This research aims to i) implement the solar cell based power-bank prototype for learning media; ii) describe the feasibility of the solar cellbased power-bank prototype for learning; and iii) describe students' scientific literacy. This research method uses the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) research and development model. The subjects of this research are class IX students and science teachers at SMPN 4 Central Bengkulu. Data collection techniques include questionnaires, tests, and interviews. The data analysis technique uses N-gain analysis, percentages, and the Aiken's V formula. The research results show that the media developed is valid with an Aiken index value of 0.98 > the minimum standard Aiken' V of 0.92 and can increase students' scientific literacy based on an N-gain of 0.92. 0.71, this can be seen in the dimensions of context and content based on N-gain of 0.73 and 0.69, while the dimensions of attitude, curiosity, respect, and willingness, reflect the respective percentages of 79.62%, 78.86%, 78.89%, 75.60%. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, the sig value is obtained. The accumulation of salt in arable lands is a source of significant abiotic stress, contributing to a 10% decline in the world's total arable lands and threatening food productivity and the sustainability of agriculture. About 76 million hectares of productive land are estimated to have been affected by human-induced salinization such as extreme salt deposits in soil, which are mainly caused by the actions of humans. For instance, continued irrigation and the frequent use of chemical fertilizers need to be understood. To ensure food availability, it is essential to improve upon traditional farming methods using current technologies to facilitate the reclamation of saline-affected arable lands to achieve high and sustainable food production. This review details current innovative strategies such as the modification of metabolic pathways, manipulation of antioxidant pathways, genetic engineering, RNA interference technology, engineered nanoparticles, arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF), organic amendments, and trace elements for improving saline marginal lands. These strategies were identified to have contributed to the improvement of plants salinity tolerance in diverse ways. For instance, the accumulation of plant metabolites such as amino acids, sugars, polyols, organic acids, saponins, anthocyanins, polyphenols, and tannins detoxify plants and play crucial roles in mitigating the detrimental effects of oxidative damage posed by salinity stress. Multiple plant miRNAs encoding the up- and down-regulation of single- and multi-ion transporters have been engineered in plant species to enhance salt tolerance. Nanomaterials and plant root system colonized by arbuscular mycorrhizal increase water uptake, photosynthetic efficiency, and biomass allocation in plants exposed to saline stress by excluding 65 percent of the Na+ uptake and enhancing K+ uptake by 84.21 percent. Organic amendments and trace elements reduced salinity concentrations by 22 percent and improved growth by up to 84 percent in maize subjected to salinity stress. This study also discusses how researchers can use these strategies to improve plants growth, development, and survival in saline soil conditions to enhance the productivity and sustainability of agriculture. The strategies discussed in this study have also proven to be promising approaches for developing salinity stress tolerance strategies for plants to increase agricultural productivity and sustainability. This study investigated the temporal and spatial patterns of heat wave (HW) events in Jiangxi, China. Our analysis is based on the observation data, including daily maximum temperature and daily average air relative humidity from 81 meteorological stations from 1959 to 2023. We also examined the impact of HW events on summer electricity consumption by taking the capital city of Jiangxi, Nanchang, as a case study. The results reveal an overall increase in the frequency of HW events over the past 65 years, with a pronounced increase since 1997, particularly in central and southern Jiangxi. The onset of HW events has generally occurred earlier, while their cessation has been delayed across most areas of Jiangxi Province, resulting in extended HW periods. Economic growth in regions like the Jitai Basin, the Ganfu Plain, and the hilly areas of northeastern Jiangxi has been accompanied by more intense and prolonged HW events. In Nanchang City, the summer electricity load increased by approximately 9% on holidays compared to working days and by about 20% on high-temperature days compared to normal conditions. These insights highlight the need for adaptive strategies to mitigate the impacts of increasing HW occurrences.

The research has as objective to analyse the evolution of the employed population and the gross domestic product in services, in the Western Region of Romania, from 2016-2020, respectively to highlight the importance of the employed population’s contribution to the creation of the gross domestic product. Based on the statistical data series, the absolute, relative and average indicators were calculated, with the aim of identifying for each type of service the increase, the dynamics index and the rate of growth of the employed population and the gross domestic product, both in absolute values and in values mediums. The employed population and the gross domestic product registered positive values for most services, and negative values only for the population employed in Financial Intermediation and Insurance services, Other service activities, Education, Public Administration and Defence; social insurance from the public system, as well as to the gross domestic product for Real Estate Transaction services and Financial Intermediation and Insurance services.

