In order to prevent the faults caused by the overheating phenomena of gas insulated switchgear (GIS) contacts, it is necessary to monitor and predict the temperature of GIS contacts. In view of the problems that the temperature of contacts is not easy to be directly measured and the temperature is easily affected by the operation conditions and external factors, a prediction method of GIS contact temperature based on multiple parameters is proposed in this work. The temperature distribution law of GIS under different influencing factors is investigated by employing a three-dimensional simulation model. The influencing factors are contact resistance, load current, ambient temperature, wind speed, SF6 pressure and solar radiation intensity. The reliability of the model is validated by use of heat circuit model. The results indicate that the key factors to predict the contact temperature are the shell temperature rise, load current, wind speed, SF6 pressure and solar radiation intensity. At the same time, the influence of ambient temperature can be ignored. Further, the back propagation (BP) neural network is adopted to predict the temperature rise of the contacts with the above factors. The predicted temperature rise is compared with the calculated one of the model, and the error is in the range of -0.70~0.68 ℃. The method comprehensively takes into account the influence of various factors on the GIS temperature field, and it helps to give a reference for the temperature prediction of GIS contacts based on external sensors.

Human resources are the most dynamic and creative factors in the production factors of engineering projects, and human resource allocation is the key link to whether human resources can give full play to their roles. This paper discusses the realization strategy of optimal human resource allocation for engineering projects and designs a human resource optimization allocation scheme for multiple engineering projects based on the key human resource element of the project manager. Firstly, it constructs the engineering project manager competency element index system and engineering project priority evaluation index system and applies a multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate project manager competency and engineering project priority ranking, respectively. Finally, taking an engineering and construction company as an example, using a linear programming model, an empirical study of human resource allocation for engineering projects is conducted. In the human resource allocation scheme of the optimization model constructed in this paper, all 30 project managers are assigned to 10 projects to meet the staffing needs of all projects within the planned construction period, and the total labor cost is 5.897 million yuan, which is smaller than the 6.192 million yuan of the traditional allocation scheme. It shows that the multi-project staffing model proposed in this paper can ensure the project staffing needs while completing the staff allocation with the lowest total labor cost, which is more effective compared with the traditional staffing methods.

Idioms have various compositions and are part of the long history and culture of the Chinese nation, with their unique ways of expression. In this paper, taking “Pictures of Idioms” as an example, we propose a strategy for designing illustrations for a related series of books on idioms using artificial intelligence technology. Using the LSTM model, the description of the given idiom text is realized to generate images. The generated images are processed by a decoder and fed into a neural network model to generate illustrations that match the description of the idiom text. Further, a diffusion model is proposed to improve the quality of illustration generation and diversify the illustrations by continuously adding conditions to the generation process. Taking “Picture Talking Idioms” as an example, we propose a design strategy for the illustrations of the Idioms series accompanying elementary school language textbooks and quantify the effect of practical application in terms of the design effect of the final product, the reading satisfaction, and the effect of the use of “Picture Talking Idioms.” Students were more satisfied with the use of blue-gray and blue colors in the illustrations in “Diagrams to Tell Idioms,” with ratings of 4.9 and 4.6, respectively. 52% of the students used the diagrammatic method of reading “Diagrams to Tell Idioms” and rated the knowledge content of the books in terms of idioms at 9.458, which is a high satisfaction rate of 98%. The use of diagramming idioms has been very effective in assisting with language text.

With the advancement of embedded systems, their application across diverse sectors has notably expanded. This paper delineates the fundamental architecture of embedded systems and separately engineers the hardware and software components for an energy-efficient embedded system tailored for electrical engineering automation. The focus is placed on the energy-saving control module of the embedded system, which incorporates fuzzy logic with a PID control algorithm to produce definitive signal outputs. Building upon this foundation, the performance of this enhanced algorithm was evaluated and subsequently implemented in the tunnel lighting electrical engineering project. The findings reveal that the embedded system-controlled lighting setup can adjust the tunnel entrance and mouth lighting based on external luminance levels, maintaining daily energy consumption at approximately 550 kWh with an energy savings rate reaching as high as 51% per day. This study affirms the substantial potential of embedded systems in advancing energy-efficient solutions within electrical engineering automation.

As the scale of the electrical system becomes more and more large and the structure becomes more and more complex, the performance of the electrical automation device is therefore required to be higher. This paper studies the electrical system automation device, and from the perspective of universality, designs and establishes the hardware platform of the electrical system automation device composed of six plug-ins, such as human-machine interface, auxiliary switch input, AC input, communication, power supply, and central processor. On this basis, μC/OS-II is adopted as the embedded real-time operating system of this paper to develop and design the software of the electrical system automation device. Then, the principle of the protection device for embedded system electrical automation is analyzed, and a microcomputer line protection device based on the full-circle Fuchs algorithm is proposed. The empirical analysis of the embedded system electrical automation device shows that the maximum system task response time is 145 μs and the minimum is 10 μs, which are all no more than 1 ms. When testing including the single board state, the keyboard, the alphabetical mode, the basic function, and the single board line module sending and receiving, the pass rate of all the testing items is more than 99%, which verifies that this paper is based on the embedded real-time operating system of the feasibility and effectiveness of the electrical automation device.

