This research aims to determine: 1) rating of investment attraction based on investor assessment; and 2) the factors which have significant effects on investment attraction of the city. Location research is in Batu city Indonesia with number of samples as 65 investors. The data analysis technique of this study uses a Multiple Regression Analysis. The independent variables used in this study are: 1) infrastructure; 2) labor availability; 3) agglomeration; 4) natural resources, 5) markets; 6) licensing system, and 7) leadership. Investment attraction is indicated with rating assessment by investors. The results show: 1) rating of Batu city investment attraction is high; and 2) licensing system and leadership have significant influences on investment attraction. Based on the result, it is very important for a city to create a conducive climate (pro investment) to attract investors, especially in the ease of the licensing system. In addition, local governments must be able to provide positive signals in the form of commitment for the investment development in Batu city. This is necessary since the city development process really needs investor support.

Microplastic pollution in urban water bodies is a growing environmental challenge with significant implications for ecosystems and human health. This study aims to characterize microplastic contamination in Jakarta's Sunter River, Buaran River, and Marunda Estuary, which are crucial conduits for plastic waste into the marine environment. Using Raman spectroscopy, we conducted an extensive analysis of water, sediment, and biota samples from these sites to identify the types and sources of microplastic polymers present. Our findings reveal significant contamination, with polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polypropylene (PP) being the most common polymers. The Sunter River had high levels of PET, primarily from discarded beverage bottles and food packaging, while the Buaran River was primarily contaminated with PP, commonly found in plastic containers, automotive parts, and textiles. In contrast, the Marunda Estuary showed a distinct pollution pattern, with a significant presence of foam particles likely originating from construction and packaging materials. This research demonstrates the effectiveness of Raman spectroscopy in precisely and consistently identifying microplastics, surpassing traditional visual inspection methods. By accurately determining the chemical composition of microplastics, Raman spectroscopy enhances our understanding of the origins and pathways of plastic pollution in urban environments. The study's conclusions underscore the need for targeted waste management strategies to address specific polymer types and reduce their environmental impact. For example, increasing recycling efforts for PET bottles and minimizing the use of single-use plastics made from PP could significantly decrease the presence of these microplastics in water bodies. Furthermore, by elucidating the polymer composition of microplastics, our work contributes to a better understanding of the associated health risks, as different polymers interact differently with environmental toxins. However, this study has limitations. It focuses only on selected urban water bodies in Jakarta, and the findings may not be applicable to other regions. Despite these limitations, our research has practical value, as it can inform policy-making and the development of interventions to mitigate microplastic pollution in urban aquatic environments. Indonesia, as a country rich in natural resources and biodiversity, has a great opportunity to develop an environmentally friendly tourism sector. In the last two decades, there has been an increasing interest in tourism development, especially with regard to green tourism. This study aims to empirically test the effect of green tourism differentiation and green marketing on tourists’ decisions to visit certain destinations. The independent variables for this analysis are green tourism differentiation and green marketing. The dependent variable is visit decision. The intervening variable is visit interest. The sample for this research draws from tourists who are visiting or have already visited Paharangan Village Agrotourism. The engineering method, non-probability sampling, was used for the sampling. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires directly to respondents, totalling as many as 130 questionnaires, and multiple linear regression and path analyses were conducted. The results show that while green tourism differentiation and green marketing significantly positively affect visit decision and visit interest of tourists, visit interest does not affect visit decision, and visit interest is not proven as an intervening variable between green tourism differentiation and green marketing on visiting decisions. Research Aims: Analyze the factors that influence the use of Linktree using UTAUT theory. This research analyzes Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, and Facilitating Conditions, Behavioral Intention and Use Behavior in using Linktree by customers. Design/Methodology/Approach: This research examines construction companies that were founded in 2012. Researchers used a sample of 119 customers using Stratified Random Sampling. The analytical method used in this research is UTAUT. Research Findings: Findings show that Performance Expectancy and Effort Expectancy do not have a significant influence on Linktree's Behavioral Intention or Use Behavior. On the other hand, Social Influence and Facilitating Conditions have a significant impact on these two variables. Social Influence influences Behavioral Intention and Use Behavior due to recommendations and social norms received by users. Facilitating Conditions plays an important role in supporting the use of Linktree through the availability of adequate infrastructure and technical support. Apart from that, Behavioral Intention is the most significant factor in determining usage behavior. And the influence of Facilitating Conditions on Behavioral Intention is strengthened when mediated by Use Behavior. Theoretical Contribution/Originality: This research provides a theoretical contribution to the understanding of factors influencing the acceptance and use of new technologies in the context of small and medium-sized companies. Practitioners/Policy Implications: Companies should focus on practical benefits that customers gain, such as easy access to various important links on one page. And considering the significant social influence, marketing strategies must be reinforced with positive testimonials from satisfied customers. Research Limitations/Implications: Companies must focus on the practical benefits of using Linktree, strengthen social influence-based marketing strategies through customer testimonials and recommendations, and ensure conditions that facilitate use remain optimal with adequate infrastructure and technical support. Eco‐friendly