New experiments are performed using a gamma ray spectrometer installed at the cosmic ray station in Apatity. The spectrometer monitors the differential spectrum of gamma radiation coming from the atmosphere in the 0.1–4 MeV range of energies. Analysis of the gamma radiation spectra in dozens of increases shows that the effect of growing gamma radiation during precipitation is not related to the presence of radionuclides, or the additional release of radionuclides from the soil. The characteristics of the gamma ray spectra indicate meteorological processes in the atmosphere as the primary cause of the increase effect. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The aim of this research is to find out the extent of the strategy of implementing mutaba'ah in an effort to increase the memorization of students in madrasah al-Qur'an Da'wah and entrepreneurship in Islamic boarding schools in the Merapi Merbabu community. This research uses a qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were the students of MAQDA PM3 Windusajan, Wonolelo, Magelang, which is an educational unit under the auspices of the Merapi Community Islamic Boarding School Foundation. This research was carried out from October to December 2023. Meanwhile, the informants in this research were the Head of MAQDA, ustadz tahfidz and santri. The data in this research was obtained through observation, structured interviews and documentation as well as relevant literature results. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman analysis model called interactive analysis. This analysis is divided into several stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the strategy used to memorize is the mutaba'ah sheet which is divided into two, namely the muroja'ah activity sheet and the ziyadah activity sheet. This mutaba'ah sheet is filled in by the students and then submitted to the musyrif tahfidz and controlled by the ustadz tahfidz as the coordinator of the tahfidz program at MAQDA PM3. Meanwhile, the supporting factors are the students' interest in talent and the students' motivators who come from the musyrif and the students' parents. The inhibiting factor is lack of discipline. Then, as a result of the mutaba'ah strategy, the average student is able to meet the normal criteria of 2.5 to 3 jars per semester and some students are able to exceed this normal achievement.

We report the measurement results of differential spectra of electromagnetic radiation in the range 0.1–4 MeV, which occurs in the atmosphere as a component of secondary cosmic rays. Spectral monitoring was performed using a spectrometer based on the Nai (TL) crystal in 2022–2023. The main purpose of the measurements was to determine spectral characteristics of the electromagnetic radiation during increase events, when the electromagnetic radiation flux from the atmosphere rises by tens of percent with respect to the background level. From a thorough analysis of the spectra of many dozens of events, we have drawn a conclusion that although the lines of natural radionuclides are present on the spectra and contribute their share, their total contribution to the increase events is ~0.1 of the total energy supplied during an increase. We unambiguously conclude that the effect of increasing electromagnetic radiation during precipitation is not due to the presence of radionuclides in precipitation.

Developing the relationships with students during teaching and learning was by the teaching method. As a result, teaching approaches made a significant contribution to teaching and learning activities. Learning examples that are not examples was one example of a media-based learning methodology. The media in learning was our problem in the teaching and learning process because the media was the component that will give an effect on student learning outcomes because learning messages can be delivered according to the learning objectives through media. To maximize learning and teaching effectiveness, pay attention to how learning messages were arranged so that students were engaged in learning. This research had two objectives: (1) How does the Examples-Non-Examples technique in fiqh at MI Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Sukorejo Banyuputih Situbondo work? (2) Can the Examples-Non-Examples technique be used to boost students' learning creativity in Fiqh at Salafiyah Syafi'iyah, Sukorejo Banyuputih, and Situbondo? The classroom action research approach was used with two cycles to get a good result. Before doing research utilizing the examples-without-examples technique, the researcher conducted an initial test (pre-test) in the pre-cycle, whereas in cycles I and 2, one meeting was held with a time allocation of 1 x 40 minutes. The research findings were acquired in four stages: planning, execution, observation, and reflection. For the findings: (1) The example-non-examples approach was successfully used. This can be observed in the percentage scores of research activities and student activities, which climbed each cycle after adopting the Example-Non-Examples technique in cycle I, which began at 66% and increased to 75%. Student participation in cycle II grew from 62% to 81%. (2) When the Examples-Non-Examples approach was used, student learning creativity rises. This appears in the pre-test, where the proportion of learning completion was 14%, it increased to 45% in the post-test cycle I, and 93% in the post-test cycle II.

