The effects of mixed culture fermentation with yeast, Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus on the quality of non-fried instant noodles were studied by rehydration test, texture analysis, electronic nose analysis and scanning electron microscopic (SEM) observation. The results showed that yeast largely affected the rehydration property and texture, while L. bulgaricus and S. thermophilus were mainly responsible for improving the flavor of non-fried instant noodles. The primary fermentation process was conducive to maintaining the cooking tolerance of non-fried instant noodles, while the secondary fermentation process was beneficial to improve the rehydration property and flavor, reducing the rehydration time to 4.0 min; the R(2) and R(7) responses of the rehydrated sample were 2.8 and 2.9, respectively. The SEM results showed that the samples had a uniform pore distribution after the secondary fermentation. Taken collectively, the optimal starter culture for the primary and secondary fermentation was 1.5% yeast + 0.075% L. bulgaricus + 0.075% S. thermophilus.

Pre-harvest yield prediction of ratoon rice is critical for guiding crop interventions in precision agriculture. However, the unique agronomic practice (i.e., varied stubble height treatment) in rice ratooning could lead to inconsistent rice phenology, which had a significant impact on yield prediction of ratoon rice. Multi-temporal unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-based remote sensing can likely monitor ratoon rice productivity and reflect maximum yield potential across growing seasons for improving the yield prediction compared with previous methods. Thus, in this study, we explored the performance of combination of agronomic practice information (API) and single-phase, multi-spectral features [vegetation indices (VIs) and texture (Tex) features] in predicting ratoon rice yield, and developed a new UAV-based method to retrieve yield formation process by using multi-temporal features which were effective in improving yield forecasting accuracy of ratoon rice. The results showed that the integrated use of VIs, Tex and API (VIs & Tex + API) improved the accuracy of yield prediction than single-phase UAV imagery-based feature, with the panicle initiation stage being the best period for yield prediction (R2 as 0.732, RMSE as 0.406, RRMSE as 0.101). More importantly, compared with previous multi-temporal UAV-based methods, our proposed multi- temporal method (multi-temporal model VIs & Tex: R2 as 0.795, RMSE as 0.298, RRMSE as 0.072) can increase R2 by 0.020–0.111 and decrease RMSE by 0.020–0.080 in crop yield forecasting. This study provides an effective method for accurate pre-harvest yield prediction of ratoon rice in precision agriculture, which is of great significance to take timely means for ensuring ratoon rice production and food security.

Diarylethene (DAE) is one of the most widely used functional units for electrochromic or photochromic materials. To better understand the molecular modification effects on the electrochromic and photochromic properties of DAE, two modification strategies, substitution with functional groups or heteroatoms, were investigated theoretically by density functional theory calculations. It is found that red-shifted absorption spectra caused by a decreased highest occupied molecular orbital–lowest unoccupied molecular orbital energy gap and S0 → S1 transition energy during the ring-closing reaction become more significant by adding different functional substituents. In addition, for two isomers, the energy gap and S0 → S1 transition energy decreased by heteroatom substitution of S atoms with O or NH, while they increased by replacing two S atoms with CH2. For intramolecular isomerization, one-electron excitation is the most effective way to trigger the closed-ring (O → C) reaction, while the open-ring (C → O) reaction occurs most readily in the presence of one-electron reduction. Moreover, it is confirmed that substitution with strong electron donating groups (–OCH3/–NH2) or with one O/two CH2 heteroatoms leads to a more favorable closed-ring (O → C) reaction. Functionalized with strong electron-withdrawing groups (–NO2 and –COOH) or one/two NH heteroatom substitutions, the open-ring (C → O) reaction is easier. Our results confirmed that the photochromic and electrochromic properties of DAE can be tuned effectively by molecular modifications, which provides theoretical guidance for the design of new DAE-based photochromic/electrochromic materials. Summary: Mounting evidence shows that bisphenol A (BPA) is associated with metabolic risk factors. The aim of this study was to review related epidemiologic studies and conduct a meta‐analysis to quantitatively estimate the association between BPA and metabolic syndrome. Four electronic databases were systematically searched to identify