The use of Kevlar in the field of ballistic and stabbing protection has been studied by researchers in polymeric composites for this purpose. This study presents complementary knowledge on energy absorption and dissipation in ρ-aramid fabric impregnated with shear thickening fluids (STFs), especially aiming to obtain better protection against impacts that are deeply associated with STFs, as well as color change, accelerated aging (QUV), and penetration depth (drop tower test). In addition, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) was performed. The research shows that there was a good distribution of STF particles on the ρ-Aramid fabric surface, promoting increased friction between the interfilament and the yarns, further increasing performance and, consequently, improving the energy absorption and dissipation mechanism and, also, the penetration effectiveness in relation to non-impregnated ρ-Aramid fabric. Regarding the protection efficiency against UV exposure (250–400 nm region), there was a significantly decreased compared to those non-impregnated Kevlar® woven with STFs. The FTIR analysis showed that the conditions of aging, after exposure to UV, did not produce new functional groups, that is, there was no chemical modification. Finally, Kevlar fabric impregnated with STFs improved penetration depth performance with the blades independent of the blade type with up to 81% increase in resistance. This result was improved due to interactions between the nanoparticles present in STFs, yarns, and even high-performance woven impregnated with shear-thickening fluids.

This work aims to characterize and evaluate the textiles and electrical properties that have a vital impact on weft knitted for use as substrates applied to telecommunications devices. There are several applications where flexible devices are required, for example when devices are contained in technical uniforms or technical textiles garments. So, to understand the characteristics of the substrate for use in antennas, therefore, it is necessary to characterize the different types of blended knitted (100% Cotton, 50% Cotton/50% Polyester, 50% Cotton/50% Spandex and 50% Cotton/50% Polyamide) to indicate the composition of blended Jersey structures that exhibited significantly better properties for application in E-textiles. Although the knitted fabrics studied in this article are developed for conventional applications, their real permittivity and loss tangent are satisfactory for use in applications as a substrate and the differences between values in each knitted fabric can be linked to the composition (CO, CO + PES, CO + PUE and CO + PA) studied.

Over the years, several studies were published on the application of knitted fabrics in textile composites. However, until moment, neither work studied the structural influence of float stitch (omitted), composition (100% cotton, 50% cotton / 50% polyester and 100% polyester) and length loop (0.98 cm, 0.84 cm and 0.71 cm) on the mechanical properties (stress, MOE and strain) of knitted used in composites. Then, article exhibit a statistical study (full factorial design) using response surface methodology (RSM) and analysis of variance (ANOVA) to investigate the mechanical behavior of Jersey knitted structures, which in turn, are one of the most used fabrics to reinforce materials textile composites. Cotton yarns are investigated because their use is considered an alternative for ecological reinforcement, as well as for hybrid reinforcement with polyester yarns in polymeric textile composites. Thus, in this investigation approached additional improvements on the tensile properties of Jersey knitted fabric structures. And finally, exhibit response on stress, MOE and strain mechanical behavior through effects of the interactions produced by variables and conditions using mainly determination coefficient (R2), value-F and significance probability (value-ρ). To provide validation of useful conclusions about mechanical behavior of knitted structures.

O artigo em questão trata-se de um estudo sobre o Currículo, na perspectiva dos desafios para uma proposta curricular de Filosofia no contexto das escolas. Para isso, buscou-se conhecer os aspectos importantes relativos ao Currículo, enfocando a sua contextualização histórica, as concepções epidemiológicas e formativas, explicativas ou não, orientadoras das práticas curriculares vigentes, correlacionando as especificidades da Filosofia. Para se realizar essa análise, nos propomos a responder as seguintes questões: O porquê desse conhecimento e não outro? De quem é esse conhecimento? Quais as relações envolvidas na seleção desse currículo particular? O currículo é integrado, pautado em conhecimentos interdisciplinares para educar de maneira mais humanizada? Nesse sentido, tomamos a concepção de que o Currículo é um instrumento que orienta a prática num processo de escolarização, pois o mesmo se expressa como um documento que orienta e guia a prática educativa dentro da sala de aula. Desse modo, o currículo é o sustentáculo da organização escolar como um todo, isto é, aquilo que dá vida à instituição escolar baseado em determinadas concepções de mundo, da sociedade, do homem, do conhecimento. Portanto, assume essencialmente um caráter político-filosófico, antes que puramente técnico-pedagógico. O mesmo não deve ser visto apenas como um documento burocrático mais como um instrumento que desenvolverá capacidades, onde atuará intervindo e transformando. A pesquisa é de cunho qualitativo e será bibliográfico, tendo como finalidade, apresentar algumas reflexões sobre os limites e as possibilidades previstas no Currículo para a Filosofia enquanto espaço de discussão. Para respaldar essa pesquisa buscamos fontes que abordam o Currículo e a Filosofia, foram utilizadas, sobretudo as seguintes fontes bibliográficas: Sobre o Currículo buscamos o Pacheco (2005; 2006), Silva (2003), Sacristán (2000), Ribeiro (1993), Goodson (2010) dentre outros. Sobre a Filosofia, utilizamos Deleuze e Guattari (1992), Porta (2002), Reale (1993) e outros. Desse modo constatou-se que o Currículo não é apenas um conjunto neutro de conhecimento e sim uma junção de todos os conhecimentos, formando assim uma interdisciplinaridade no campo educacional. A partir desse ponto de vista o currículo está diretamente relacionado com o sistema social, vinculado com a cultura, com o mundo ao qual pertence, possa se ter uma prática pedagógica, podendo proporcionar a socialização dos conteúdos. Dessa forma, somente um currículo preocupado com o todo social no qual está inserido, será capaz de proporcionar uma prática pedagógica voltada para a aprendizagem.
