The castle of Ademuz constitutes a relevant heritage value of this spanish town and of the Rincón de Ademuz municipal district and is a key element to understand the configuration of the village and its importance as a defensive town throughout history. However, the lack of documents about the castle and its lamentable condition make it a largely unknown monument. Actions are currently implemented to reverse this alarming situation and the drafting of the Master Plan of the Castle of Ademuz has been the first step to raise awareness about its recovery and enhancement. The Master Plan has summarized the existing documentary information about the castle and its legal and urban situation as a step prior to its constructive and formal analysis. The graphic survey carried out in the drafting of the Master Plan constitutes an unpublished knowledge contribution on this property, which has allowed us to establish hypotheses about its compositional traces and to guide the lines of action for its recovery.This unprecedented graphic survey will also allow defining each of the lines of action of the Master Plan, from the structural consolidation of the remains of the castle to the conditioning of the spaces that surround it, as well as its cultural dissemination through the new digital technologies linked to virtual reality and augmented reality, among others. The objective is to enhance this architectural heritage through its knowledge and dissemination, so that this legacy is preserved for future generations.DOI: https://doi.org/10.20365/disegnarecon.30.2023.26

Las relaciones que la arquitectura contemporánea plantea frente a las condiciones del lugar hacen de su representación un tema de reflexión y de innovación gráfica. En este artículo se propone una clasificación de modelos gráficos que recojan estas nuevas condiciones ambiguas de relación exterior- interior. Modelos gráficos que proponen límites indeterminados y que hacen de la comunicación de lo arquitectónico un proceso gráfico abierto.

Abstract Background Correlation network analysis has become an integral tool to study metabolite datasets. Networks are constructed by omitting correlations between metabolites based on two thresholds—namely the r and the associated p-values. While p-value threshold settings follow the rules of multiple hypotheses testing correction, guidelines for r-value threshold settings have not been defined. Results Here, we introduce a method that allows determining the r-value threshold based on an iterative approach, where different networks are constructed and their network topology is monitored. Once the network topology changes significantly, the threshold is set to the corresponding correlation coefficient value. The approach was exemplified on: (i) a metabolite and morphological trait dataset from a potato association panel, which was grown under normal irrigation and water recovery conditions; and validated (ii) on a metabolite dataset of hearts of fed and fasted mice. For the potato normal irrigation correlation network a threshold of Pearson’s |r|≥ 0.23 was suggested, while for the water recovery correlation network a threshold of Pearson’s |r|≥ 0.41 was estimated. For both mice networks the threshold was calculated with Pearson’s |r|≥ 0.84. Conclusions Our analysis corrected the previously stated Pearson’s correlation coefficient threshold from 0.4 to 0.41 in the water recovery network and from 0.4 to 0.23 for the normal irrigation network. Furthermore, the proposed method suggested a correlation threshold of 0.84 for both mice networks rather than a threshold of 0.7 as applied earlier. We demonstrate that the proposed approach is a valuable tool for constructing biological meaningful networks.

