O artigo tem como objetivo investigar como três escolas do interior do Ceará, que atendem alunos das localidades rurais, têm estimulado o desenvolvimento da cidadania e do protagonismo estudantil. A pesquisa tem como fundamentos teórico-metodológicos o paradigma interpretativo, a abordagem qualitativa, do tipo exploratória quanto ao objetivo e aplicada quanto à natureza. O método foi o estudo de casos múltiplos, com uso de entrevistas semiestruturadas com gestores, professores e alunos. Realizou-se também pesquisa bibliográfica para diálogo com os achados de campo. Os resultados obtidos foram trabalhados a partir da análise de conteúdo e constatou-se que embora as condições de acesso à educação estejam asseguradas, as condições de atendimento dos alunos são permeadas por dificuldades diversas, desde a infraestrutura física dos prédios, transporte escolar, professores e que as condições de contexto externo associadas às limitações sociais e econômicas tolhem a capacidade de escolha da trajetória escolar dos jovens. Observou-se que as escolas fomentam uma série de ações no sentido de mobilizar os alunos e proporcionar espaços que favoreçam posturas protagonistas por parte deles, estimulando o exercício da cidadania e do protagonismo juvenil. No entanto, as situações constatadas nas três escolas que atendem a população rural, evidenciam que o poder público, apesar do esforço, não tem conseguindo assegurar a redução das desigualdades e o cumprimento dos preceitos constitucionais na garantia do direito à educação de qualidade.

O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar a saúde dos docentes de escolas rurais do Território de Identidade do Piemonte da Diamantina-Bahia, considerando as transformações oriundas das recentes reformas educacionais, as políticas de globalização e as condições de trabalho. Do ponto de vista metodológico, configurou-se como uma pesquisa quantitativa, através de Survey aplicando um questionário a 268 docentes que atuam em escolas rurais em nove municípios que constituem o Território mencionado. Realizou-se a coleta em 48 estabelecimentos de ensino rurais, distribuídos em 36 comunidades. A técnica de análise dos dados configura-se como análise estatística e descritiva, através da utilização do software SPSS versão 28. Os principais resultados apontam que as condições de trabalho vivenciadas pelos professores estão permeadas de processos de intensificação e autointensificação, com o aumento de novas funções e responsabilidades; acarretando ambientes precários favorecendo o adoecimento dos profissionais, especialmente por problemas de voz, muscoesqueléticos e saúde mental. Esse adoecimento tem contribuído para aumentar as taxas de afastamento das atividades, contudo há um número significativo de docentes que continuam trabalhando adoecidos.

The aim of this paper is to analyze educational indicators in the state of Paraíba related to Special Education in the countryside. The analysis was based on data from Basic Education School Census of the 2021, in relation to the distribution of enrollments of students who are the target audience of Special Education in the 14 Regional Education Managements by condition and administrative dependence, the accessibility of schools and the formation of teachers. Data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively, using descriptive statistics. The results showed that there is a lack of trained teachers, services and resources of the Special Education modality and accessibility conditions in schools in the countryside. The present research starts by considering state educational establishments and their school architectures as spaces where part of the territorial construction carried out by the States is enabled. At the same time, they are spaces around which a multiplicity of territorialities are being developed as they are located in cities or in clustered or dispersed rural areas, therefore interacting with different social groups. This article seeks to identify how the space of the state school collaborates in the production of territoriality in contexts of indigenous-peasant communities located in mountain areas representing a very difficult access in the province of Tucumán, Argentina. At the same time, it is interesting to visualize the nuances that are generated in the interaction between the territorialities of the indigenous-peasant communities and the school institutions in these particular contexts. The starting point for this study was the identification and analysis of 14 rural schools located in the Cumbres Calchaquíes and Sierras de Quilmes mountain ranges, areas inhabited mainly by indigenous-peasant communities. Among the main results, it is proposed that in these specific contexts, the state territoriality sought by educational establishments and school practices is challenged and modified by local practices. Este artigo trata da investigação de práticas pedagógicas: aproximações entre escolas do campo no Brasil e escolas do campo na Catalunha/Espanha. Procurou compreender a articulação das práticas pedagógicas e da formação de professores como elementos constitutivos das políticas públicas no meio rural. O estudo foi realizado em instituições de ensino superior, a saber, a Universidade de Brasília (UnB), a Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG) e a Universidade de Barcelona (UB). Para seu desenvolvimento, a discussão partiu das práticas pedagógicas e de formação de professores nesses países para a constituição de políticas e sobre o papel dos movimentos educacionais. O que se pode inferir é que existem alguns pontos de aproximação com a formação de políticas públicas, seja para as escolas do campo na Catalunha, seja na formação de políticas públicas de formação de professores no Brasil. Também é possível identificar as contribuições das experiências e ações que contribuem para a formação de professores e a consolidação das escolas do campo/campo. Contribuições que dialogam com a organização escolar, com a construção de projetos pedagógicos e sobre as práticas de formação inicial e continuada dos professores que atuam nessas escolas.