In 2022, on the chernozem from Caracal, in the wheat soils sown on 1,100 ha in the production farms of SCDA Caracal, the non-didactic department of the University of Craiova, in two locations: Caracal and Stoenești, FOLIQ 36 Nitrogen was administered to 7 wheat varieties: Glosa, Otilia, Izvor, Avenue, Gabrio, Euclide and Caro line. Leaf samples were taken from 13 physical blocks (one not treated with foliar fertilizer and 12 fertilized with foliar in two doses) in accordance with the leaf sampling instructions approved by the Analitycal Services Laboratory of Yara UK Limited-Packlington. Macro- and micro-nutrients were determined by laboratory analysis in England as follows: nitrogen (%), phosphorus (%), potassium (%), calcium (%), magnesium (%), sulphur (%), iron (ppm), zinc (ppm), manganese (ppm), boron (ppm), copper (ppm), molybdenum (ppm). Interpretation of the results showed that a dose of 1 l/ha significantly increased the zinc content, iron content and nitrogen content of the plant; significantly distinctive also the copper and sulphur content of the plant was increased; very significantly increased were the boron content and phosphorus content of the plant. The same dose also influenced yield very significantly. In general, Gabrio, Avenue and Euclide varieties showed high yields but also high nitrogen, boron, copper, calcium and phosphorus contents. This study is intended for forest owners considering options to increase the efficiency of the production of forest seedlings in automated nurseries. In the short rotation technology of the Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.), the production of seedlings was integrated in the process of grading seeds by spectrometric features, followed by the fall outplanting of containerized seedlings to a restorable post-pyrogenic site. There are studies of the spectrometric effect grading viable seeds, but a negligible amount of testing has been conducted on the seedling's field performance from these seeds. It was very important for us to evaluate the morphogenesis of juvenile Scots pine trees in relation to the change in morphological features—increase in root collar diameter (RCD-increment) and increase in stem height (SH-increment)—in the second and third growing season from the field outplanting. To determine the nature of the interaction between independent (RCD increase), dependent (SH-increment), and categorical (seed spectrometric categories and timespans) variables, a regression analysis was performed using the R statistical software. All coefficients of the linear models are statistically significant at the 1% significance level, and all are positively associated with an increase in seedling height. On average, a RCD increment by 0.1 cm causes a SH-increment by 0.72 ± 0.16 cm (p = 9.779 × 10−6). In addition, in 2020, compared to 2019, the SH-increment was 5.46 ± 0.37 cm (p < 0.001). The seeds' differentiation into spectrometric categories is strongly correlated with the stem height increment (p < 0.001). Thus, in order to improve the plant propagation protocol, it seems advisable to first condition the seeds in accordance with the spectrometric feature, and to then apply a coating (by pelleting or encapsulating) in order to improve the storage and seeding conditions. For a medium-term assessment of the short rotation technology with an integrated seed spectrometric grading in the future, the morphogenesis of Scots pine trees at 5, 7 and 10 growing seasons from the seedlings field outplanting is controlled. Flap necrosis on random pattern skin flaps continues to be a challenge. In this study, we evaluated whether topical application of a vasodilator substance (the prostaglandin PGI2 analogue, Iloprost®, in cream form) as pre-treatment, would increase blood flow and improve flap viability. Wistar rats randomly allocated into four groups with 7 rats per group and two flaps 4cm × 2cm in the same rat i.e. 56 flaps were developed. Flaps on the wright side received pre-treatment with Cream in different drug concentrations, 2.5μgr/gr, 5 μgr/gr, and 10μgr/gr and 20 μgr/gr containing the active factor Iloprost®® ZK 36,374(M. W 360.5) prepared with white petrolatum as a base. Flaps on the left side received placebo cream (white petrolatum). After 10 days of flap pre-treatment, evaluation of blood flow by laser Doppler flowmetry (LDF) were recorded, then flap elevation and re suturing back were performed. After 7 days we estimated flap viability on digital imaging and the percentages of flap survival estimated. Means and standard deviations were used to describe blood flow measurements and survival percentages. The significance was set at 0.05 in all cases and the analysis were carried out with the use of the SPSS v23.0. Furthermore, we performed dynamic analyses of circulation using the radioisotope 99mTc which confirmed hyperaemia of the treated areas relative to that observed in control areas. These findings demonstrated that pretreatment of skin flaps with Iloprost® cream for 10 days prior to elevation increased blood flow in the flap and improved their overall survival rate. Antibiotic resistance among Helicobacter pylori strains is the major cause of eradication failure. Resistance prevalence is dynamic and can greatly vary among countries over the years. We revealed H. pylori resistance trends for five antibiotics in 14 countries through articles predominantly published in 2018–2022, since the latest