Abstract

The article discusses the circumstances and bioacoustics of Leptodactylus chaquensis during predation by Jhamnodynastes chaquensis in the pantanal of Brazil. It mentions that amphibians act as prey for many vertebrate and invertebrate groups of relatively high efficiency of converting ingested energy into biomass. It further highlights that snakes are among the most important predators of adult anurans.