composite made of Timoho Fiber (TF) continuously developed to get the best performance to replace plastic‐based synthetic fibers. This study focuses on investigating physical characteristics, mechanical properties, thermal analysis, and the morphology of TF‐reinforced polyester composites by adding organic (egg shell powder‐ESP) and inorganic (aluminum powder‐AP) fillers. Hot press method was used in the composite fabrication with considered volume fraction of TF, organic, and inorganic fillers. The results showed that the density of TF‐polyester composites decreases with the increasing volume fraction of the fibers. For additional fillers, it was shown that AP was more effective to be used to improve density than ESP. The tensile and impact strength of the composite increased with increasing TF volume. However, the addition of ESP and AP fillers into the composite caused different mechanical characteristics. Filler addition increased the elasticity modulus, toughness, thermal resistance increased, while the tensile strength decreased. ESP and AP fillers provided the best thermal resistance due to the relatively high thermal conductivity of ±1700°C compared to composites without fillers and amorphous ESP fillers. During the Covid-19 epidemic, distance learning systems gained widespread acceptance as a viable alternative to traditional educational services. Over ten million madrasah-based students participated in the Learning From Home (BDR) program with the bare minimum requirements for the implementation of inclusive religious education through the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia's circular No. 4 of 2020 and the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia. This exhaustive literature analysis dives into the philosophical basis of distance education. It provides context and reason for a religious education based on madrasas. This study examines remote learning implementation at madrasah institutions from a policy and practical standpoint and makes recommendations for appropriate programs. The findings of this study contribute to the creation of an inclusive and responsive road map for religious education in Indonesia. The high potential for growth in the digital economy through e-commerce has penetrated various aspects of business life. This research focused on image interactive technology because using animation and image design through social media can provide an attractive nuance to the viewer and generate more trust. The sale of goods online requires an active and attractive nuance of content so that customers are happy and choose online sales media as a convenient online shopping medium. This research was conducted in Malang City, East Java, with a sample of 190 respondents, all of whom have transacted online or bought their necessities online. The data were analysed through path analysis and hypothesis testing. A study on the effect of chitosan chelating agent on the formation of spinel LiMn2O4 using sol-gel method is reported. Chitosan was added into a precursor solution containing lithium and manganese ions and then was heated at 600 °C to form spinel LiMn2O4. Chitosan chelating agent performed better in precursor solution at pH 4 than at pH 8. X-ray diffraction demonstrated that samples prepared with chitosan resulted in higher weight percentage of spinel LiMn2O4 compared to samples prepared without chelating agent or with citric acid. Combination between chitosan and citric acid resulted in the highest weight percentage of spinel LiMn2O4 compared to other samples, amounted to 91%, with crystallite size of 47 nm. Scanning electron microscopy images showed that chitosan helps to direct the formation of pyramid-like structure and decrease the particles’ size and agglomeration. Chitosan was also employed as a template to obtain spinel LiMn2O4 with high surface area via formation of porous structure with the highest resulting surface area of 18 m2/g. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Stiffness is the main parameter of the beam's resistance to deformation. Based on advanced research, the stiffness of bamboo-reinforced concrete beams (BRC) tends to be lower than the stiffness of steel-reinforced concrete beams (SRC). However, the advantage of bamboo-reinforced concrete beams has enough good ductility according to the fundamental properties of bamboo, which have high tensile strength and high elastic properties. This study aims to predict and validate the stiffness of bamboo-reinforced concrete beams from the experimental results data using artificial neural networks (ANNs). The number of beam test specimens were 25 pieces with a size of 75 mm × 150 mm × 1100 mm. The testing method uses the four-point method with simple support. The results of the analysis showed the similarity between the stiffness of the beam's experimental results with the artificial neural network (ANN) analysis results. The similarity rate of the two analyses is around 99% and the percentage of errors is not more than 1%, both for bamboo-reinforced concrete beams (BRC) and steel-reinforced concrete beams (SRC). During a corrosion inhibition test, a combination of common electrochemical corrosion test methods with an in-situ quantification of H 2 evolution could provide a comprehensive analysis of the effectiveness of an organic inhibitor. This work analyzes the corrosion inhibition efficiency of Kleinhovia hospita plant extract on carbon steel specimens polarized in 1 M HCl, based on acquired H 2 bubbles images, by using gray level co-occurrence matrix (GLCM) and support vector machine (SVM) classification. A conformity was established between the classified-algorithm models and the corrosion test results obtained by potentiodynamic polarization test and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Hydrogen rate and corrosion rate show the same lowest trends at the addition of 3000 mg/L of KH extract. The inhibitor addition led to 99% of maximum inhibition efficiency. Based on the polarization data, KH extract is a mixed type inhibitor. Supported by Langmuir calculation for adsorption isotherm, a physisorption is stated as the main inhibition mechanism. The feature extraction using GLCM was able to distinguish changes in H 2 bubbles characteristics where the addition of inhibitor affected the corrosion rate. The GLCM/SVM method applied as a linear kernel function and showed 88% accuracy with d = 5 for image data testing. Remarkable changes in H 2 gas bubbles characteristic were observed in the specimen immersed in the solution with 3000 mg/L inhibitor addition, signified by 99% inhibition efficiency. • Combined electrochemical and in-situ H 2 quantification enhances inhibitor-efficiency analysis. • 88% accuracy was obtained by using SVM linear kernel function with GLCM parameter d = 5. • 3000 mg/L of Kleinhovia hospita extract gives optimum inhibition for on carbon steel in 1 M HCl. • Physisorption is the main inhibition mechanism of Kleinhovia hospita extract inhibitor.