data can best show the most recent trends in resistance evolution. Amoxicillin resistance generally exhibited no evolution, yet it increased in Bulgaria, Iran, China, and Vietnam. Metronidazole resistance exhibited different trends, including an increase, a decrease and no evolution in six, three, and five studies, respectively. Clarithromycin resistance increased in Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Italy, Iran, and Taiwan, but remained stable in France, Spain, Russia, China, Chile, and Colombia. Tetracycline resistance was low and stable except in Iran. Levofloxacin resistance increased in four European and six other countries/regions, without significant increases in France, Spain, and Chile. In Chile, triple resistance also increased. In countries such as France and Spain, resistance to most antibiotics was stabilized, while in Bulgaria, Belgium, Iran and Taiwan, resistance to three or more agents was reported. Use of non-recommended regimens, national antibiotic consumption, patient's compliance, host factors, strain virulence, migrations, and azithromycin overuse during the COVID-19 pandemic can influence resistance evolution. New drugs, eradication regimens and diagnostic methods, such as next-generation sequencing can improve H. pylori infection control. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Exclusive breastfeeding is given to infants from 0-6 months without additional food. Data from Padang Panjang City Health Office shows that the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in 2012 was 45%. This amount is not in accordance with RPJMD target (2010-2014) of 65%. Sikolos Garden Health Center is located in West Padang Panjang. One of problems with the Nutrition and MCH program is the low achievement of exclusive breastfeeding, which is 14.9%. There are factors that become obstacles in increasing the achievement of exclusive breastfeeding, such as the lack of knowledge and public awareness about the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding, there are mothers who think that exclusive breastfeeding will change the shape of breast, and socio-cultural factors that say babies do not full if only consume breast milk. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to increase the achievement of exclusive breastfeeding coverage in the Working Area of Kebun Sikolos Health Center. The purpose of this activity is to increase mother's knowledge about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding for babies so that they can increase the achievement of exclusive breastfeeding coverage in the Work Area of the Kebun Sikolos Health Center. The activity was carried out using health promotion methods in the form of counseling about exclusive breastfeeding, as well as making health promotion media in the form of posters, leaflets, and lactation corners. After counseling, there was a significant increase in the knowledge of pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers about exclusive breastfeeding. Engineered wood products, such as glued-laminated timber (glulam), have been and are continuously being utilized in the construction of tall timber buildings and notable landmark bridges. This infrastructure, particularly the latter, may be exposed to hazardous impact loads throughout their service life. As little research has been conducted on the impact behaviour of glulam beams under cold temperature conditions, there is a need to investigate the potential effects of impact loading on glulam structural elements at cold temperatures. This paper presents an experimental investigation aimed at understanding the effects of cold temperatures on the impact behaviour of glulam timber beams. Fifteen glulam beams were tested under quasi-static and impact loading, under ambient and cold temperatures. Drop weight impact testing was performed to simulate dynamic loading conditions similar to those experienced in real-world scenarios. The results indicate that both the loading regime and cold temperatures have a significant influence on the strength and stiffness of glulam beams, whereby statistically significant increases in the moduli of rupture and elasticity were observed, however, no interaction between the two variables occurred. RESUMEN | Se realizaron análisis de correlación múltiple exploratorio y correlaciones entre las variables del análisis en fresco (Grado de condición de hepatopáncreas, Gregarinas y Epibiontes) y el Incremento Semanal Promedio -ISP- de 76 estanques de cultivo de camarones en Sonora, México. Aunque estas variables del análisis en fresco presentaron tendencias de correlaciones negativas con el ISP, únicamente la infestación de gregarinas presentó una correlación significativa con el ISP, sugiriendo que la parasitosis provoca efectos negativos sobre el crecimiento de los cultivos, incluso en organismos que no están severamente infestados. ABSTRACT | Analyzes of multiple explorations and correlations between the variables of the wet mount analysis (degree of condition of hepatopancreas, Gregarines and Epibionts) and the Average Weekly Increase -AWI- of 76 shrimp ponds in Sonora, Mexico, were performed. Although the wet mount analysis variables showed negative correlation trends with the AWI, only the gregarine infestation showed significant evidence with the AWI, suggesting that parasitosis causes negative effects on shrimp growth, even in organisms that are not severely affected.

