EXTRACT: Most information about family assessment are gathered during home visits have many benefits. One of them is that information about structure and habits of families may be more real when you observe the house and around it to find supportive and obstacles for promotion of family health. In addition family members are often more comprehensive in their home and can better act for their needs. Loveland and Cherry introduced five phases for home visit: 1) initiating home visit, in which the nurse distinguishes the goal of visit, 2) the pre-visit phase, which usually begins with a phone contact politely, 3) in-home phase, in which the nurse should be aware of negative feeling of family related to visit, 4) termination phase, in which the nurse evaluate the effectiveness of visits, and 5) post-visit phase, in which the nurse prepare a report.

this research is a cross sectional study conducted to survey of young women knowledge about menopause and prevention of its complication in Kerman healthy centers. A questionnaire including 36 three optional items prepared by researcher and given to subject via reference to healthy centers. Result show that most subjects had not favorable knowledge about menopause and prevention of its complication. Result also show that education level of female and their spouses had no effect on their knowledge about menopause and prevention of its complication.

This work reports incorporation of Mentha longifolia in a silane coating to improve active corrosion protection. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) were employed to characterize the chemical structure of extract. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) revealed that superlative corrosion resistance of silane primer was achieved at 200 ppm inhibitor concentration. DC polarization and open circuit potential (OCP) measurements confirmed the EIS results. The effect of inhibitor concentration on the crosslinking density was evaluated by FTIR and its subsequent effect on the coating wettability was assessed by water droplet contact angle method. The protective performance of the artificially defected bilayer coating system (silane + epoxy) assessed by EIS and surface analysis showed an improvement in the anticorrosion properties of silane formulated with 200 ppm extract due to the corrosion reaction restriction. Eighty percent of primiparous women are faced with sexual problems after delivery and two thirds of them experiences the problem for 6 months.To determine sexual problems resulting from delivery in primiparous women.This was a cross-sectional study in which sexual problems of primiparous women after delivery were determined. Primary data were collected through questionnaires.Through consecutive sampling, 160 primiparous women were selected.The findings showed painful penetration, dyspareunia, itching after intercourse, lack of vaginal lubrication, loss of sexual desire, difficulty in reaching orgasm and increased anal sexual relation after delivery (p<0.05). There was significant relation between decreased sexual desire and marriage duration, pain during intercourse with number of intercourse per week, pain during intercourse with time of first intercourse, and anal sexual relation with kind of delivery (p<0.05).Data indicated that sexual problem was increased after delivery. It is recommended that sexual problems after delivery be placed on the list of health teaching issues. It is also suggested that sexual problems of men be investigated. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Urinary tract infection UTI(s) is one of the most common types of infection in young women and is a public sanitary problem of many countries. It is estimated that 20-30 percent of women with a first UTI will have recurrent infection. The incidence is mostly in young women, and the disease can not be explained by underlying functional or anatomical abnormalities. So many researchers have focused on the habits, behavioral or genetic factors. Therefore, inorder to evaluate the individual factors predisposing to UTI(s) in married Women, a case- control study was carried out, and data wase gathered through questionnaires. Selected through a continuous sampling method, 400 women between the age of 14-45 were the contributers of this study. Through which, 200, belonged to the case group, and the rest were considered as the control group. As a result, meaningful statistically relationships were found between history of UTI diagnosis (P=0.001), and also previous use of antibiotics within 15-30 days prior entering the study (P=0.003) with the existed UTI. Overall, considering that the previous UTI diagnosis, and also usage of antibiotics were found to be the predisposing factors, it is recommended to list them as health teaching issues by the authorities, furthermore, other studies should be conducted to reveal the factors which cause first and recurrent UTI(s) separately. A prospective cohort study, by record information about individual predisposing factors in daily diaries is suggested.

Background: Assessing the reasons of referring and not referring to O.P.D (outpatients department) and the satisfaction level of the clients can be one of the health promotion aims, because selection of the health system or the health provider, is the result of one’s level of satisfaction. Objective: Assessing the reasons of referring and not referring of satisfied and unsatisfied women from health services to O.P.D (s), and the role of personal variables in this matter. Design: This was a field study Research, in which the reasons of referring and not referring of satisfied and unsatisfied women from health services, were determined by using a questionnaire. Sample: 419 women between the age of 17 to 50 years were assigned in two referring (270) and not referring (149) groups. Among the first group we had 230 satisfied and 40 unsatisfied and in second one (108 satisfied and 41 unsatisfied) clients. All Residences of western region of Tehran. Results: The results showed that 80.7% of all cases were completely satisfied with the health services, they had had received, and the remaining 19.3% were not satisfied. The reasons of referring in both satisfied and unsatisfied groups were as follow: need of health services, efficiency and usefulness of the medical care, good support of the staff, availability of all kinds of medical assistance in the center, their confidence in services, charge free appropriate quality and availability. Only 3.5% referred because they had friends or relatives who were working there. The reasons of not referring in satisfied and unsatisfied groups were as fallow: long way between the center and home, lack of the participation of clients in their health promotion program, anarchy, rush of personnel limitation of services, having a pereferance for a private physician. The results showed a significant relationship between some of the referring reasons. Background : The attachment between mother and child is one of the most beautiful relationship which is establishes long before birth. A mother who is attached to her fetus is ready to have a good relationship with her newborn. Objective : To determine the effect of touching fetus during pregnancy on maternal fetal and maternal newborn attachment. Design : The study was a single blind controlled clinical trial. Maternal total attachment was measured 2 weeks after abdominal touch in case group and compared with that of control group. Mother's attachment with her newborn was measured at first breast feeding in both groups. Samples : 100 primigravida mother, 32-35 week pregnant randomly divided in two groups, 50 mothers in case group (with fetal touch) and 50 in control group (without fetal touch) Results : There was no significant difference between two group regarding fetal attachment behaviors, but maternal newborn attachment behaviors were significantly improved in case group (p=0.000). Conclusion : Regarding findings, it is suggested that by providing simple interferences, such as touching the fetus on can try to strengthen the relation between mother and her newborn.

Background and Purpose: Acute renal colic is a common complaint from patients entering the emergency departments. Although, urethral lithotripsy and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy are known to be effective, the role of medical-expulsive therapy for the treatment of this disease has not yet been established. This study assessed the clinical efficacy of addition methylprednisolon acetate in the medical-expulsive therapy of distal ureterolithiasis. Materials and Methods: Eighty five (85) consecutive patients with a symptomatic distal urethral stone were included in our study and randomized to one of two home treatment groups. Group A patients (n = 45) received tramadol (50mg bid) and hydrochiorothiazide (50 mg daily) for 21 days, and group B patients (n = 40) were treated with a corticosteroid drug (methyiprednisolon acetate 40mg intra-muscular on 0, 7 and 14 days after treatment), in addition to tramadol and hydrochlorothiazide. The treatment duration was 21 days. All patients were re-evaluated after 2ldays with a clinical examination and KUB. Results: The mean stone size was 5.2mm and 5.8mm in groups A and B respectively (P value>0.05). Both groups had a significant difference in expulsion rate (20(44.4%) for group A and 32 (88%) for group B; (P value<0.00l). Conclusion: Our results suggest that the use of a corticosteroid drug in association with tramadol and hydro-cholorothiazid appeared to induce an increase in the expulsion rate. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