suitable articles. A total of 47 published studies were finally included. Two studies involved metabolic syndrome. Of the 17, 17, 14, and 13 studies on the relationship between BPA with abdominal obesity, blood pressure, fasting plasma glucose, and dyslipidemia, 10, 6, 3, and 4 studies were included in the meta‐analysis, respectively. The results showed that the risk of abdominal obesity increased with the increase of BPA exposure, especially in the group with higher BPA exposure levels (Quartile 2 vs. Quartile 1, pooled OR = 1.16, 95%CI: 1.01, 1.33; Q3 vs. Q1, pooled OR = 1.31, 95%CI: 1.13, 1.51; Q4 vs. Q1, pooled OR = 1.40, 95%CI: 1.21, 1.61). However, there was no significant correlation between BPA exposure and metabolic syndrome components including hypertension, abnormal fasting plasma glucose, and dyslipidemia. The present study found that BPA exposure is significantly associated with a higher risk of abdominal obesity. Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) is a promising therapy for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) via rectifying gut microbiota. The aim of this study was to identify a mechanism of how specific bacteria-associated immune response contributes to alleviated colitis. Forty donors were divided into high (donor H) and low (donor L) groups according to the diversity and the abundance of Bacteroides and Faecalibacterium by 16S rRNA sequencing. FMT was performed on dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced colitis in mice. Mice with colitis showed significant improvement in intestinal injury and immune imbalance after FMT with group donor H (P < 0.05). Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron and Faecalibacterium prausnitzii were identified as targeted strains in donor feces by real-time PCR and droplet digital PCR. Mice with colitis were treated with mono- or dual-bacterial gavage therapy. Dual-bacterial therapy significantly ameliorated intestinal injury compared with mono-bacterial therapy (P < 0.05). Dual-bacterial therapy increased the M2/M1 macrophage polarization and improved the Th17/Treg imbalance and elevated IL-10 production by Tregs compared with the DSS group (P < 0.05). Metabolomics showed increased abundance of lecithin in the glycerophospholipid metabolism pathway. In conclusion, B. thetaiotaomicron and F. prausnitzii, as the key bacteria in donor feces, alleviate colitis in mice. The mechanism may involve increasing lecithin and regulating IL-10 production of intestinal Tregs. Zeolites are a class of catalysts with specific pore structures as well as different pore sizes, which are now widely used in various shape-selective catalytic reactions. In this paper, a uniform micro/mesoporous core–shell composite HZSM-@MCM-41 comprising zeolite was successfully prepared by coating mesoporous MCM-41 shells on nanosized ZSM-5 cores using a two-step hydrothermal method. Nanoscale ZSM-5 cores with different acidity were successfully prepared by changing the Si/Al of the initial solution of pristine ZSM-5, and three different thicknesses of MCM-41 shell layers were easily encapsulated on the surface of ZSM-5 with different acidity by varying the amount of silicon source added in the secondary hydrothermal crystallization process. The synthesized series of micro-mesoporous core–shell catalysts were also applied to the catalytic fast pyrolysis in lignin. In the catalytic fast pyrolysis of lignin, the mesoporous structure promoted the transition of biomass pyrolysis intermediate to liquid products, and the acidity of the HZSM-5 core facilitated their catalytic transformation to aromatic hydrocarbons. Among all the tested catalysts, the HZ@M-80-ll catalyst with an internal Si/Al = 80 and MCM-41 shell thickness of ∼25 nm exhibited the highest production of light aromatics and phenols. A comprehensive review was conducted on the multiple impacts of the Maillard reaction and its products in food processing, along with an exploration of its relationship with food quality and safety. Additionally, a summary of typical innovative reaction product detection technologies was provided. It was noted that this reaction generated brown polymers (e. g., 5-hydroxymethylfurfural) or nitrogen-containing copolymers (melanoidins), inducing browning in food systems, and produced substances (e. g., ketones, aldehydes, alkyl compounds) significantly affecting food flavor. Furthermore, the reaction could not only alter the structural properties of food (e. g., reducing protein fluorescence and surface hydrophobicity) but also create carriers with specific functionalities (e. g., emulsion gelation carriers). While the reaction contributed positively to the generation of antioxidant compounds and the elimination of allergens in food, it may also lead to the formation of potentially harmful substances such as advanced glycation end products, acrylamide, heterocyclic