In today’s competitive business landscape, effective human resource management (HRM) is pivotal for the growth and performance of enterprises. This study uses gray correlation and multiple regression analyses to investigate the connection between HRM practices and corporate performance. We developed an evaluative framework to assess the impact of strategic talent management on company outcomes. Survey data were analyzed to unveil the dynamics between HRM variables and corporate performance. Our findings highlight a significant relationship between employee recruitment, incentive programs, promotion pathways, and an innovative culture with corporate success, with p-values less than 0.01. Notably, stock options (0.354), bonus schemes (0.325), and promotion opportunities (0.331) show the strongest correlations. The gray correlation analysis further indicates that the HRM-performance linkage in three surveyed companies exceeds 0.7%, underscoring HRM’s vital role in enhancing enterprise performance. This research presents gray correlation analysis as an effective tool for businesses to evaluate the impact of their HRM strategies on performance.

The traditional optimal design of a transverse magnetic field motor mainly uses the electromagnetic relational formulas and the finite element analysis to empirically select its structural parameters, therefore making it difficult to obtain the global optimal solution of each parameter and meeting the requirements for multi-objective optimization. This paper suggests a hybrid algorithm of harmony search and differential evolution and introduces the elite retention strategy to improve the hybrid algorithm. It presents the principles of the hybrid algorithm, and then the algorithm performance test is used to verify the superiority of the hybrid algorithm. The electromagnetic analysis demonstrates the influence of the main dimensional parameters of the transverse magnetic field motor on its maximum torque density, therefore providing the basis for its optimal design. Jointly with the hybrid algorithm, the maximum torque density and the production cost are used as the objective function to optimize the transverse magnetic field motor under two groups of weighted coefficients. The simulation results show that the maximum torque density of the transverse magnetic field motor optimized with the hybrid algorithm is larger compared with the prototype motor but its production cost is lower.

Sol-gel method was used to prepare a novel In-Sm co-doped TiO2 photocatalyst. The materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared/far infrared, UV-Vis diffuse reflectance, and N2 adsorption-desorption analyses. Anatase phase TiO2 is formed in the pure and doped TiO2 samples. Anatase TiO2 crystal formation and growing are disturbed by the dopants. The substitution of smaller Ti4+ ions by the larger Sm3+ and In3+ ions causes the expansion of TiO2 cell. The doping of indium and samarium ions has no noticeable influence on the bonding characters of TiO2. A continuous red shift of the absorption edge of xIn-0.05%Sm-TiO2 occurs at increasing indium doping content. Brunauer-Emmett-Teller surface area, average pore size, and total pore volume are enhanced after doping of samarium and indium. The adsorption of methyl orange on the surface of xIn-0.05%Sm-TiO2 increases with rising indium content. The 5%In-0.05%Sm-TiO2 has the maximum photocatalytic activity. About 97.7% of the initial methyl orange is decolorized on 5%In-0.05%Sm-TiO2 after 45 min of irradiation.

The default energy deposition model in the CASL neutronics code MPACT assumes all fission energy is deposited locally in fuel rods. Furthermore, equilibrium delayed energy release is assumed for both steady-state and transient calculations. These approximations limit the accurate representation of the heat generation distribution in space and its variations over time, which are essential for power distribution and thermal-hydraulic coupling calculations. In this paper, an improved energy deposition model is presented in both the spatial and time domains. Spatially, the energy deposition through fission, neutron capture, and slowing-down reactions are explicitly modeled to account for the heat generation from all regions of a reactor core, and a gamma smearing scheme is developed that utilizes the gamma sources from neutron fission and capture. In the time domain, the delayed energy release is modeled by solving an additional equation of delayed heat emitters, similar to the equation of delayed neutron precursors. To allow the explicit heat generation coupling, the interfaces between MPACT and CTF were updated to transfer separate heat sources for different material regions (fuel, clad, moderator and guide tube). The results show that the distributions of the energy deposition between MPACT and MCNP agree very well for various 2-D assembly and quarter-core problems without TH feedback. The MPACT/CTF coupled calculation for the hot full power quarter-core case exhibited a reduced peak pin power by 2.3% and a reduced peak fuel centerline temperature by 17 K when using the explicit energy deposition and heat transfer. The new model also shows a maximum 100 pcm keff effect on assembly depletion problems and an increased overall energy release by 7% in a PWR reactivity-initiated accident (RIA) problem.

This paper presents the most recent progress on the development of gamma transport capability for the CASL neutronics code MPACT: (1) 3D gamma transport and (2) explicit gamma heating capabilities. The 3D gamma calculation capability was implemented by leveraging the 2D/1D solver originally developed for neutron calculations. The results were verified by MCNP6 on a small assembly with 5 × 5 pins. Generally, errors were lower than 0.5% on each axial mesh as long as MPACT was running with enough axial meshes. The gamma heating calculation considered the energy deposition from photoelectric absorption, Compton scattering, and pair production. Verification with MCNP6 for both 2D and 3D benchmarks showed that the errors of energy depositions are comparable with those of gamma fluxes, proving the proper implementation of the energy deposition.