A pesquisa objetivou compreender a relação entre políticas de correção de fluxo e a Teoria do Capital Humano a partir da distorção idade-série na região norte do Brasil. Entre as indagações destaca-se: quais os contextos da distorção idade-série na Amazônia rondoniense? Em termos metodológico, utilizou-se pesquisa bibliográfica e documentos oficiais e estatísticos do Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio (Inep), Sistema de Avaliação da Educação Básica (Saeb) e Índice de Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica (Ideb). Identificou-se potencial influência entre a Teoria do Capital Humano de Theodore Schultz (1966) e as políticas educacionais de correção de fluxo implementadas no Brasil desde a década de 1970 na Amazônia rondoniense.

This work re-examines field material previously analyzed within the framework of research on rural teachers and spraying with agrochemicals. This new analysis seeks to broaden the conclusion that had been reached in the first instance, according to which social silence predominated around the problem of fumigations in rural educational institutions of the humid pampas. The new analysis, which focuses on rather marginal elements of these field materials, allows us to maintain that it is possible to document both social silence and the meanings and teaching practices that are the object of silencing. These meanings and practices are understood as subjects' daily resistances to the theme: these resistances condense a critical politicity around the environment that unfolds in rural contexts and take on particular forms. The research has a qualitative approach, aimed to analyze factors that caused a significant number of school closures located in rural areas in the Amazon region, North of Brazil, state of Rondônia, in the period from 2000 to 2020. Does schools for rural children and youth in the state of Rondônia, from the beginning of the 21st century, correspond to the realization of agribusiness purposes? Among the sources used were bibliographic materials, media news and documents - Statistical Synopsis of Basic Education, Agricultural Censuses, data from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and laws. The closing of schools in rural areas is an event marked by different interests, either by the absence of public educational policies for the peasants, or by the joining of schools in nucleation projects. As helmintíases são doenças parasitárias que causam prejuízos à saúde coletiva, afetando principalmente populações mais desfavorecidas. Por isso, o objetivo do estudo foi analisar o conhecimento acerca das helmintíases de docentes (n=77) de escolas de áreas rurais/florestais de munícipios do Acre (Sena Madureira e Xapuri), em uma abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa. Observou-se que os professores possuem um bom conhecimento a respeito da profilaxia, mas foram verificados equívocos e lacunas com relação às formas de transmissão e aos agentes etiológicos. A educação em saúde exerce um papel fundamental na prevenção de doenças helmínticas e por isso, profissionais da educação básica, principalmente de ambientes rurais/florestais de difícil acesso, necessitam de treinamento e formação continuada para atuarem como agentes promotores de saúde.

The struggle for land is carried out by several fronts. The Education for and by the countryside is one of those that resulted in several legal frameworks that define some specificities of it in defense of the rural population. Among these milestones, we highlight the National Textbook Program of Countryside (NTPC), which allowed the rural schools to access appropriate textbooks of their own ways of living and working. This article aims to analyse the geography content included in the material of the elementary school (2016), seeking to point if the contents are adequate to the proposal of construction of the Rural Education. The analysys of the policy that results in the textbooks guides on Ball and Bowe Policy Cycle, and the analysis of the textbook content at critical geography perspective. The research was based on bibliographic reviews, laws and analysis of the contents of the books that compose the didatic collection adopted in municipality of Alfenas-MG. The research diagnosed that the geography content from the National Textbook Program of Countryside (NTCP) attends the Rural Education proposal, thus evidencing the potentiality of this policy and also indicating possible adaptations of the contents in order to strengthen the proposal and endorse that the geography contents can fundamentally contribute for the emancipacion of the individuals. Este artigo, fruto de um recorte de dissertação de mestrado defendida em 2019, tem como objetivo investigar como os educandos das escolas do campo compreendem as tecnologias digitais de informação e comunicação no espaço escolar, de forma que a tecnologia aproxima a prática educativa e os contextos do campo. Para tanto, esta pesquisa é um estudo de caso, em que se aplicou questionários para educandos de nove escolas do campo do Ensino Fundamental e Médio da 8ª Coordenadoria Regional de Educação, identificando e categorizando o uso das tecnologias, bem como analisando a concepção e a compreensão dos educandos em relação à existência e à utilização das tecnologias digitais. Notou-se que os educandos têm consciência do quanto são importantes as tecnologias aliadas ao ensino e à aprendizagem. Entretanto há vários fatores que comprometem os avanços das tecnologias nessas escolas do campo, como: sinal da internet fraco ou inexistente, computadores sucateados e com falta de manutenção, educadores despreparados e ausência de ambiente adequado. Esses são alguns percalços no caminho da democratização das tecnologias digitais no contexto escolar, principalmente nas escolas do campo, escopo desta pesquisa.

