Material synthesis is time- and chemicals-consuming due to the traditional ("brute force") methodology. For instance, Ni 3 TeO 6 (NTO) is a multiferroic material relevant in different applications. Herein, we used an active learning scheme to explore the different phases obtained using a complex hydrothermal synthesis procedure instead of a solid-state methodology. Different from conventional ML prediction requiring a large dataset, we show that with only 9 data points obtained through experimental endeavor, 87% of the experimental condition space is predicted. The predicted phase configuration is verified with the sample in a new synthetic work. Background: The association between psoriasis and some diseases has become relevant in recent years. Providing appropriate management of psoriasis from an early stage requires prompt diagnosis and treatment of concomitant diseases and to prevent any potential comorbidity. This approach should consider the adverse events of the drugs used to treat psoriasis potentially related to the onset of comorbidities. Objective: To provide the dermatologist with an accurate and friendly tool for systematizing the diagnosis of psoriasis‐associated comorbidities, which generally escapes the scope of the dermatology setting, and to facilitate decision‐making about the referral and treatment of patients with comorbidities. Methods: These position statement recommendations were developed by a working group composed of ten experts (four dermatologists, one cardiologist, one rheumatologist, one gastroenterologist, one nephrologist, one endocrinologist and one psychiatrist) and two health services researchers. The expert group selected the psoriasis comorbidities considered according to their relevance in the dermatology setting. The recommendations on diagnostic criteria are based on the current clinical practice guidelines for each of the comorbidities. The information regarding the repercussion of psoriasis medical treatments on associated comorbid diseases was obtained from the summary of product characteristics of each drug. Results: Recommendations were developed to detect and refer the following psoriasis comorbidities: psoriatic arthritis, cardiovascular risk factors (diabetes, dyslipidaemia, obesity, hypertension and metabolic syndrome), non‐alcoholic fatty liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, kidney disease and psychological disorders (anxiety and depression). In addition, alcohol consumption and tobacco consumption were included. The tables and figures are precise, easy‐to‐use tools to systematize the diagnosis of comorbidities in patients with psoriasis and facilitate the decision‐making process regarding referral and treatment of patients with an associated disease. Although cracking resistance is one of the most important properties affecting the durability of asphalt mixtures, this property is often not considered as a requirement in the mixture design stage, and the bitumen content is determined from other properties (voids content, permanent deformation, or water sensitivity, etc...). The effect of bitumen content on the cracking resistance of an asphalt concrete mixture (type AC) was analyzed in this paper by means of different types of tests. Firstly, a cyclic strain sweep test (EBADE test) was used to obtain the evolution of the complex modulus and dissipated energy density with the number of cycles as well as the failure strain. Results from a previous research study helped approximate the fatigue laws of the mixtures studied, providing insight into the effect of binder content on the fatigue life of the mixtures manufactured with 3, 4, 5, and 6 % of binder by mixture mass. Secondly, a direct tensile monotonic test (Fénix test) was used to determine the strength and fracture energy of the mixture. The mixture with the 5 % binder content exhibited better results in all tests, indicating that this value would be the optimum binder content as it showed good consistency between the cyclic and monotonic tests employed. Background Single-centre studies show that alexithymia, defined as difficulty in recognizing and describing emotions, is more prevalent among patients with psoriasis than in the general population. However, its prevalence and the consequences of the association between alexithymia and psoriasis are unclear. Objectives The primary objective of this study was to determine the prevalence of alexithymia, as defined by a score ≥ 61 in the 20-item Toronto Alexithymia Scale, in a large sample of patients who had plaque psoriasis for ≤ 10 years and were eligible for phototherapy or systemic treatment. The secondary objectives were to investigate the relationship between alexithymia and the clinical and psychological aspects of psoriasis. Methods Data were collected in the framework of an observational, multicentre, international study, the EPidemiological Study In Patients With Recently DiagnosEd PSOriasis ( EPIDEPSO), aiming at investigating the prevalence of alexithymia and other psychosocial comorbidities in patients with psoriasis of ≤ 10 years' disease duration. Results The prevalence of alexithymia within a cohort of 670 patients was 24·8% (95% confidence interval 21·7-28·2). Patients with alexithymia had a higher burden of psoriasis, including significant impairment of quality of life, higher levels of anxiety and depression, a higher risk of alcohol dependency and impairment of work productivity, compared with patients without alexithymia. Conclusions It is important to identify alexithymic patients with psoriasis in clinical practice as they experience a higher disease burden and have a lower ability to express their feelings. We report a case of cutaneous lymphadenoma, a tumour first described by Santa Cruz and Barr tinder the name of `lymphoepithelial tumour'. Twenty-three cases have been reported to date. The commonest site is the head and neck. and it is most commonly diagnosed in the fourth and fifth decades. The usual clinical diagnosis is basal cell carcinoma. To date, no recurrences have been observed after local excision. The tumour is composed of dermal lubules with a biphasic pattern of epithelial and lymphoid cells, it has been suggested that it arises as a result of faulty interaction between lymphocytes and epithelial cells. The article presents a case study of contact dermatitis due to Paraquat. Paraquat is a dipyridilum compound used as a weed-killer which is quickly inactivated by contact with the soil. A 41-year-old male field worker, who frequently used Paraquat and occasionally touched it in high concentration, presented an eczematious hand dermatitis. Patch tests with European Standard Series were negative, as were tests with Paraquat at 0.001%, 0.01% and 0.1% in water in water, without any irritant reaction. The asymmetric distribution of lesions are due to the localized affect of paraquat collecting in nail fold and affecting the matrix of the nail.

This article focuses on a heterosexual man with perianal tuberculosis. His treatment was started with rifampicin 720 mg daily, isoniazid 300 mg daily, and pyrazinamide 800 mg daily. There was continuous improvement with complete resolution of the ulcerations after 1 month. At no time were respiratory symptoms noted. Sputum became negative, and the radiological changes improved. Perianal tuberculosis presents most frequently as a large painful, rounded ulceration; the edges appear irregular, and the base is purulent and grayish in color. Other, not infrequent, presentations of perianal tuberculosis include abscesses and fistulas that go unnoticed clinically and tend to be diagnosed through their histopathologic picture.
