Background: The dynamic risk outcome scales (DROS) was developed to assess treatment progress of clients with mild intellectual disability or borderline intellectual functioning using dynamic risk factors. We studied the predictive value of the DROS on various classifications and severity levels of recidivism. Method: Data of 250 forensic clients with intellectual disabilities were linked to recidivism data from the Judicial Information Service in the Netherlands. Receiver operating characteristics (ROC) analyses were used to determine the predictive values. Results: The DROS total score could not significantly predict recidivism. A DROS recidivism subscale predicted general, violent and other recidivism. These predictive values were comparable to those of a Dutch tool validated for risk assessment in the general forensic population. Conclusions: The DROS recidivism subscale predicted various classifications of recidivism better than chance. At present, the DROS appears to have no added value beyond the HKT‐30 for the purpose of risk assessment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

New information is provided on the galling fauna from oaks in Santa Fe (Cuajimalpa (Mexico City) obtained from collections on Quercus laeta Liebmann, 1854 and Q. rugosa Née, 1801 (section Quercus), Q. crassipes Humboldt and Bonpland, 1809 and Q. calophylla Schlechtendal and Chamisso, 1830 (section Lobatae). Seven species are cited for the first time: Andricus fusciformis Pujade-Villar, 2014 and A. guanajuatensis Pujade-Villar, 2013; Femuros lusum Kinsey, 1937 and F. repandae Kinsey, 1937; Kokkocynips doctorrosae Pujade-Villar and Melika, 2013; Loxaulus hyalinus Pujade-Villar and Melika, 2014 and Neuroterus fusifex Pujade-Villar, 2016. Of the 12 species originally described from Santa Fe, nine of them are only known in this studied area: Amphibolips cibriani Pujade-Villar, 2011, Andricus breviramuli Pujade-Villar, 2014, A. rochai Pujade-Villar, 2018, A. santafe Pujade-Villar, 2013, Disholcaspis crystalae Pujade-Villar, 2018, Loxaulus laeta Pujade-Villar, 2014, Neuroterus eugeros Pujade-Villar, 2018, N. verrucum Pujade Villar, 2014 and Zapatella polytryposa Pujade-Villar and Fernández-Garzón, 2020. New hosts are provided for some of the mentioned species. Some galls are shown that could constitute species yet to be described. We designed a digital double relaxation oscillation SQUID (DROS) with an SFQ up/down counter. The DROS is connected to a feedback SQUID loop and a signal magnetic flux is input to the feedback SQUID loop. The DROS generates two kinds of voltage pulses corresponding to the total magnetic flux in the feedback SQUID loop. Two kind of voltage pulses are converted to SFQ and anti-SFQ pulses and input to the feedback SQUID loop to keep the magnetic flux in the SQUID loop constant. The number of the generated SFQ pulses is counted using the SFQ up/down counter. Thus, the count corresponds to the input magnetic flux. Because the SFQ up/down counter is operated in the pulse driven mode, the digital DROS needs only dc bias current for operation. We designed and fabricated a digital DROS with a relaxation oscillation frequency of 3 GHz and an 8-bit SFQ up/down counter. Numerical simulation suggested the designed digital DROS has a dynamic range exceeding \pm100\ \Phi0 and magnetic flux slew rate of 3\times10^9\ \Phi0/s. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this article, we describe a method of design of very low phase noise dielectric resonators oscillators at 13 GHz. By using two Silicon Germanium transistors with total gains 8 dB and lower flicker noise corner between 10 kHz and 40 kHz, the phase noise of the oscillators can be achieved -125 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset. The resonator has unloaded Q around 14,000 at operating frequency and is then optimized and coupled to the amplifiers for minimum phase noise where QL/Q0 = 1/2 hence S21 = -6 dB. To incorporate tuning, phase shifter is also investigated. Abstract: In the present work the efficiency of extraction of aliphatic diesel range organics (DROs) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) from soil was assessed by using dynamic modes of pressurized solvent extraction (PSE), and ultrasound-assisted pressurized solvent extraction (US-PSE). Optimization studies were carried out using a blank soil (Non-Polluted Soil#1, CLN-1, RTC) and a real soil which was previously spiked with the analyte mixture and aged for 90 days. A laboratory-made manifold with controlled temperature and pressure was used to carry out the leaching processes. The extraction cell was inserted into an oven for PSE and into an ultrasound bath for US-PSE. The following variables were studied in each case, keeping the pressure at about 1800psi: extraction temperature, time of static and dynamic extraction and solvent flow rate. In addition, the time of ultrasound application was also studied in US-PSE. For PSE with dichloromethane (DCM) the recoveries were about 90–95% for both the families of analytes, using extraction times of 20min. Analyte extraction was quantitative by using US-PSE with DCM for 10min. In all cases, after the extraction process, the analytes were determined by GC–MS. Application of the method to a natural contaminated sample suggests that either the extraction time used in US-PSE should be increased to 20min or the solvent (DCM) should be replaced by a mixture of DCM:acetone (1:1), to reach comparability with Soxhlet extraction. Compact and low-cost SQUID electronics to operate double relaxation oscillation SQUIDs (DROSs) has been constructed for detecting magnetocardiogram (MCG) fields. SQUID electronics consists of low-noise preamplifier with a white noise of 0.6 nV/√Hz, flux-locked loop (FLL) circuit with auto-reset, and interface circuit to control FLL using 3 digital lines from a computer. The automatic control software adjusts SQUID parameters to the optimum operating condition within 15 seconds for 62 channels. Outputs of FLL circuits are passed through the hardware filter box to the 64-channel data acquisition board. Each SQUID electronics for FLL and digital control is built together on a printed circuit board of 45 mm × 95 mm. When SQUID electronics is connected to DROS gradiometer with typical flux-to-voltage transfers of 1 mV / Φ0, the noise contribution of FLL circuit is about 0.6 μΦ0/√Hz or 0.6 fT/√Hz at 100 Hz, low enough to measure MCG fields. Presents a compact and reliable planar gradiometer for a multichannel system measuring tangential components of biomagnetic fields. The readout electronics was simplified by using a double relaxation oscillation SQUID (DROS) which provides very large flux-to-voltage transfer of typically 3 mV//spl Phi//sub 0/, enabling direct readout by a DC preamplifier with modest voltage noise. The DROS was made from hysteretic Nb/AlO/sub x//Nb junctions. To realize a compact and reliable gradiometer, the planar pickup coil is integrated on the same wafer with the SQUID. The planar pickup coil consists of two 10 mm/spl times/10 mm coils connected in series to form a first-order gradiometer and has a baseline of 30 mm. The field gradient noise is 9 fT/cm/spl radic/Hz at 1 Hz inside a magnetically shielded room. The gradiometers were arranged to measure simultaneously x and y components of biomagnetic fields.
