The source and harm of oily sludge are briefly described.The thermal treatment technologies and characteristics of oily sludge, such as pyrolysis, coking, combustion and smoldering combustion are introduced.The types and characteristics of oily sludge combustion equipment are emphatically introduced.In view of the problem that a large amount of acid gas will be produced in the combustion and smoldering combustion process, which will further aggravate the corrosion of equipment, this paper summarizes the influence and control technology of the corrosion behavior of the oily sludge thermal treatment equipment, in order to provide a better reference for the corrosion control methods and development in the oily sludge thermal treatment process. The current detection, classification and treatment methods of heavy metals was described. Based on the morphological classification of BCR step-by-step extraction method, it mainly summarizes the effects of pyrolysis conditions such as pyrolysis temperature, pyrolysis time, heating rate, additives and raw material properties on the morphological distribution and enrichment of heavy metals in sludge. It is clear that the solidification behavior and migration mechanism of heavy metals in the process of pyrolysis sludge are important research directions in the future, in order to provide some theoretical basis and technical support for the pollution control of heavy metals and the resource utilization of sludge in the process of pyrolysis sludge in the future.
