Although the ideology of pro-work conservatism prevails in East Asia, scholars have largely overlooked its discursive construction in media communication from a linguistic perspective. This paper examines the discursive construction of pro-work conservatism in 3,000 Weibo posts with the most "likes" in response to China's implementation of the three-child policy. Using the sociosemantic approach as an analytic framework, the paper finds that three dominant themes underpin the discourse of pro-work conservatism: women's sacrifice in the labour market, the high cost of raising children, and gender-essentialist norms. This discourse is articulated in the posts via a number of discursive strategies, including authorization, morality, and rationalisation. This paper sheds light on the influence of the one-child policy and the awakening of feminist consciousness in the new era and highlights the implications of language use in shaping gender-role ideologies to influence public perception. In order to explore the impact of economic forest development on soil and provide scientific basis for sustainable development of regional economic forest and prevention of soil degradation, three representative economic forests, navel orange forest, tea forest and bamboo forest, were selected in the hilly area of South Jiangxi Province. The changes of soil aggregates and organic carbon under different plant planting conditions were studied by comparing the conifer-broadleaf forest with no disturbance. The results indicated that the soil aggregates of coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest and tea forest are mainly large aggregates and intermediate aggregates, while those of navel orange forest and bamboo forest are mainly intermediate aggregates and micro aggregates. The MWD and GMD of soil aggregates in conifer-broadleaf forest and tea forest were significantly higher than those of navel orange forest and bamboo forest, the WSA0.25 of conifer-broadleaf forest was significantly higher than that of navel orange forest (86.17%), bamboo forest (84.01%) and tea forest (81.86%), the PAD of conifer-broadleaf forest was significantly lower than that of navel orange forest (4.58%), bamboo forest (12.44%) and tea forest (12.70%). The organic carbon content of soil aggregates in coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest and tea forest was significantly higher than that in navel orange forest and bamboo forest. When conifer-broadleaf forest is developed into economic forest, it will lead to fragmentation of large aggregates, hinder the accumulation of soil organic carbon, and increase the risk of soil erosion. Although the organic carbon content, MWD and GMD of tea forest under artificial management are similar to those of conifer-broadleaf forest, but WSA0.25 and PAD are poor, indicating that the soil and water loss risk of tea forest is still high, so in the evaluation of soil and water loss risk of economic forest, only one soil aggregate stability index can not be considered. The molluscicidal effects of Eomecon chionantha alkaloids (ECA) against Oncomelania hupensis snails were determined by immersion method. The molluscicidal effect was positively related to ECA concentration, immersion time and temperature of the immersion solution. The mortality of the snails reached 100% by 72 hours in ECA at a concentration of 2.5 mg/l at 25 degrees C. The alanine aminotransferase (ALT) level of liver cells treated with ECA was higher than controls at 24 and 36 hours (57.7 and 60.3 U/l versus 39.2 and 49.2 U/1, respectively) but the level decreased at 48-72 hours after treatment. The decrease points to the toxic effect of ECA against liver cells. After ECA treatment, the liver cells were edematous with swollen or disintegrating nuclei; they were enlarged and had vacuolated rER; they had dilated and vesiculated mitochondria with broken crests further indicating a hepatotoxic effect of ECA in O. hupensis snails. ECA has a molluscicidal effect that may be of practical use in the field to control O. hupensis snails.
