fario) in Moravice River above Slezská Harta dam reservoir in 6 localities of two salmonid fisheries was conducted (3 locations in fishery Moravice 7 and 3 locations in fishery Moravice 8). Ichthyological investigation in 2013 found abundance of brown trout in fishery Moravice 7 1,621 pcs/ha, in fishery Moravice 8 668 pcs/ha. These results were compared with the results of ichthyological investigations from 2004 (Spurný et al. 2006) and 2012 (unpublished data) that were conducted in the same locations of salmonid fisheries of Moravice 7 and Moravice 8. Over 10 years the size structure of brown trout population has changed, which was shown as higher proportion of juvenile fish in size (TL) to 15 cm. The average abundance of brown trout with TL up to 15 cm reached in fishery Moravice 7 in 2004 15 pcs/ha (Spurný et al. 2006), in 2013 1,039 pcs/ha, in fishery Moravice 8 in 2004 719 pcs/ha and in 2012 2,234 pcs/ha. Change in size structure of population of brown trout in monitored localities between 2004, 2012 and 2013 was evaluated as statistically significant (d. f. 10; F = 12.8; P < 0.05). Ichthyologic investigations in 2004 (Spurný et al. 2006), 2012 (unpublished data) and 2013 determined also abundance of brown trout in fishing size (TL over 25 cm): 54 pcs/ha in 2004 (Spurný et al. 2006), in 2012 (unpublished data) 41 pcs/ha, and in 2013 56 pcs/ha. These values were compared with catches of anglers, and according to the results we can say that the fishing pressure had no effect on the abundance of brown trout in fishing size. Abundance of brown trout in salmonid fisheries Moravice 7 and Moravice 8 is probably affected by drought and occurrence of piscivorous predators.

The aim of the research was to prove the methods of the cluster analysis, which have already been used by a number of scientific disciplines, are usable also in tourism. The cluster analysis is a mathematical statistical method which allows a set of objects of input data matrix to be divided into several clusters. Measures of distance are used to evaluate similarity of the objects. Euclidean distance can be used for quantitative variables. Tourism potential has been studied by a number of authors here and abroad, see bibliography. A district (Czech: okres) has been chosen as basic spatial unit in our research. The advantage of this approach is the possibility of using a public database of CZSO (Czech Statistical Office) which is the most important source of input data. Furthermore the data published by the Institute for Spatial Development in Brno have been used, the tourism potential of individual districts has been specified by the methods of cluster analysis, and the districts have been divided into six groups. Conformity of these groups with reality proves the appropriateness of the method used.

Violence in the Bible became a sore point in our times. There are thousands of killed enemies of Jews in the ninth chapter of the book of Esther. Was Esther really a bloodthirsty queen? Are Jews really a violent nation? Civil war depicted in the book of Esther is historically not verifiable in the persian kingdom. Referred violence functions as a „counter-history“ (J. Assmann). The past is discribed from the point of view of the beatened and oppressed in the manner that the oppressors appear as pitiful persons and the winners as beatened. The biblical text does not celebrate the violence, it wants to prevent such events as annihilation of the whole nation.