The global organic market is increasing constantly, organic sales reaching over USD 5 billion per year. Organic Monitor estimates that international sales amounted to about USD 38.6 billion in 2006, more than the double of USD 18 billion in 2000. The organic demand is concentrated in North America and Europe, these two regions comprising 97% of the global revenues. The European organic food and beverage market is the largest and most complex in the world, evaluated at USD 20 billion in 2006. Many European countries offer grants to organic farms to support organic production. This production-oriented strategy will have guaranteed success if the market structures and the marketing channels will be able to face the rapidly increasing demand and if the sellers adapt their products, sales channels and prices to the consumers’ demand

This study aims to find out what are the causes of divorce in the people of Medan City, as well as to analyze the highest cause of divorce filed at the Medan City Religious Court. This study focuses on the background analysis of divorce in the Medan City Religious Court. This research is a social research using qualitative research methods that can produce descriptive data in the form of written words, either from the data of the Religious Courts or from the oral staff of the Medan City Religious Courts. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan naturalistik dengan wawancara (depth interview) sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Research informants were determined by snowball among widows and widowers in the Medan City area who were divorced throughout 2021 and from the Religious Courts. Data analysis and interpretation refers to the six steps of analysis as stated by Creswell. And this study concludes that in 2021 the registration of Divorce in the Religious Courts decreased due to restrictions on working hours and PPKM.

The value of feed protein sources in ruminant nutrition is measured by how effectively the protein is degraded in the rumen and converted into microbial protein. High-producing ruminants acquire high nutritional requirements to sustain their metabolic demands for production and performance. However, protein sources occasionally fall short in supplying the required amount of rumen undegradable protein and amino acids. Chemical treatment (formaldehyde) could be used to increase the efficiency of protein sources, which are highly degradable in the rumen. Canola oilcake meal (CM) and sweet lupin seed (SL) were treated with formaldehyde (40% w/v) at concentrations of 10 g/kg (F10) and 15 g/kg CP (F15). In this study, six Dohne Merino wethers fitted with rumen cannulas were used to determine the effect of formaldehyde treatment on the in situ dry matter and crude protein digestibility. The treatments entailed CM control (CMF0), CM treated with 10 g/kg CP formaldehyde (CMF10), CM treated with 15 g/kg CP formaldehyde (CMF15), SL control (SLF0) SL treated with 10 g/kg CP formaldehyde (SLF10) and SL treated with 15 g/kg CP formaldehyde (SLF15). Treatments were incubated in the rumen at time intervals of 0, 2, 4, 12, 36, 48, 72, and 96 hours. Overall, formaldehyde treatment significantly decreased rumen degradation at all outflow rates of both CM and SL. Therefore, formaldehyde treatment could be used to increase the rumen undegradable protein fraction. Potential improvement in animal performance in terms of live weight gain, average daily gain, and feed conversion efficiency has to be evaluated in production studies. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The biofixation capacity of carbon dioxide by the Chlorella vulgaris and Scenedesmus obliquus species cultivated in photobioreactors was evaluated in a 12:12 h photoperiod. A completely randomized experimental design was used, whose sources of variation were: microalgal species and CO2 dosage (0.36, 11.44 and 22.62 g.d-1). The photobioreactors were plastic units with 3.8 L of culture medium (NPK solution + micronutrients), and artificial lighting with a 4400 lumens fluorescent lamp. The following variables were estimated: biomass productivity using the dry weight methodology, CO2 biofixation by numerical method and CO2 removal efficiency in percentage. The results were subjected to the analysis of variance and Tukey's mean tests (p <0.05). Higher biomass productivity and CO2 biofixation were recorded in C. vulgaris compared to S. obliquus. The highest biofixation of CO2 by C. vulgaris and S. obliquus was recorded at the dose of 11.44 gd-1 with 161.79 ± 4.72 and 55.31 ± 0.73 mg.L-1d-1, respectively. The CO2 removal efficiency was significantly higher with the 0.36 g.d-1 dose, registering values of 49.80 ± 3.16 and 39.13 ± 0.57 % for C. vulgaris and S. obliquus respectively. These results suggest the possibility of scaling up low-cost photobioreactors for biofixation of CO2 emissions in industrial fixed fonts, thus contributing to the mitigation of greenhouse gases. In recent years, the emerging fear of an energy crisis in central Europe has caused an increased demand for distributed energy resources (DER), especially small photovoltaic rooftop installations up to 10 kWp. From a technical point of view, distributed PV in low-voltage networks is associated with the risk of power quality violation, overvoltage, voltage unbalance, harmonics, and violation of the thermal limit of phase