Este texto analisa a percepção de diretores, professores e funcionários em relação aos impactos dos agrotóxicos sobre escolas rurais no Estado do Mato Grosso. A metodologia consistiu na aplicação de um questionário quantitativo. Foram realizadas 48 entrevistas com diretores, professores e funcionários de 40 escolas rurais situadas em 34 municípios de diferentes regiões do Estado do Mato Grosso, o que representa aproximadamente 30% do total. Os resultados da pesquisa revelam que a maior parte dos entrevistados apontou para algum tipo de impacto associado ao uso de agrotóxicos no entorno das escolas, seja de forma direta sobre as pessoas ou através da identificação de odores. Além disso, o tema tem sido frequentemente trabalhado em atividades pedagógicas realizadas nas escolas.

Em Cuba há um vazio historiográfico no que diz respeito às escolas rurais em Havana de 1936 a 1952, se caracterizando como problema de pesquisa a manifestação do condições materiais e humanas dessas escolas na resolução de problemas educacionais da educação cubana durante esses anos. Nesta pesquisa científica é apresentado como objetivo principal caracterizar as condições materiais e psicológicas em que os professores desenvolvem as suas aulas. Foram utilizados métodos de nível teórico e empírico, respectivamente, tais como: histórico e lógico, analítico-sintético, indutivo-dedutivo e estudo documental. Entre os principais resultados foi constatado que os currículos e programas de escolas rurais em Havana apresentam soluções para alguns problemas educacionais existentes no ensino ofertado por essas instituições; no entanto, vários dos regulamentos que essas escolas implantaram não foram capazes de materializar todo a amplitude do ensino devido à negligência dos governos republicanos, embora as suas contribuições para a pedagogia e didática tenham sido significativas.

Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar algumas reflexões sobre a história da educação efetivada no meio rural brasileiro, priorizando diferenciar o paradigma da educação rural do paradigma da educação do campo; mapear a produção acadêmica que trata da temática investigada e, por fim, empreender um olhar sobre o cenário da investigação: o município de Ituiutaba-MG, Brasil. Quanto à metodologia recorreu-se a uma revisão bibliográfica abordando a educação rural e educação do campo, pesquisa inspirada no Estado da Arte, levantamento e análise documental realizados na Secretaria Municipal de Educação de Ituiutaba-MG, Brasil. Concluiu-se que a educação que se efetiva nas escolas localizadas no meio rural daquela cidade mantém as características do paradigma da Educação Rural.

Vivemos numa época de mudanças na política, economia, ciência e tecnologia, o que tem gerado profundas transformações no modo de viver na sociedade. No entanto, o passado de abandono e isolamento no que tange a investimentos, infraestrutura e valorização ainda é latente em muitas escolas do espaço rural, o que demanda um olhar mais atento e crítico e a ampliação de pesquisas sobre essa questão. Assim, o presente estudo tem como objetivo mapear a realidade das escolas rurais das regionais de ensino de Arraias e Dianópolis localizadas no Sudeste do Tocantins, analisando sua atual situação. Para tanto, fez-se uso da pesquisa documental com uma abordagem predominantemente qualitativa para o trato e coleta de dados e informações disponíveis no acervo do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE), Secretaria de Estado da Educação do Tocantins (SEDUC) e Ministério da Educação e Cultura (MEC). Além desses documentos, alguns autores embasaram nossas discussões sobre Educação do Campo: Arroyo, Caldart e Molina (2004), Caldart (2012), Kolling, Nery e Molina (1999), Nunes (2016), entre outros. Os resultados apontaram que ainda são frágeis as condições de atendimento educacional às populações que vivem no e do campo nas regionais estudadas, mesmo ante a ampliação das políticas públicas voltadas ao atendimento dos campesinos.

