The ant colony algorithm, a heuristic algorithm that mimics ants’ foraging, can optimize problem-solving. Applying this algorithm to the design of innovation and entrepreneurship projects in colleges and universities can enhance the effectiveness and feasibility of these projects. Based on an analysis of the college innovation and entrepreneurship project design process, the article explores the entrepreneurial path through the use of big data analysis. Then, it discusses the ant colony algorithm’s basic concept and mathematical model and proposes a two-population ant colony algorithm for multi-objective resource-constrained project scheduling problems. When compared to the traditional algorithm, the improved ant colony algorithm runs 25–33 ms faster, and Company A’s operating costs drop by 1,176,000 yuan from 2020 to 2023. This shows that the improved ant colony algorithm suggested in this paper can make university innovation and entrepreneurship programs more efficient at allocating resources.

Off-site research institutes serve as crucial platforms for universities to facilitate the translation and application of their scientific research outcomes. Additionally, these institutes act as vital intermediaries for local governments to harmonize scientific inputs with economic development and play a key role in the industrial transformation and elevation of regional science and innovation levels. Drawing on the triple helix theory, this paper outlines strategic planning for off-site research institutes and develops a multi-objective linear programming model aimed at optimizing resource allocation. This model focuses on enhancing both the efficiency of resource utilization and the efficiency of resource allocation at these institutes. To address the issue of local minima commonly encountered in optimization algorithms, this study employs a simulated annealing algorithm to refine the performance of the particle swarm optimization algorithm. The resulting hybrid algorithm termed the simulated annealing particle swarm algorithm, is applied to solve the proposed model and investigate the determinants of optimal resource allocation. The findings indicate a significant improvement in resource allocation efficiency, with the coefficient for heterogeneous research institutes decreasing from an average of 0.84 in 2020 to 0.68. This optimization has led to a more effective and rational distribution of resources, better meeting the needs of the institutes. Furthermore, the analysis reveals that financial support and talent introduction and development account for approximately 69.7% of the variance in the optimized development of resource allocation at these institutes. The study provides actionable insights that could guide the optimal development of off-site research institutes, offering valuable references for future applications.

Enhancing research efficiency by managing related knowledge and forming standardized applications has always been an effort to optimize the work of off-site research institutes, and knowledge sharing is one of the most important methods in many practices. In this paper, the entity matching algorithm is used to identify and match the nodes in the knowledge graph, the connection algorithm is used to calculate and sort the data volume of each node, and all the nodes in the knowledge graph are connected in series. After introducing the update mechanism to establish the decentralized global knowledge graph, the knowledge graph has been integrated into the knowledge-sharing system to enable knowledge sharing between off-site research institutes. In this paper, the accuracy of the full-text search for knowledge graphs can reach 87%, which meets the demand for knowledge sharing. The speed of researchers’ research plan formulation in heterogeneous research institutes has been accelerated by 85.40%, and the efficiency of the research institutes has significantly improved. At the same time, the institute’s innovation ability also increased significantly, with a relative increase of 57.21% in the average number of patents filed annually. This paper provides a reference path for the realization of knowledge sharing among heterogeneous research institutes. It establishes a foundation for significant improvements in the efficiency and innovation ability of research institutes.