conductors, neutral conductors, and transformers. Distribution system operators (DSO) are currently in a position to determine the amount of installed PV power for which reliable and safe network operation is ensured, also known as the photovoltaic hosting capacity (PVHC). The presented study describes a stochastic methodology for PVHC estimation and uses it to analyze a typical LV rural network in the Slovak Republic. Detailed and precise calculations are performed on the 4-wire LV model with accurate results. In this study, we, thus, profoundly analyze the problems with voltage violation, unbalanced voltage energy losses, and the thermal loading effect of increasing PV penetration. The results show that overvoltage events are the main factor limiting the PVHC in LV systems. This conclusion is in accordance with the experience of the DSO in the Slovak and Czech Republic. Subsequently, the study focuses on the possibilities of increasing PVHC using those tools typically available for DSO, such as changes in PV inverter power factors and no-load tap changer transformers. The results are compared with those derived from similar analyses, but we ultimately find that the proposed solution is problematic due to the high variability of approaches and boundary conditions. Objective: Several studies have demonstrated that low back pain (LBP) is related to disease activity in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). However, there is no longitudinal research. This study aimed to determine the impacts and risk factors for LBP increase in RA in a longitudinal cohort study. Methods: The study evaluated 113 patients with RA who completed the secondary survey. LBP increase was defined as ≥1 standard deviation of mean change in visual analogue scale (VAS) between the baseline and secondary surveys. The impacts of LBP increase on quality of life (QOL) and psychological status were evaluated. Risk factors were assessed among patient demographic characteristics and radiological changes. Results: Mean change in VAS for LBP was -0.8±30.4 mm during a mean 7-year follow-up. LBP increase was defined as ≥30-mm increase in VAS for LBP. Patients with LBP increase had significantly lower QOL and worse mental status than patients without it. Poor control of RA was identified as an independent risk factor for LBP increase (odds ratio, 9.82, p=.001). Conclusion: Patients with poor control of RA were likely to experience LBP increase in the long term. Control of RA disease activity is important for control of LBP, QOL, and mental status. Russia is China's main log supplier and has implemented a series of log export control policies. The implementation of Russia's export control policy has inevitably had an impact on China's timber processing industry. This paper uses breakpoint regression to analyse the impact of the increase in the import price of logs under the Russian log export control policy on the market price of timber products in China. The results show that under the control policy, the increase in log import prices had a significant positive impact on the timber product market when April 2008, January 2010 and January 2019 were the breakpoints. Due to the lag effects in price transmission, the impact on China's timber product market was not reflected when July 2007 and January 2018 were the breakpoints. The article considers the role of profit, which is a key direction of activity of any commercial organization. The purpose of the article is to generalize practical recommendations for improving the profitability of enterprise (through optimization and/or minimization of material, labor costs associated with the manufacturing of products, sales and management costs; improving the quality of products; the chosen cost control system; marketing policy, pricing policy, etc.). The tactical reserves of increasing the profits of enterprise (including: increase in production and sales of products; reduction of production costs; structural changes in the range and nomenclature of manufactured and sold works, services and products) controlled by managers of the highest and middle levels of a particular enterprise, and strategic reserves for increasing the profit of enterprise (access to new markets of goods; increasing profits for the sale of a unit of production; increasing the increase in the profits of a particular enterprise; increasing the quality of products) are examined. Traditional methods of improving the quality of enterprise products are generalized (improvement of production technology; use of high-quality raw materials and the materials in the course of manufacturing products; advanced training of production workers). The most common directions of increasing the profitability of enterprise, which are traditionally involved at enterprises and allow to increase the economic profitability of sales, are considered. It is indicated that the choice of directions should be preceded by comparing them with each other, assessing the probability of profit growth and risk level. The content of application and possible variations in the use of directions (methods, reserves) of increasing the economic efficiency of enterprises are considered. The authors research the directions (methods, reserves), capable of having the most significant impact on the formation of the company’s profits, thereby ensuring its economic security.