The decrease of the water available for human consumption is directly related to the unregulated and unconscious action from the man himself. In rural areas, this depreciation is related to inappropriate conditions of artesian wells that capture the water (old wells and poorly sealed) and which are usually close to sources of pollution, such as septic tanks and animal grazing. In this context, the objective of the present work was to evaluate the physico-chemical and microbiological quality of underground water samples made available for consumption in three schools in the field next to the municipality of Uberlândia-MG. Methodologically, the data were statistically processed by means of descriptive and multivariate analysis (Pearson correlation coefficient). All schools are supplied by an artesian well, being carried out simplified treatment (chlorination mechanism of chemical treatment). In only one of the schools was identified the presence of a septic tank sewage collection system. Of samples evaluated, all were at odds with the standards laid down in annex XX of the Consolidation Ordinance No. 5 of the Ministry of health (old law 2,914/2011) in at least one of the parameters evaluated. Therefore, the results reflect the possibility of biological contamination of the water by grazing areas located in the region close to the wells, as well as the need for emerging measures, such as regular cleaning and maintenance of storage systems and distribution of the water consumed in the institutions. Este artigo discute o trabalho de professores de uma escola pertencente a um assentamento do Maranhão, a partir do trabalho “os estabelecidos e os outsiders” de Elias e Scotson. Este artigo, deste modo, encontra-se no âmbito de uma releitura da dissertação de mestrado, apresentada em 2010, tomando como base, conceitos como agente, sentido, estrutura e história discutidos pelos autores supracitados. A dissertação elegeu como questão principal, as implicações da ação política do Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra (MST) para a prática pedagógica dos professores de um assentamento no Maranhão. Atentamos para as seguintes questões: quem são as (os) professoras (es) que atuam nas escolas deste assentamento? As atividades e formações desenvolvidas pelo MST apresentam contribuições para a prática pedagógica destes professores? De que forma a participação e a militância no MST interfere na prática pedagógica das (os) professoras (es) do referido Assentamento? Qual a dimensão política da escola neste lugar? Utilizamos, deste modo, as contribuições da etnometodologia e dos seguintes dispositivos de pesquisa: entrevistas semi-estruturadas, questionário perfil e observação participante. Fundamentamos, portanto, este trabalho nos estudos de Beltrame (2000), Bezerra Neto (1999), Brandão (1983), Caldart (2004), Damasceno (1990), Elias (1994, 2000, 2001, 2006, 2008 e 2011), Fernandes (2000), Freire (1996).

Manaus, Amazonas State Capital is considered the third Brazilian largest teaching network, counting dozens of distributed rural schools for its territory which is divided into rivers, bayous, highways, roads and others several branches. In function of the school's territory dispersion, to plan displacement in educational advisory activities would require cartographic knowledge of educators. However, these actions could be easier using geovisualization, which would justify the development of a public school localization platform. To reach this goal, the Manaus rural schools were georeferenced and stored in a spatial database, their attributes analyzed and associated with others known integrated cartographic data vectors in a Web environment. The platform, implanted in two educational departments and in the collaborative mapping nucleus of Manaus Education Secretary, receives two new users every day, allowing them to locate schools, establish routes and print maps, getting easier the daily activities planning by using a friendly internet platform. In this way, the platform contributes to enhancing the geographical representations, their different scales and location concepts understanding, such as construct a spatial thinking for their users. Este artigo objetivou reconstruir a história da formação e profissão de professores de escolas rurais, no município de Dourados e região, no período de 1988 a 1996. Resultante do levantamento documental foi possível catalogar, organizar e digitalizar as fontes encontradas nos arquivos escolares de instituições rurais e acervos pessoais de professores. A delimitação temporal justifica-se, por sinalizar um período momentos importantes tanto da história das escolas rurais no município de Dourados e região, quanto da política educacional brasileira. Este trabalho baseia-se na pesquisa documental e bibliográfica, com um referencial teórico voltado para a História, História da Educação, entre outros. Os resultados permitiram traçar um panorama da história da formação e da profissão de professores de escolas rurais, no município de Dourados e região, no período estudado, por meio da documentação levantada. Além disso, possibilitaram a organização de um DVD, como resultado da pesquisa. Palavras-chave: Escolas rurais. Formação de Professor. Profissão Docente.