El ciberacoso sexual a menores, también denominado online grooming (OG), se ha convertido en un gravísimo problema social en todo el mundo. Numerosas fuentes nos alertan del crecimiento de este delito, que vulnera los derechos de la infancia y deja secuelas en muchos casos de por vida. En España, por ejemplo, la Fundación Anar (2021) proporciona datos de un aumento anual – entre 2017 y 2018 – del 419.3% de llamadas a su servicio de apoyo relacionadas con casos de OG. Otras fuentes internacionales alertan del ascenso aun si cabe mayor del OG – y otros delitos de ciberabuso y explotación a menores - a raíz de la pandemia COVID-19. Durante la cuarentena en España de marzo a junio de 2020 se duplicaron las denuncias de imágenes y videos de abusos sexuales a menores a través de redes sociales (Romero, 2020). En Argentina, así mismo, los ciberdelitos crecieron un 500% durante la cuarentena del 2020, encontrándose los casos de OG, junto a los de explotación sexual infantil y difusión de imágenes íntimas, entre los tipos de ciberdelito en mayor aumento (Monastersky, 2020a/b). Ante unas cifras tan sumamente preocupantes, no podemos sino actuar de manera rápida, coordinada y contundente. Parte de dicha actuación se basa en la detección de OG; otra parte se basa en la prevención. En ambas, saber a qué delito nos enfrentamos es esencial, y para ello la investigación debe ser rigurosa, ética y multidisciplinar. Es aquí donde los analistas del discurso podemos marcar un antes y un después. La mayor parte de la investigación realizada sobre OG corresponde a estudios en sicología y criminología. El estudio lingüístico (discursivo) de OG hasta la fecha es extremadamente limitado y se ha llevado a cabo exclusivamente con datos en lengua inglesa en la última década (véase, por ejemplo, Chiang & Grant, 2018; Lorenzo-Dus et al., 2016; 2020; Lorenzo-Dus & Izura, 2017; Lorenzo-Dus & Kinzel, 2019; 2021). Esto es así a pesar de que (i) las técnicas de manipulación y control constituyen la clave del proceso de OG y (ii) dichas técnicas son de índole comunicativa (lingüístico/discursiva y visual), como demuestra el estudio pionero del discurso de OG en lengua inglesa (Lorenzo-Dus et al., 2016). Nuestro trabajo, gestado durante la pandemia COVID-19 de 2020-2021, utiliza como corpus de datos todas las sentencias dictadas sobre casos de OG en España desde 2003 hasta 2019, que están disponibles en el repositorio CENDOJ (Centro de documentación judicial del Consejo General del Poder Judicial). Seleccionamos las partes de las sentencias donde se reproduce verbatim y non verbatim la interacción entre ciberacosador y víctima. Analizamos de manera cualitativa, y siguiendo el modelo propuesto en Lorenzo-Dus et al. (2016), las estrategias discursivas de manipulación y control de los ciberacosadores, así como de la percepción de dichas estrategias por parte de las víctimas. Los resultados demuestran la existencia de ciertas estrategias recurrentes en el discurso de los ciberacosadores, tales como el uso de cumplidos y la combinación de léxico sexual explícito e implícito. Nuestros resultados ofrecen importantes aportaciones de cara al desarrollo de herramientas informáticas para la prevención de OG. Este volumen tiene como objetivo estudiar y analizar los discursos públicos en torno al género, la violencia y la desigualdad social en los llamados medios digitales (Couldry 2012) y, más concretamente, su evolución e impacto político, cultural, social e ideológico en la era digital y las ‘nuevas’ formas de comunicación social, institucional y política (Fuchs 2007; Bennet & Segerberg 2013; Winseck 2017). La edición pretende profundizar en los discursos generados y canalizados a través de la llamada sociedad en red (Castells 2011), cuando se celebra el primer cuarto de siglo de vida de internet.

OBJETIVO: Analizar los resultados de una nueva técnica quirúrgica mínimamente invasiva (MIS, por el inglés "minimally invasive surgery") por vía posterior aislada para la corrección quirúrgica de la escoliosis idiopática del adolescente (EIA). MÉTODOS: Se comparan dos grupos de pacientes con EIA tipo 1A de Lenke, similares en cuanto a edad, género, ángulo de Cobb, ápex de la curva, rotación vertebral, cifosis torácica, niveles de fusión, tipo de instrumentación y seguimiento. El Grupo 1 fue tratado con la técnica mínimamente invasiva que describiremos y el Grupo 2, de forma convencional. Se analizaron el tiempo quirúrgico, la pérdida sanguínea intraoperatoria, los requerimientos analgésicos en el postoperatorio inmediato, la estancia hospitalaria, la tasa de mal posición de los tornillos, la pérdida de corrección, la tasa de pseudoartrosis y la movilización de implantes. RESULTADOS: En el Grupo 1 (MIS) la cirugía disminuyó significativamente el sangrado y presentó menor número de casos de tornillos mal posicionados en la concavidad que el grupo tratado de forma convencional; sin embargo la cirugía tuvo mayor duración. Ambos grupos tuvieron requerimientos analgésicos similares y la estancia hospitalaria no presentó diferencias. A largo plazo en ninguno de los dos grupos se encontraron casos de no-unión, pérdidas de corrección, ni movilización de los implantes. CONCLUSIONES: La técnica MIS demostró prolongación del tiempo quirúrgico y menores pérdidas hemáticas, sin disminuir los requerimientos analgésicos ni la estancia hospitalaria. La corrección inicial de la escoliosis por la convexidad disminuyó la incidencia de tornillos mal posicionados en la concavidad, no dio lugar a pérdidas de corrección, movilización de implantes y no-unión.