During the recent years, more often sports specialist are focusing on improving the content of sports curriculum at the schools of higher education. The PURPOSE of the training program is to improve and develop the physical characteristic of strength in students / men /. The METHODS used to achieve the goal in the research are: theoretical analysis, sports-pedagogical testing, pedagogical experiment, pedagogical observation, graphic analysis, comparative analysis. The experiment was conducted in the academic year 2019, with the first and second year students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Economics at the Thracian University. The number of the observed students was 70, who were randomly divided into experimental and control groups. When analyzing the RESULTS obtained from the performed tests, it was found an increase in some indicators. The used training program proved its effectiveness with the results from the study. CONCLUSION: This program can be successfully applied in the classes of physical education and sports at the Higher Schools.

The present study was conducted in order to increase the production of some secondary metabolic compounds of Marigold plant Tagetes erecta L.invitro. Secondary metabolic compounds quantitative and qualitative analysis using chromatography device with high performance liquid (HPLC) and compared with the mother plant. In order to increase the production of secondary metabolites, silicon dioxide (SiO2) nanoparticles used with concentrations (con, 50, 100,150,200 mg/l). Background: The present study determined whether or not the regular intake of red wine causes any significant changes in testicular and body weight parameters, given the simmering controversy over the effect of alcoholic beverages on health system. Methods: Ten male albino Wistar rats –experimental model with average body weight of 140 g were divided into two groups, A and B, (n=5 each). Group A received distilled water being the control while group B was administered a single daily dose of 5 ml/kg body weight of red wine (Carlo Rossi) for 21 days. An electronic weighing scale (G&G® Neuss, Germany) was used to take record of the initial and final body weights. The animals were anesthetized with isoflurane on the 22nd day to enable collection of the testes which were also weighed and thereafter fixed in 10% neutral formalin for routine histological studies. The analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used with the ‘R’ software to analyze the statistical data, while P Results: The micro-anatomical investigation revealed enhanced perfusion of the tissue and normal morphology of the seminiferous tubules with constituent spermatogenic cells at different stages of maturation. The biometric assessment of the organ (testis) weight showed no significant difference; whereas there was a statistically significant increase in the final body weight of the treated-experimental model when compared with the control. Conclusion: The findings indicate that the intake of red wine at the investigated amount may maintain the integrity of the primary reproductive structure and lead to body weight gain in males.

Nitrogen (N) and Sulfur (S) are nutrients that have a strong uptake interaction. Therefore, the addition of these nutrients in the right ratio has a positive influence in plant development. This work is aiming to assess the effects of the interaction between NH4+ and SO42- at different concentrations, on the growth, physiology, and macronutrient concentration in Lisianthus (Eustoma grandiflorum (Raf.) Shinn.) cv. Dark Pink ABC 1-2. The trial treatments included three concentrations of NH4+ (0, 2.5 and 5 meq L-1) and two concentrations of SO42- (7 y 10 meq L-1). The different concentrations of SO42- y NH4+ were based on Steiner’s nutrient solution modifications. We used 10-liter black polyethylene containers and perlite substrate with particles size of 0.2-0.5mm in diameter. The results showed that the stem diameter and dry biomass production of roots, stems, flowers, and total biomass were higher with 5 meq L-1 of NH4+ and 7 meq L-1 of SO42-. On the other hand, total leaf dry weight and plant height were higher with 2.5 meq L-1 of NH4+ and 7 meq L-1 of SO42-. The plants showed the same behavior in terms of photosynthesis, transpiration, and stomatal conductance. We obtained the highest concentration of N and P by applying 2.5 meq L-1 of NH4+ with 10 meq L-1 of SO42. Furthermore, Mg, and S concentrations were higher when we supplied 2.5 meq L-1 of NH4+ with the two concentrations of SO42; while K and Ca were higher when we increased the concentration of NH4+ with 7 meq L-1 of SO42-. We obtained the best growth rate, biomass production and nutrient concentration (K and Ca) in Lisianthus plants with 5 meq L-1 of NH4+/ 7 meq