amines, and 5-hydroxymethylfurfural. Currently, major detection techniques for Maillard reaction products include spectroscopy, chromatography, and fluorescence compound characterization methods. Fluorescent compounds, as important intermediates in the Maillard reaction, can be utilized to construct fluorescent probes for real-time monitoring. Future research should delve deeper into the formation mechanisms and influencing factors of harmful substances or further optimize the accuracy and efficiency of these detection methods to provide more comprehensive theoretical support for the continuous development of food processing technology. Mucin‐2 (MUC2) secreted by goblet cells participates in the intestinal barrier, but its mechanism in acute necrotizing pancreatitis (ANP) remains unclear. In acute pancreatitis (AP) patients, the functions of goblet cells (MUC2, FCGBP, CLCA1, and TFF3) decreased, and MUC2 was negatively correlated with AP severity. ANP rats treated with pilocarpine (PILO) (PILO+ANP rats) to deplete MUC2 showed more serious pancreatic and colonic injuries, goblet cell dysfunction, gut dysbiosis, and bacterial translocation than those of ANP rats. GC‐MS analysis of feces showed that PILO+ANP rats had lower levels of butyric acid, isobutyric acid, isovaleric acid, and hexanoic acid than those of ANP rats. The expression of MUC2 was associated with colonic injury and gut dysbiosis. All these phenomena could be relieved, and goblet cell functions were also partially reversed by MUC2 supplementation in ANP rats. TNF‐α‐treated colonoids had exacerbated goblet cell dysfunction. MUC2 expression was negatively correlated with the levels of pro‐inflammatory cytokines (IL‐1β and IL‐6) (p <.05) and positively related to the expression of tight junction proteins (Claudin 1, Occludin, and ZO1) (p <.05). Sulfone‐based molecules are widely used as molecular building blocks for host materials in the emissive layers of organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs). In this work, the electronic properties of dibenzo[b,d]thiophene 5,5‐dioxide (DBTO) and its derivatives were investigated by quantum‐chemical techniques to get more detailed information about the carbazole and biphenylamino functionalization effects on the charge injection property and triplet transition energy of such SO2‐based host materials. Calculated results demonstrated that the charge injection property of DBTO can be tuned by different functionalization strategies. Vertical ionization potential (VIP) and vertical electron affinity (VEA) values are reduced by functionalization, especially in the case of biphenylamino substitution. The S0 → S1 and S0 → T1* transitions, which are mainly dominated by the HOMO and LUMO energy levels, can also be tuned by functionalization. For the S0 → S1 transition, the effect of carbazole substitution is larger than that of biphenylamino substitution, while the effect of carbazole substitution on the S0 → T1* transition energies of DBTO is smaller than that of biphenylamino substitution. This effect will be more obvious if the number of introduced functional groups increases. Two-dimensional covalent organic frameworks (COFs) are a new type of porous crystalline material constructed by the linkage of organic building units through covalent bonds to produce predetermined structures. Here, the electronic structure evolution induced by the charge redistribution during the construction of two-dimensional polymer networks (sp2c-COF-2 and COF-66) from building units to crystal frameworks is examined theoretically. The calculated results demonstrate that the electronic structure of the framework is controlled by the relative energy level between the frontier orbitals of organic building core and linker units as well as the charge transfer amount between them during the construction of the framework. Moreover, it is observed that a noncoplanar framework becomes more conjugated because the charge transfer amount between core and linker units becomes larger during the construction of 2D frameworks, which leads to a larger charge carrier mobility within the 2D structure of COFs. The charge carrier mobility along the z-direction of the COF crystal is dominated by the interface interaction between COF layers. Thereby, we believed reasonable design or selection of organic building units plays a key role in improving the electronic and optoelectronic properties of such 2D organic frameworks. Background: Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) may contribute to disease remission in ulcerative colitis (UC). We studied the microbiota change and its regulation on T cells after FMT. Methods: Patients with mild to moderately active UC were included to receive FMT. The intestinal histopathological changes and barrier function were evaluated. The fecal samples of donors and patients were