Alejandro de la Sota is definitely one of the great masters of contemporary Spanish architecture. Long forgotten and reviled, the last few years have restored him into his proper place in the history of architectural critical thinking. As a proper Galician, not given to either architectural or personal excesses, and of great humility, he is often cryptic in its theoretical approach and works. This article aims to cast some light on his figure through the quiet interpretation of his many drawings, especially those less widespread. For example those made for the INC, with an interesting use of colour, or the ones for the Guzmán House, even the multiple caricatures of which he was very fond. It is in these strangers in which we focus, they all are proof of his genius and personality. Perhaps he would rather keep silent than speak, we hope that his drawings do it for him.

Some harmful algal blooms produce lipophilic marine biotoxins (LMTs) such as okadaic acid (OA; and its analogs dinophysistoxins [DTXs]), yessotoxins (YTXs), pectenotoxins (PTXs), and azaspiracids (AZAs), all of which may accumulate in filter-feeding bivalve mollusks. European health regulations stipulate a limit of 160 μg/kg for OA or DTXs, PTXs, and AZAs and 3.75 mg/kg for YTXs. Argopecten purpuratus is a valuable commercial marine bivalve exploited in Peru. Despite its importance and the periodic reports of the presence of harmful algal blooms in Peruvian coastal waters, information regarding potential contamination of these scallops by LMTs is lacking. We evaluated LMTs in 115 samples of A. purpuratus collected between November 2013 and March 2015 from 18 production areas distributed along the Peruvian coast. The hepatopancreas, which accumulates most of the toxins in the scallop, was analyzed with liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry to quantify OA in its free form, YTX, AZA-1, and PTX-2. Baseline separation was achieved in 19 min. Linearity (R2 > 0.997), precision (coefficient of variation < 15%), and limits of quantification (0.155 to 0.479 ng/mL) were satisfactory. YTX was found in 72 samples, and PTX-2 was found in 17 samples, but concentrations of both biotoxins were below the regulatory limits. Free OA and AZA-1 were not detected in the scallop samples. This atypical profile (i.e., presence of PTX-2 and absence of OA) may be linked to the presence of the dinoflagellate Dinophysis acuminata. The production of YTX could be associated with the phytoplankton Gonyaulax spinifera and Protoceratium reticulatum. This is the first systematic assessment of the four types of LMTs in shellfish from Peruvian coastal waters. The results suggest low prevalence of LMTs in Peruvian bay scallops but support continued surveillance and analysis of LMTs in Peru. YTX was found for the first time in scallops from Peruvian coastal waters. Free OA and AZA-1 were not detected in any scallop sample. PTX-2 co-occurred with YTX in the scallops. SUMMARY: Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) is one of the world's most important crops, but it is facing major challenges due to climatic changes. To investigate the effects of intermittent drought on the natural variability of plant morphology and tuber metabolism in a novel potato association panel comprising 258 varieties we performed an augmented block design field study under normal irrigation and under water‐deficit and recovery conditions in Ica, Peru. All potato genotypes were profiled for 45 morphological traits and 42 central metabolites via nuclear magnetic resonance. Statistical tests and norm of reaction analysis revealed that the observed variations were trait specific, that is, genotypic versus environmental. Principal component analysis showed a separation of samples as a result of conditional changes. To explore the relational ties between morphological traits and metabolites, correlation‐based network analysis was employed, constructing one network for normal irrigation and one network for water‐recovery samples. Community detection and difference network analysis highlighted the differences between the two networks, revealing a significant correlational link between fumarate and plant vigor. A genome‐wide association study was performed for each metabolic trait. Eleven single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) markers were associated with fumarate. Gene Ontology analysis of quantitative trait loci regions associated with fumarate revealed an enrichment of genes regulating metabolic processes. Three of the 11 SNPs were located within genes, coding for a protein of unknown function, a RING domain protein and a zinc finger protein ZAT2. Our findings have important implications for future potato breeding regimes, especially in countries suffering from climate change.