L-1 of SO42-; while physiological activity improved with 2.5 meq L-1 of NH4+ / 7 meq L-1 of SO42- ratio. The use of the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) method has been recognized in monitoring the inflammation process, with a proven role of proinflammatory factors in the ESR increase. The aim. To reveal the role of group antibodies in the specific increase of ESR. Methods. For the study erythrocytes with EDTA anticoagulant were used. ESR was measured after the contact of erythrocytes with saline (negative control), standard anti-A and anti-B antibodies of the IgM class, polyclonal anti-A, anti- B, anti-A, B sera (experiment), as well as serum of group AB in a ratio 1: 3: 0.2 ml of erythrocytes and 0.6 ml of saline or serum. The results were evaluated after one and 12 hours of incubation, at room temperature and at 4 °C. Results. Contact of anti-A IgM antibodies at a dilution of 1: 30 with A erythrocytes led to an increase of ESR (from (3.25 ± 0.50) mm/h to (83.7 ± 1.60) mm/h) (p < 0.001) with a presence of a red precipitate. The contact of erythrocytes with polyclonal citrate plasma (or serum) in a ratio of 1: 2 led to a similar increase in ESR in cases of the specific binding. Anti-A, B serum increased ESR of A erythrocytes up to (53.00 ± 2.64) mm/h (p < 0.001) with the presence of a red precipitate, while anti-B serum did not show such effect: (ESR -- (5.25 ± 0.50) mm/h) (p > 0.05). It should be noted that the serum absorbed by the corresponding erythrocytes showed reduced ESR values. After the absorption of anti-A antibodies by A erythrocytes the serum lost the ability to specifically increase the ESR of A erythrocytes. Conclusions. Group antibodies are able to specifically promote ESR. The found ability can be reduced by the method of specific absorption of the serum. The physicians may consider the role of group specific autoimmune antibodies in developing high values of ESR. The therapy aimed to regulate the autoimmune humoral activation and specific absorption might be useful in normalization the ESR parameter. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Gas taxes represent one of the most important revenue sources for state transportation funding. This study draws upon the theory of policy innovation and diffusion and examines the drivers of legislative decisions to directly increase state gas tax rates among 50 states from 2010 to 2018. Using a discrete event history analysis, this study finds that states raise gas tax rates in response to the growing funding needs of maintaining and improving the quality and performance of state highway infrastructure. Additionally, these findings suggest that state internal characteristics— poverty rate, personal income, rising gas prices, as well as the external influences of neighboring states affect the adoption of a gas tax rate hike. Rainfall is a key input in management of agriculture and irrigation projects and any change in this variable can influence on sustainable management of water resources, agriculture and ecosystems. Rainfall extremes motive big socioeconomic effects in Indonesia, as they're frequently followed with the aid of using disastrous events, including floods and landslides. Of precise hobby is Java Island, the most populated vicinity in Indonesia, that's susceptible to destructive flooding due to heavy rainfall. This study sought to determine the spatial and temporal variability of rainfall under past and future climate scenarios. The changes of water movement and distribution are influenced by extreme rainfall and land cover conversions. The rainfall becomes more extreme than before. The trends and patterns of extreme rainfall on Java Island, Indonesia, we were studied from 2009 to 2021 the rainy season from November to May, with January and February being the wettest months. The Stara Zagora region is characterized by the fact that there is a large number of agricultural producers who do not have enough land of their own to optimize their production. This causes increased interest and competition between them for free agricultural land, fields and permanent grassland. The purpose is to trace the dynamics of rent payments in Stara Zagora district, through dynamic relative values. A comparative analysis of the relative values characterizing the dynamics was used.

Leases and rent play a key role in agricultural production. Rental payments represent a significant part of production costs. Practice shows that in order not to lose the already occupied areas, producers increase the amount of payments to owners. The aim of the study is to track the dynamics of average prices for lease agreements for the South-Eastern region of Bulgaria. Basic and chain indices of price dynamics were used. There was a continuous growth of increase in rent payments.