analyzed by 16S rRNA gene-based microbiota analysis, and the colon Th17 and Treg cells were assessed. Results: Fifteen patients completed the 8-week-follow-up. A total of 10 patients (66.7%) were in the responders (RE) group and five in the non-responders (NR) group. The Nancy histological index and fecal calprotectin decreased (p < 0.001, p = 0.06, respectively) and Occludin and Claudin1 increased in the RE group. The abundance of Faecalibaterium increased significantly by 2.3-fold in the RE group at week 8 (p = 0.043), but it was suppressed in the NR group. Fecal calprotectin (r = −0.382, p = 0.003) and Nancy index (r = −0.497, p = 0.006) were correlated inversely with the abundance of Faecalibacterium, respectively. In the RE group the relative mRNA expression of RORγt decreased and Foxp3 increased. Significantly decreased CD4+ RORγt+ Th17 and increased CD4+ Foxp3+ Treg were also observed in the RE group. The relative abundance of Faecalibacterium correlated with CD4+ RORγt+ Th17 (r = −0.430, p = 0.018) and CD4+ Foxp3+ Treg (r = 0.571, p = 0.001). Conclusions: The long-term Faecalibaterium colonization following FMT plays a crucial role in UC remission by alleviating intestinal inflammation. With the aim of providing a deeper understanding of the underlying degradation mechanisms associated with the lifetime of blue emitters during the decay process of blue PhOLEDs, quantum chemistry studies were performed to examine the chemical degradation mechanism of common sky blue emitter iridium(III)bis(4,6-di-fluorophenyl)-pyridinato-N,C2′)picolinate (FIrpic) and its derivatives with density functional theory (DFT) calculations. For these Ir(III) emitters, the Ir–N1 bond between the ancillary ligand (picolinate) and central iridium will be broken by external light stimuli, which is followed by conversion from the initial emissive metal-to-ligand charge transfer (3MLCT) state to the non-emissive metal centered (3MC) state. The potential energy change for the photo-induced degradation path is then dominated by the energy levels of the 3MT and 3MC states, which are related to the triplet transition energy and the Ir–N1 bond strength, respectively. Thereby, the Ir–N1 bond dissociation in the lowest triplet state will be much harder to proceed if the S0 → T1 transition energy gets more energetically stable or the bond strength gets larger. It is believed that strategic modification of the ancillary ligand, especially by substitution of electron-donating groups at the para position of the pyridyl N atom or extension of the p-electron delocalization, is an effective and easy way to enhance the photochemical stability of the typical blue emitter FIrpic. Recently, human behavior sensing based on WiFi channel state information has drawn more attention in the ubiquitous computing field because it can provide accurate information about the target under a device-free scheme. This paper concentrates on user authentication applications using channel state information. We investigate state-of-the-art studies and survey their characteristics. First, we introduce the concept of channel state information and outline the fundamental principle of user authentication. These systems measure the dynamic channel state information profile and implement user authentication by exploring the channel state information variation caused by users because each user generates unique channel state information fluctuations. Second, we elaborate on signal processing approaches, including signal selection and preprocessing, feature extraction, and classification methods. Third, we thoroughly investigate the latest user authentication applications. Specifically, we analyze these applications from typical human action, including gait, activity, gesture, and stillness. High responsivity, fast response time, ultra-wide detection spectrum are pursuing goals for state-of-art photodetectors. Cd3As2, as a three-dimensional (3D) Dirac semimetal, has a zero bandgap, high light absorption rate in broad spectral region, and higher mobility than graphene at room temperature. However, photoconductive detectors based Cd3As2 suffer low quantum efficiency due to the absence of high built-in field. Here, a Cd3As2 nanoplate/multilayer MoS2 heterojunction photodetector was fabricated which achieved a quite high responsivity of 2.7 × 103A W−1 at room temperature. The photodetector exhibits a short response time of in broad spectra region from ultraviolet (365 nm) to short-wavelength-infrared (1550 nm) and reached 65 μs at 650 nm. The anaerobic treatment process is a complicated multivariable system that is nonlinear and time varying. Moreover, biogas production rates are an important indicator for reflecting operational performance of the anaerobic treatment system. In this work, a novel model fuzzy wavelet neural network based on the genetic algorithm (GA-FWNN) that combines