Nas décadas de 1930 e 1940 o sistema escolar paulista se consolidou em nova organização institucional em todo o Estado. Administradores escolares, os delegados regionais do ensino, organizaram em novo patamar a educação primária neste período. No espaço urbano, os grupos escolares eram o modelo a ser seguido. Contudo, como se encontravam as escolas rurais? Apresenta-se neste trabalho a visão destes delegados de ensino sobre a situação da educação ruralem São Pauloneste período. O texto aborda o conflito entre a realidade cotidiana do sistema escolar possível e o ideal almejado para a educação rural no Estado de São Paulo. Rural schools have been promoting local development of the territory by be embedded and be part of the same. The objective of the present work is through workshops, capture the social imaginary of the students of its horticultural territory. The workshops were to practice in rural schools through the co-production, reflection workshops on cultural diversity, social and productive practices in the rural environment. The black Brazilian population long remained invisible to laws and guidelines of the right to education. This situation changes after a few national and international movements for equality of access to school space and the appreciation of diversity in this place. These movements in Brazil influence a process of social inclusion and visibility of the black population, ensuring by a law, access to school education and recognition of the black population in the history from this country. However, observing the national rates of illiteracy, this is higher among black people living in rural areas. This situation reveals that is need look more into this space, for the education of the black populations remnants of quilombo communities that living in rural areas. Therefore, this article seeks to do this and offer some reflections on school education and school inclusion of children and adolescents afro-descendents in rural. Furthermore, based on literature research, here are also presented some notes regarding the consideration and approach to culture of the black people, the black in the formation of the national society, rescuing the contribution of black people quilombola in the part social, economic and political from the history of Brazil. Thus, it is believed necessary to attend the execution of the provisions on the legal parameters on the education of black people remaining of quilombos, who live in rural areas, since this is very important for guarantee of academic success and permanence for this population in the school space.

The following article of masters degree dissertation in linked to the line of research of Education and Arts of the program of post graduation in education from the Federal University of Santa Maria/RS. It has as objectives investigate how the teachers realize the visual culture in the universe of Dilermando`s de Aguiar/RS primary municipal public school. The methodology is characterized by on qualitative approach, whose method was the Study of the Case. The data were collected by semi-structured interviews and narrative by the images, beyond the diary. The theoretical referential was constructed by reflections and discussions, in contact with the thoughts of the authors as EFLAND; FREEDMAN e STUHR (2003); FREEDMAN (2006); HERNNDEZ (2000; 2006; 2007); MIRZOEFF (2003); BREA (2005); MARTINS (2008) e DIAS (2008), which broach about the importance of discussion of visual and cultures in curriculums, the contemplation of this relation in the teaching plannings, and finally, eventually the relevance of the images and the interpretations of the visual representations.

Este texto fundamenta-se nos pressupostos da História Cultural para discutir o emprego da fotografia como fonte para os estudos e pesquisas em História da Educação. Apresenta inicialmente uma discussão teórico-conceitual relativa à questão das fontes iconográficas e, em seguida, analisa, por meio das fotografias pertencentes ao acervo fotográfico que compõe a Coleção Professor Jerônimo Arantes, as representações construídas dos estabelecimentos de ensino situados na zona rural de Uberlândia durante os anos de 1933 a 1959. A pesquisa contempla a caracterização, origem e finalidade das fotografias, as representações dos alunos, professores e do próprio Jerônimo Arantes, enquanto proprietário do acervo. As imagens analisadas possibilitam identificar alguns aspectos das escolas retratadas e ir ao encontro dos elementos que conformaram a cultura escolar domunicípio; propiciam ainda compreender as representações e práticas produzidas pelos sujeitos das escolas rurais e aquilatar o papel dessas instituições no processo de escolarização da sociedade local.

Rural schools are characterized by answering the educational needs of the most isolated populations. This determines in a special way the daily task of teachers and head teachers, most of whom work by themselves, with very few possibilities of exchange with their colleagues. One of the basic characteristics of these institutions is the simultaneous attention of grades made up by boys and girls of different ages, according to the needs and possibilities of each school. Therefore, questions arise as regards the task of teachers in this work environment,the educational practice itself and the pedagogy developed from day to day to respond to the peculiarity of multigrade "issues". This article describes and states a reflection on the work of a group of these schools situated in the south west of Buenos Aires province. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
