Background: Periventricular nodular heterotopia (PVNH) is a neuronal migration disorder caused by the inability of neurons to move to the cortex. Patients with PVNH often experience epilepsy due to ectopic neuronal discharges. Most cases of PVNH are associated with variations in filamin A (FLNA), which encodes an actin-binding protein. However, the underlying pathological mechanisms remain unclear. Methods: Next-generation sequencing was performed to detect variants in the patient with PVNH, and the findings were confirmed using Sanger sequencing. Iterative threading assembly refinement was used to predict the structures of the variant proteins, and the search tool for the retrieval of interacting genes/proteins database was used to determine the interactions between FLNA and motility-related proteins. An induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) line was generated as a disease model by reprogramming human peripheral blood mononuclear cells. The FLNA expression in iPSCs was assessed using western blot and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). Immunofluorescence analysis was performed to determine the arrangement of F-actin. Results: A novel FLNA frameshift variant (NM_001456.3: c.1466delG, p. G489Afs*9) was identified in a patient with PVNH and epilepsy. Bioinformatic analysis indicated that this variation was likely to impair FLNA function. Western blot and qRT-PCR analysis of iPSCs derived from the patient's peripheral blood mononuclear cells revealed the absence of FLNA protein and mRNA. Immunofluorescence analysis suggested an irregular arrangement and disorganization of F-actin compared to that observed in healthy donors. Conclusion: Our findings indicate that the frameshift variant of FLNA (NM_001456.3: c.1466delG, p. In order to reduce pesticide application, develop green pest prevention and control technology, and ensure the quality and safety of agricultural products, a green pest prevention and control system was designed which composed of multi-functional plant protection machine and information management system, for facility vegetables based on the internet of things (IoT) technology, and combined with ozone sterilization and disease prevention, light source induced pest control, crop health identification, pest identification and early warning and other technologies. The results showed that under the green control system, the incidence rate of strawberry powdery mildew decreased by 27.7%, and the average yield of strawberry increased by 19.8% compared with the conventional application method, which had significant effect on powdery mildew control and potential of strawberry yield increase. Meanwhile, the functions of system early warning service, various disinfection and sterilization methods, remote control and intelligent trusteeship had effectively alleviated the problems of backward plant protection technology and equipment, excessive dependence on pesticide use, structural shortage of labor force, and maintenance and operation difficulties in China. Six novel lanthanide complexes ([Nd2(L)(H2O)6]n·4.58n(H2O) (1), [Ln(H3L)(H2O)]n·0.5n(H2O), Ln = Sm (2), Eu (3), Gd (4), Tb (5), Eu0.18Gd0.62Tb0.20 (6)) have been hydrothermally synthesized based on the ligand 4,5-di(3,5-dicarboxylphenoxy)phthalic acid (H6L). Single crystal X-ray diffraction reveals that complexes 1–6 are 2D structures, where 2–6 are isomorphic. Complexes 3 and 5 exhibit the characteristic fluorescence of Eu(III) and Tb(III) ions respectively, while complex 4 shows blue-green light emission based on the ligand. In particular, the ternary Eu/Gd/Tb complex 6 shows white light emission with a CIE (Commission International del'Eclairage) chromaticity coordinate of (0.330, 0.339) and hence close to pure white light emission. Moreover, complexes 3 and 5 display specific fluorescence-enhanced detection performance for Pb2+ ions: The interaction between Pb2+ ions and the ligand enhances the charge transfer efficiency between the ligand and the Eu(III) and Tb(III) ions and thus leads to fluorescence enhancement of complexes 3 and 5. More importantly, complex 3 exhibits the lowest detection limit of 4.72 nM for Pb2+ ions among the existing complex fluorescent probes. Herein, we report a novel 1/GO/Fe3O4 photocatalyst, comprising Ce(BTB)(H2O) (MOF-1, H3BTB = 1,3,5-benzenetrisbenzoic acid), graphene oxide (GO), and iron oxide (Fe3O4) for photocatalytic degradation of chlortetracycline (CTC). This design enables the effective transfer of electrons from the MOF to GO, thereby reducing the photoelectron–hole recombination rate. Therefore, the optimized 1/GO/Fe3O4 photocatalyst with H2O2 shows the highest photocatalytic activity toward CTC. The kinetic constant is 5.4 times that in the system of MOF-1 and hydrogen peroxide, which usually acted as efficient electron acceptors to improve the photocatalytic performance of MOFs. More importantly, light absorption is extended from the ultraviolet to the visible region. Furthermore, 1/GO/Fe3O4 can be quickly recycled under an applied magnetic field and displays outstanding stability and reusability. According to the radical trapping experiments