the advantages of the genetic algorithm, fuzzy logic, neural network, and wavelet transform was established for prediction of effluent quality and biogas production rates in a full-scale anaerobic wastewater treatment process. Moreover, the dataset was preprocessed via a self-adapted fuzzy c-means clustering before training the network and a hybrid algorithm for acquiring the optimal parameters of the multiscale GA-FWNN for improving the network precision. The analysis results indicate that the FWNN with the optimal algorithm had a high speed of convergence and good quality of prediction, and the FWNN model was more advantageous than the traditional intelligent coupling models (NN, WNN, and FNN) in prediction accuracy and robustness. The determination coefficients R2 of the FWNN models for predicting both the effluent quality and biogas production rates were over 0.95. The proposed model can be used for analyzing both biogas (methane) production rates and effluent quality over the operational time period, which plays an important role in saving energy and eliminating pollutant discharge in the wastewater treatment system. We previously reported that acute necrotizing pancreatitis (ANP) after normal or high-fat diet is associated with a decreased number of Paneth cells in ileal crypts. Here, we ablated Paneth cells in a rat model of ANP after normal and high-fat diet to investigate the effects on disease symptoms. Adult male Sprague-Dawley rats received standard rat chow or a high-fat diet for 2 weeks, after which they were treated with dithizone to deplete Paneth cells. Six hours later, ANP was established by retrograde injection of sodium taurocholate into the biliopancreatic duct. Rats were sacrificed at 6, 12, and 24 h for assessment. We found dithizone aggravated ANP-associated pathological injuries to the pancreas and ileum in rats on high-fat or standard diets. Lysozyme expression in ileal crypts was decreased, while serum inflammatory cytokines (TNFα, IL-1β, and IL-17A) and intestinal permeability (serum DAO activity and D-lactate) were increased. Expression of tight junction proteins (claudin-1, zo-1, and occludin) was decreased. Using high-throughput 16S rRNA sequencing, we found dithizone reduced microbiota diversity and altered microbiota composition in rats on high-fat or standard diets. Dithizone decreased fecal short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) in rats on high-fat or standard diets. Changes in intestinal microbiota correlated significantly with SCFAs, lysozyme, DAO activity, D-lactate, inflammatory cytokines, and pathological injury to the pancreas and ileum in rats on high-fat or standard diets. In conclusion, ablation of Paneth cells exacerbates pancreatic and intestinal injuries in ANP after normal and high-fat diet. These symptoms may be related to changes in the intestinal microbiota. Aim. Monocytes play an important role in acute pancreatitis (AP). Hypertriglyceridemic pancreatitis (HTGP) is always more severe than normal lipid-AP, whether the mechanism of aggravation involves monocyte subsets remains unknown though. The present study was aimed to analyze changes of peripheral blood M1 and M2 monocytes in HTGP patients. Methods. A total of 90 subjects were enrolled, among which 16 diagnosed with HTGP, 34 with acute biliary pancreatitis (ABP), 20 with hypertriglyceridemia (HTG), and 20 healthy controls (HC). Peripheral blood CD14+CD86+ M1 and CD14+CD206+ M2 monocytes were examined by flow cytometry on days 1, 3, and 7 after admission. Results. We found a marked increase in total and M1 monocyte count in AP patients (P<0.05). In HTGP, the percentage of M1 monocytes in white blood cells was significantly higher on days 1, 3, and 7, while M2 monocyte percentage was decreased on day 3, compared with ABP (P<0.05). In mild HTGP, M1 monocyte count and percentage gradually decreased, while M2 monocyte percentage gradually increased from day 1 to 7. In severe HTGP, M1 monocyte count and percentage rose to the highest point while M2 were the lowest on day 3. Additionally, the level of M1 monocytes showed a positive correlation with plasma triglyceride and Ranson score of HTGP patients. Conclusions. Peripheral blood M1 and M2 monocytes showed different dynamic changes in mild and severe HTGP. A more dominant role of CD14+CD86+ M1 monocytes may be involved in the pathogenesis of HTGP. The residue levels and composition profiles of phthalate acid esters (PAEs) in water and sediment samples were investigated in eight urban lakes of Guangzhou, China. A total of 23 water and 16 sediment samples were collected. Results showed that all target PAEs were detected with dimethyl phthalate and di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate as the most abundant compounds. The total concentrations of PAEs from different urban lakes were in the range of 273–1173 ng/L for water and 