Recently, organic–inorganic perovskites have manifested great capacity to enhance the performance of photovoltaic systems, owing to their impressive optical and electronic properties. In this simulation survey, we employed the Solar Cell Capacitance Simulator (SCAPS-1D) to numerically analyze the effect of different hole transport layers (HTLs) (Spiro, CIS, and CsSnI3) and perovskite active layers (ALs) (FAPbI3, MAPbI3, and CsPbI3) on the solar cells’ performance with an assumed configuration of FTO/SnO2/AL/HTL/Au. The influence of layer thickness, doping density, and defect density was studied. Then, we trained a machine learning (ML) model to perform predictions on the performance metrics of the solar cells. According to the SCAPS results, CsSnI3 (as HTL) with a thickness of 220 nm, a defect density of 5 × 1017 cm−3, and a doping density of 5 × 1019 cm−3 yielded the highest power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 23.90%. In addition, a 530 nm-FAPbI3 AL with a bandgap energy of 1.51 eV and a defect density of 1014 cm−3 was more favorable than MAPbI3 (1.55 eV) and CsPbI3 (1.73 eV) to attain a PCE of >24%. ML predicted the performance matrices of the investigated solar cells with ~75% accuracy. Therefore, the FTO/SnO2/FAPbI3/CsSnI3/Au structure would be suitable for experimental studies to fabricate high-performance photovoltaic devices.

Background: The effect of new teaching method on study skill of students results in a significant improvement in learning performances. The aim of study was to determine the effect of Team-Based Learning on study habits of nursing students. Methods: The quasi-experimental study with a before-and-after design was conducted on nursing students of Golestan University of Medical Sciences in 2015. 101 students participated in this study through census sampling considering the inclusion criteria. The data was collected using Palsane and Sharma Study Habits Inventory (PSSHI) before and after intervention. The intervention was 16 sessions (a two-hour session per week) Team-based learning. The data was analyzed in SPSS-20 software using paired t-test. Results: Finding showed that most of the students were female (60.3%), and single (95%) with mean age of 21.47±1.5 years. When students were stratified into four groups based on the quartiles of the distribution of study habit, the number of students who had poor study habit decrease after intervention (%5.6) and the number of students with excellent study habit increase after intervention (%3.8). Background: During root canal treatment procedures, unexpected accidents may be confronted affecting long-term prognosis just as in any other dental treatment. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the knowledge of dental students of accidents and errors during endodontic treatment in Medical University of Babol. Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 52 senior dental students were examined. Required information was collected with a questionnaire with 20 questions relating causes, prevention, treatment and prognosis of accidents during endodontic treatment. Data was analyzed using descriptive parameters, chi-square test and T-test by the statistical software SPSS Ver.21. Results: The students' knowledge was moderate in all of the fields studied including causes, prevention, treatment and prognosis of accident during endodontic treatment. Their knowledge of the causes of accidents during endodontic treatment was the lowest level and their awareness of the required endodontic treatment was the highest. There were no significant differences (P>0.05) in the average knowledge of students in the four areas of causes, prognosis, prevention and treatment of accidents of endodontic treatment. Background: Hydatid disease is one of the major world-wide health problems especially in endemic countries. Due to lack of statistics about this disease, various aspects of hydatidosis in children in North-West of Iran have been studied in this study. Materials and Methods: We studied 59 children with hydatidosis referring Tabriz Children Hospital, Tabriz, Iran from 2001 up to 2011. We surveyed chief complaint of patients, number, size and location of cysts in children and also we studied cysts as if they are infected or ruptured or not. Results: Average age of 59 patients (32 [54.2%] males and 27 [45.8%] females) was 7.93 ± 3.0. The most common chief complaints were cough and pain. Number of cysts was higher in females (2.00 ± 2.8 vs. 1.52 ± 1.0). The most common locations of cysts are lung and liver (52 patients); however, other organs had been also affected. Conclusions: Lung hydatidosis is more common than hepatic hydatidosis in children than adults and it is more frequent in males. Hydatid disease should be considered in differential diagnoses of liver and lung cystic lesions in children.