and electron paramagnetic resonance results, hydroxyl radicals, superoxide radicals, and holes all contribute to excellent photocatalytic activity. The possible catalytic mechanism of 1/GO/Fe3O4 is tentatively proposed. To protect ecosystem balance and human health, the development of fluorescent sensing materials with high sensitivity and portability has attracted wide attention in several decades. Herein, six lanthanide isostructural complexes {[Ln(μ6-Hcaa)(H2O)]Cl}n (H3caa = N-(4-carboxylbenzyl)- L -aspartic acid, Ln3+ = Ce3+ (1), Pr3+ (2), Nd3+ (3), Sm3+ (4), Eu3+ (5), and Tb3+ (6)) with optical properties based on aspartic acid derivative (H3caa) were synthesized by the solvothermal method and characterized in detail. It is worth noting that complex 6 can not only specifically recognize Cr(VI) with very low detection limits (LODs) of 3.66 nM (Cr2O72−) & 5.35 nM (CrO42−) but also selectively recognize TCs with LODs of 0.24 μM (CTC = chlortetracycline) and 0.25 μM (TC = tetracycline) based on the method of fluorescence detection. In addition, the identification of Cr(VI) and TCs by visual colorimetry may be realized through the combination of a smartphone and portable test strips. This study suggests that complex 6 is a good optical material for detecting heavy metals and antibiotic contaminants in aqueous systems and broadens the development of amino acid derivatives. Aortic aneurysm (AA), a potentially lethal condition with the characteristic of aortic dilatation, can only be treated by surgical or endovascular procedures. The underlying mechanisms of AA are unclear and early preventive treatment is still insufficient due to segmental aortic heterogeneity and the limitations of current disease models. Here, we firstly established a comprehensive lineage-specific vascular smooth muscle cell (SMC)-on-a-chip model using human induced pluripotent stem cells to yield cell lineages representing different segments of the aorta and tested the constructed organ-on-a-chip model under various tensile stress conditions. Bulk RNA sequencing, RT-qPCR, immunofluorescence, western blot and FACS analyses were performed to discover the segmental aortic heterogeneity of response for tensile stress and drug testing. The appropriate stretching frequency for all lineages of SMCs was 1.0 Hz, paraxial mesoderm (PM) SMCs were more sensitive to tensile stress than lateral mesoderm (LM) SMCs and neural crest (NC) SMCs. These differences may be related to the different transcriptional profiles of the tension-stressed distinct lineage-specific vascular SMCs, specifically in relation to the PI3K-Akt signaling pathway. Also, the organ-on-a-chip displayed contractile physiology, perfect fluid coordination, and was conducive to drug testing, displaying heterogeneous segmental aortic responses. Compared with LM-SMCs and NC-SMCs, PM-SMCs were more sensitive to ciprofloxacin. The model is evaluated as a novel and suitable supplement to AA animal models for determining differential physiology and drug response in different parts of the aorta. Graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) is an organic semiconductor for photocatalysis. However, it still suffers from low surface area and rapid e–/h+ recombination, which limits its further activity enhancement. In this work, an atomically precise alkynyl- and phosphine-protected Ag33(4-MePhCC)22(Dppp)4 nanocluster is synthesized. It is facilely loaded onto g-C3N4 nanosheets by a one-step process. The resulting Ag33/g-C3N4 nanocomposite is thoroughly characterized. Its activity is evaluated in the photodegradation of methyl orange. Ag33/g-C3N4 has shown a 16-fold activity enhancement compared to pristine g-C3N4. The mechanism investigation using UV–vis/diffuse-reflectance spectroscopy spectra, photocurrent response, and Nyquist plots has revealed the origin of this superior performance. Five novel isostructural two-dimensional lanthanide complexes [Ln2(μ3-L)2(μ4-L)(H2O)3]n·nH2O, (Ln = Eu (1), Gd (2), Tb (3), Dy (4), Ho (5); H2L = 5-(pyridin-3-yloxy)isophthalic acid) have been hydrothermally synthesized. They are characterized by IR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and thermogravimetric analyses. Complexes 1–5 crystallize in the monoclinic space group P21/c and display a 2D layered structure. They have good thermal stability, and the skeleton structure can be maintained up to 500 °C. The solid-state fluorescence of complexes 1 and 3 shows the strong characteristic red luminescence of Eu(III) and the green luminescence of Tb(III) respectively, and they exhibit a fluorescence quenching effect on addition of acetone in aqueous solution. The detection limits are 3.59 × 10−4 M and 2.08 × 10−6 M, respectively. Moreover, complex 3 also exhibits fluorescence quenching effects on Fe3+ and CrO2− in aqueous solution with detection limits of 4.81 × 10−8 M and 4.06 × 10−8 M, respectively, which are lower than those of most reported complexes. Two series of seven lanthanide metal coordination polymers (Ln–CPs) formulated as {[Ln(dttpa)1.5(H2O)2]·H2O}n [Ln = La3+ (1), Ce3+ (2), Nd3+ (3), Sm3+ (4) and Eu3+ (5)] and {[Ln (dttpa)1.5(H2O)]·xH2O}n [Ln = Tb3+ (6) and