16.5–242 ng/g for sediments, with the geometric mean of 515 ng/L and 75.0 ng/g, respectively. Zhongshan Park Lake and Liwan Lake were the most highly contaminated with PAEs in water and in sediment, respectively. The spatial distribution of PAEs exhibited that distribution coefficients of PAEs between sediment and water are consistent with hydrophilicity of PAEs, and pollution levels and characteristics of PAEs in different lakes had a close relationship with the geographical location of the lake, industrial and commercial types, population density, and the association between the lake and the Pearl River. According to Pearson correlation analysis, PAEs would be derived from similar or identical sources. In the field of energy-efficient smart windows, vanadium dioxide (VO2) is a promising material due to its reversible metal–insulator transition. However, the development of VO2-based smart windows has been restricted by several drawbacks in performance, including high phase transition temperature (TC), low luminous transmittance (Tlum), insufficient solar energy modulation ability (ΔTsol) and unpopular color. In this paper, Fe/Mg co-doping is proposed for the first time to improve the thermochromic performance of VO2 films. Interestingly, the Fe/Mg co-doped films can exhibit outstanding thermochromic performance with a balanced solar regulation efficiency of 12.8%, suitable luminous transmittance up to 42.1%, and low phase transition temperature around 38.2 °C, which is very promising for practical applications. In addition, the color of films is modified to increase their brightness and lighten the brown color. Different from previous work on co-doped VO2 focusing on W6+ and low-valence (＜4+) elements, Fe3+/Mg2+ co-doping is found to have the synergistic combination of the advantages of single doping with Fe and Mg by getting rid of the neutralization between charge carriers e− and h+. Such a feature is especially desired for optimizing the thermochromic performance with co-doping methods. Vanadium dioxide (VO2), due to its well-known metal–insulator phase transition (MIT), is a promising candidate to realize optical modulation devices operating at terahertz (THz) frequencies. Moreover, the application of VO2 on modulation devices requires a narrow hysteresis width associated with a significant change in its optical properties, which is quite challenging in Si-based polycrystalline VO2 films. In this paper, by doping high-valence metal ions (W6+ or Nb5+) into polycrystalline VO2 films, a narrowed hysteresis width and a decreased phase transition temperature are observed. Intriguingly, these doped VO2 films always maintain a high THz field modulation depth despite the low phase transition temperature resulting from the usage of either W or Nb dopants. To sum up, the optimized VO2 film with 6.5% Nb doping deposited on high-purity silicon substrates exhibits the best MIT characteristics with a giant field THz modulation depth of 62.5%, a small hysteresis width down to 4.8 °C and a low phase transition temperature of around 31.1 °C, which is very excellent for practical applications. Furthermore, we synthetically investigate the influences of W and Nb doping on the microstructures and MIT characteristics of the polycrystalline VO2 films. Doping Nb5+ and W6+ ions has similar effects through a similar mechanism. In addition, the excellent balance between the THz modulation ability and phase transition temperature is related to the high crystallinity degree of the doped films. The annealing process may play a key role in this peculiar case. These results show that the excellent MIT properties of the polycrystalline VO2 films can be effectively tailored by our distinctive preparation method, which provides a feasible solution to the design and fabrication of VO2 films with suitable MIT properties for THz devices. Distracted driving is one of the main causes of vehicle collisions in the United States. Passively monitoring a driver's activities constitutes the basis of an automobile safety system that can potentially reduce the number of accidents by estimating the driver's focus of attention. This paper proposes an inexpensive vision-based system to accurately detect Eyes Off the Road (EOR). The system has three main components: 1) robust facial feature tracking; 2) head pose and gaze estimation; and 3) 3-D geometric reasoning to detect EOR. From the video stream of a camera installed on the steering wheel column, our system tracks facial features from the driver's face. Using the tracked landmarks and a 3-D face model, the system computes head pose and gaze direction. The head pose estimation algorithm is robust to nonrigid face deformations due to changes in expressions. Finally, using a 3-D geometric analysis, the system reliably detects EOR. Hyperspectral (HS) images can provide abundant and fine spectral information