Context Accurately distinguishing between benign thyroid nodules (BTNs) and papillary thyroid cancers (PTCs) with current conventional methods poses a significant challenge. Objective We identify DNA methylation markers of immune response–related genes for distinguishing BTNs and PTCs. Methods In this study, we analyzed a public reduced representative bisulfite sequencing dataset and revealed distinct methylation patterns associated with immune signals in PTCs and BTNs. Based on these findings, we developed a diagnostic classifier named the Methylation-based Immune Response Signature (MeIS), which was composed of 15 DNA methylation markers associated with immune response–related genes. We validated MeIS's performance in 2 independent cohorts: Z.S.'s retrospective cohort (50 PTC and 18 BTN surgery-leftover samples) and Z.S.'s preoperative cohort (31 PTC and 30 BTN fine-needle aspiration samples). Results The MeIS classifier demonstrated significant clinical promise, achieving areas under the curve of 0.96, 0.98, 0.89, and 0.90 in the training set, validation set, Z.S.'s retrospective cohort, and Z.S.'s preoperative cohort, respectively. For the cytologically indeterminate thyroid nodules, in Z.S.'s retrospective cohort, MeIS exhibited a sensitivity of 91% and a specificity of 82%; in Z.S.'s preoperative cohort, MeIS achieved a sensitivity of 84% and a specificity of 74%. Additionally, combining MeIS and BRAF V600E detection improved the detecting performance of cytologically indeterminate thyroid nodules, yielding sensitivities of 98% and 87%, and specificities of 82% and 74% in Z.S.'s retrospective cohort and Z.S.'s preoperative cohort, respectively. In recent years, significant progress has been made in the research and development of conventional hydrogel sensors. However, the development of hydrogels with special structures, achieved through specific designs or fabrication strategies, remains relatively scarce. Inspired by aloe, a specially structured hydrogel (named Skin‐Polyvinyl alcohol‐Polyaniline‐AgNWs, S‐PPA) is successfully prepared with skin. Innovatively utilizing the hydrogen bonding interaction between ions and water molecules, the surface of the hydrogel is treated to create a protective skin. The S‐PPA hydrogel with a protective skin demonstrates strong resistance to damage (with a tensile strength of 5 MPa, >11 times higher compared to hydrogel without skin) and exhibits dual conductivity (0.8 S m−1 for the inner skin and 0.33 S m−1 for the outer skin). In addition, the S‐PPA hydrogel also possesses water retention capabilities, antibacterial properties (89.4% inhibition rate against Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus)), and minimal corrosion to metal electrodes. Based on the S‐PPA hydrogel and combined with wireless Bluetooth technology and Python programming, intelligent applications are developed such as multi‐gradient intelligent control and finger muscle condition evaluation, achieving real‐time human‐ computer interaction (HCI). The intelligent pressure‐sensitive hydrogel proposed by this study shows great potential in the fields of medical rehabilitation, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things. The state of the energy-absorption branch MOV in the hybrid DC circuit breaker (DCCB) has a very important impact on the short fault breaking operation of the circuit breaker. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the state of the MOV, which is also called the "sleep component". Due to DCCB being placed indoors, the aging is mainly caused by short-circuit impulse current. Therefore, this paper mainly focuses on the study of the short-circuit impulse aging characteristics of the energy-absorption branch MOV. The dynamic simulation system of a hybrid DCCB was built to investigate the impulse of short-circuit current on the MOV of the energy-absorption branch during the circuit breaking process. Then, an accelerated impulse aging test platform was built and the accelerated impulse aging tests of the MOV were conducted. The aging characteristics of the MOV were analyzed in detail and detailed analysis was conducted of the macroscopic parameters and microstructure changes. The results indicate that the nonlinear coefficient α could be emphasized as a basis for judging the "sleeping" component states and aging degree of the hybrid DC circuit breaker, and can be expected to be applicable to MOV condition monitoring of BCCB in the future. The study aims to explore insights into stakeholder engagement that how it amplifies consumers' engagement toward organizations. This study attempts to meet the literature gap by investigating the nexus among corporate social responsibility, green purchase behavior, stakeholder knowledge, and stakeholder trust by considering the Chinese Z‐generation drawing on stakeholder theory. Structure equation modeling was majorly equipped to obtain the connections among adopted variables to compute the proposed relationships using the sample size of 611 (n = 611). First, a positive relationship was found between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and green purchase behavior. Second, the study uncovered the significant connection between CSR and consumer knowledge. Finally, the study confirmed the positive relationship between CSR and consumer trust toward the organizations. This study endows with numerous interesting and fruitful implications for managers, practitioners, and policymakers. The current study additionally endeavors to highlight the notion of CSR in terms of stakeholders' engagement and how a firm can strengthen relationships with its stakeholders such as consumers. Besides, this study bears some shortcomings and several potentials for future scholars to consider similar themes to validate the outcomes within the Chinese market and across the world. Background and Objective: Diabetes is an important risk factor for periodontitis, and circular RNA (circRNA) may play an important role in aggravating inflammation and accelerating disease progression by regulating miRNA/mRNA. This study aimed to investigate the role and mechanism of the hsa_circ_0084054/miR‐508‐3p/PTEN axis in the progression of periodontitis with diabetes. Methods: First, circRNA sequencing was used to screen the differentially expressed circRNAs of periodontal ligament cells (PDLCs) treated with high glucose and/or Porphyromonas gingivalis lipopolysaccharide (LPS) in vitro, and the overtly differentially expressed hsa_circ_0084054 was selected and was also verified in periodontal ligament (PDL) tissue from periodontitis patients with diabetes. Then, its ring structure was tested by Sanger sequencing, RNase R, and actinomycin D assays. The bioinformatics analysis, dual luciferase reporter assay, and RIP assay were used to explore the interaction of hsa_circ_0084054/miR‐508‐3p/PTEN axis, whose effects on inflammation, oxidative stress, and apoptosis of PDLCs were evaluated through the measurement of inflammatory factors, reactive oxygen species (ROS), total superoxide dismutase (SOD), malondialdehyde (MDA), and Annexin V/PI assay. Results: By high‐throughput sequencing, it was found that hsa_circ_0084054 was significantly increased in HG + LPS group compared with control group and LPS group, which was also verified in periodontal ligament (PDL) tissue from periodontitis patients with diabetes. Silencing hsa_circ_0084054 in PDLCs decreased the expression of inflammatory factors (IL‐1β, IL‐6, TNF‐α), the levels of ROS and MDA, and the proportion of apoptotic cells; conversely, SOD activity was enhanced. In addition, we found that hsa_circ_0084054 could up‐regulate the expression of PTEN through sponge miR‐508‐3p to inhibit AKT phosphorylation, finally trigger the aggravation of oxidative stress and inflammation in periodontitis patients with diabetes. Conclusion: hsa_circ_0084054 can aggravate inflammation and promote the progression of periodontitis with diabetes by regulating miR‐508‐3p/PTEN signaling axis, which may serve as a new target for the intervention of periodontitis with diabetes.