Er3+ (7), x = 0.75] have been successfully constructed using Ln3+ ions and 2,5-di(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)terephthalic acid (H2dttpa) via a hydrothermal method. Their 3D structures are fully characterised by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, X-ray single-crystal analyses, powder diffraction analyses (PXRD), elemental analyses (EAs) and thermogravimetric analyses (TGAs). All Ln–CPs display the same topological property with the point symbol of {42·84}{44·62}2{49·66}2, and crystallize in the triclinic space group P1¯. Interestingly, Eu–CP (5) effectively sensitizes the visible emission of Tb3+ and shows high selectivity and stable response with the lowest detection limit of 9.88 nM. Furthermore, Tb–CP (6) acts as a good luminescence sensor to detect nitrobenzene (NB) with a detection limit of 12.5 nM. Herein, an atomically dispersed palladium catalyst on a hierarchical porous structure of N-doped carbon (Pd1/N–C) is prepared using a facile freeze-drying-assisted strategy. Freeze-drying methods not only suppress the aggregation of Pd atoms but also successfully produce abundant nanopores. HAADF-STEM confirms that Pd single atoms are uniformly anchored on the N–C surface. The Pd1/N–C electrocatalyst enhances the ORR and OER activity and durability compared to N–C and Pd–NPs/N–C. Rechargeable Zn–air batteries (ZABs) based on novel Pd1/N–C exhibit a peak power density of 113.7 mW cm−2 and maintain a voltage efficiency of 64.0% after 495 cycles at a discharge current density of 5 mA cm−2. Background. Although more pathologic stage-I lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) was diagnosed recently, some relapsed or distantly metastasized shortly after radical resection. The study aimed to identify biomarkers predicting prognosis in the pathologic stage-I LUAD and improve the understanding of the mechanisms involved in tumorigenesis. Methods. We obtained the expression profiling data for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients from the NCBI-GEO database. Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between early-stage NSCLC and normal lung tissue were determined. After function enrichment analyses on DEGs, the protein-protein interaction (PPI) network was built and analyzed with the Search Tool for the Retrieval of Interacting Genes (STRING) and Cytoscape. Overall survival (OS) and mRNA levels of genes were performed with Kaplan–Meier analysis and Gene Expression Profiling Interactive Analysis (GEPIA). qPCR and western blot analysis of hub genes in stage-I LUAD patients validated the significant genes with poor prognosis. Results. A total of 172 DEGs were identified, which were mainly enriched in terms related to management of extracellular matrix (ECM), receptor signaling pathway, cell adhesion, activity of endopeptidase, and receptor. The PPI network identified 11 upregulated hub genes that were significantly associated with OS in NSCLC and highly expressed in NSCLC tissues compared with normal tissues by GEPIA. Elevated expression of ANLN, EXO1, KIAA0101, RRM2, TOP2A, and UBE2T were identified as potential risk factors in pathologic stage-I LUAD. Except for ANLN and KIAA0101, the hub genes mRNA levels were higher in tumors compared with adjacent non-cancerous samples in the qPCR analysis. The hub genes protein levels were also overexpressed in tumors. In vitro experiments showed that knockdown of UBE2T in LUAD cell lines could inhibit cell proliferation and cycle progression. The new copper(II) complex dichloridobis(4‐{[3‐(pyridin‐2‐yl‐κN)‐1H‐pyrazol‐1‐yl‐κN2]methyl}benzoic acid)copper(II) methanol sesquisolvate hemihydrate, [CuCl2L2]·1.5CH3OH·0.5H2O, (1), has been synthesized from CuCl2·2H2O and the ligand 4‐{[3‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐1H‐pyrazol‐1‐yl]methyl}benzoic acid (L, C15H11N3O2). The complex was characterized by elemental analysis, Fourier transform IR spectroscopy, electrospray ionization mass spectrometry and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Two chloride ligands and two bidentate L ligands coordinate the CuII centre in 1 in a Jahn–Teller‐distorted octahedral geometry of rather unusual configuration: a chloride substituent and a pyrazole N atom of an N,N′‐chelating ligand occupy the more distant axial positions. Classical O—H...O hydrogen bonds and O—H...Cl interactions link neighbouring complex molecules and cocrystallized methanol molecules into chains that propagate parallel to the b direction. The title compound shows intriguing bioactivity: the effects of 1 on the enzymatic activity of protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTP1B) and on the viability of human breast cancer cells of cell line MCF7 were evaluated. Complex 1, with an IC50 value of 0.51 µM, can efficiently inhibit PTP1B activity. An enzyme kinetic assay suggests that 1 inhibits PTP1B in a noncompetitive manner. A fluorescence titration assay indicates that 1 has a strong affinity for PTP1B, with a binding constant of 4.39 × 106M−1. Complex 1 may also effectively decrease the viability of MCF7 cells in an extent comparable to that of cisplatin (IC50 = 6.3 µM).