on land surface. However, their applications may be limited by their narrow bandwidth and small coverage area. In this paper, we propose an HS image simulation method based on nonnegative matrix factorization (NMF), which aims at generating HS images using existing multispectral (MS) data. Our main novelty is proposing a spectral transformation matrix and new simulation method. First, we develop a spectral transformation matrix that transforms HS endmembers into MS endmembers. Second, we utilize an iteration scheme to optimize the HS and MS endmembers. The test MS image is then factorized by the MS endmembers to obtain the abundance matrix. The result image is constructed by multiplying the abundance matrix by the HS endmembers. Experiments prove that our method provides high spectral quality by combining prior spectral endmembers. The iteration schemes reduce the simulation error and improve the accuracy of the results. In comparative trials, the spectral angle, RMSE, and correlation coefficient of our method are 5.986, 284.6, and 0.905, respectively. Thus, our method outperforms other simulation methods. We present a p-n-p monolayer graphene photodetector doped with titanium dioxide nanotubes for detecting light from visible to near-infrared (405 to 1310 nm) region. The built-in electric field separates the photo-induced electrons and holes to generate photocurrent without bias voltage, which allows the device to have meager power consumption. Moreover, the detector is very sensitive to the illumination area, and we analyze the reason using the energy band theory. The response time of the detector is about 30 ms. Image pansharpening can generate a high-resolution hyperspectral (HS) image by combining a high-resolution panchromatic image and a HS image. In this paper, we propose a variational pansharpening method for HS imagery constrained by spectral shape and Gram–Schmidt (GS) transformation. The main novelties of the proposed method are the additional spectral and correlation fidelity terms. First, we design the spectral fidelity term, which utilizes the spectral shape feature of the neighboring pixels with a new weight distribution strategy to reduce spectral distortion caused by the change in spatial resolution. Second, we consider that the correlation fidelity term uses the result of GS adaptive (GSA) to constrain the correlation, thereby preventing the low correlation between the pansharpened image and the reference image. Then, the pansharpening is formulized as the minimization of a new energy function, whose solution is the pansharpened image. In comparative trials, the proposed method outperforms GSA, guided filter principal component analysis, modulation transfer function, smoothing filter-based intensity modulation, the classic and the band-decoupled variational methods. Compared with the classic variation pansharpening, our method decreases the spectral angle from 3.9795 to 3.2789, decreases the root-mean-square error from 309.6987 to 228.6753, and also increases the correlation coefficient from 0.9040 to 0.9367. Tunable complementary split ring resonators (CSRRs) based on monolayer graphene are presented in terahertz regime. By applying different gate voltage, the Fermi level and optical conductivity of monolayer graphene pattern can be changed. Here, we employ a numerical simulation to study the interaction of light with graphene CSRRs. The results indicate that the extinction in transmission becomes stronger, and the resonance frequency presents blue shift with higher Fermi level of the graphene pattern. Three pronounced resonant peaks appear which can be modulated dynamically in the range of 1-2THz and 3-7THz, and realizing dynamic broadband terahertz modulation, the modulation depth exceeds 85% at all three resonant peaks, the highest modulation depth reaches 98.8% at 7.47THz. Mie resonance sphere-lens-lithography has proved to be a good candidate for fabrication of large-area tunable surface nanopattern arrays. Different patterns on photoresist surface are obtained theoretically by adjusting optical coupling among neighboring spheres with different gap sizes. The effect of light reflection from the substrate on the pattern produced on the photoresist with a thin thickness is also discussed. Sub-micron hexagonal star-shaped and ring-shaped patterns arrays are achieved with close-packed spheres arrays and spheres arrays with big gaps, respectively. Changing of star-shaped vertices is induced by different polarization of illumination. Experimental results agree well with the simulation. By using smaller resonance spheres, sub-400 nm star-shaped and ring-shaped patterns can be realized. These tunable patterns are different from results of previous reports and have enriched pattern morphology fabricated by sphere-lens-lithography, which can find application in biosensor and optic devices.
